Bitcoin price speculation and analysis Thread

This thread was created to reduce the threads of speculations like would Bitcoin reach $1M, would Bitcoin reach $2K.
Rather than having countless threads on various prices,i felt it would be better to have a thread where we can discuss current prices or speculate with the direction of the market.
As time goes there would be some rules to prevent spamming because I can't self moderate currently, but it's vital that your price speculation should be based on fact or analysis not by emotions.
I'm hoping it would be something like the WO thread where we can discuss, enjoy a bull market and encourage one another during the bears.



If the thread isn't appropriate, then Moderator can do well to inform me so it can be locked.

I have seen some trend for some weeks on how bitcoin has been moving rise from Sunday evening till Monday.correction on Tuesday to Wednesday evening, rise around 6pm forum time on Wednesday till Friday where it starts falling by night and through Saturday's and pick up on Sunday and circle continues.
P. S I'm not giving any trading advice just what have noticed and am sure it's not going to continue this circle for long but let's see how this Wednesday plays out.
It's already falling,i feel more is coming but As long as we can hold $60K support today, I won't be surprised if we push above $66K.

What are your thoughts?

I think it's a good thread, I hope you'll get support from the members, but I don't think that everyone would share their speculation on this thread. Most users prefer to open their own threads when they try to share their speculations, but still there are some members who might share their speculations and predictions in this thread, and that's why I believe that this thread could be very helpful one.

Yeah, most people prefer to open their own thread to share their speculations, but it's actually nice to have one thread where someone can refer to when seeking information or ideas concerning this topic, rather than going to sort for the dozens of threads scattered around the board. That could be quite tiring you know.

Thanks for the encouragement. I will try and post it in the chat section to get it public. The market is moving like I anticipated for now but most times after the recovery it falls lower than the previous. We can see below $50K sooner or later.

Hmm, its a nice idea mate but the Wo observer thread is as old as BTT and many legends contributed in making that thread what it is today. So except members from over there who are of such same interest would want to start same discussiohere then you thread would be a success. If it's the later, I'll advise you try keeping the thread active. Soon others might see it's usefulness and join in.

Though you might not be able to design something like chart buddy which updates the prices of Bitcoin hourly, you might consider making an periodic summary of Bitcoins price like in a chart. It may be per day or hours just to keep the thread active and let everyone also be updated.

It's a good idea to combine all similar discussions into one thread. The threads you talk about can be quite boring, and I, for example, can't shake the impression that they only serve to fill in the weekly post quote.
I'm also not sure that everyone will stick to this thread when it comes to Bitcoin price speculation.

In fact, there are already a lot of such topics all over the Internet. I think that even on this forum there are already several topics on this topic. I don’t think it’s realistic to discuss the prices of the future because it’s unrealistic to know what will happen in the future; perhaps bitcoins will not become available at all; perhaps it will cost 1 dollar in one sat, anything can happen, we can only speculate that maybe in six months a year, and then very much approximately.

This is a nice thread. But I will not be surprised that the aim can not be achieved if it is about other people not to open their own bitcoin about price speculation thread. But the aim of continuing discussing about bitcoin price speculation on this thread can be achieved. I mean just like it is on Bitcointalk. As there is wall observer thread for bitcoin, other people are still having new bitcoin speculation threads which is although not the same but having the same or similar replies.

Yeah but maybe there is a specific separate thread for Altcoins or what? I also like the idea so there will be no other threads that discuss the same topic as it is messy to see uncompiled threads on this board or other boards like Altcoins.

Some members can create self-moderated posts (Donor rank,)^[1] but if we look at WO in BTT, it is a separate community with a high percentage of spam because it is group discussions, and in the end they come back to discuss the price. If you want something like that, the topic must be without signatures (I remember that there are boards that do not Signatures appear) and then you can control reasonable spam levels.


In general, isn't it better to start with some charts or price analysis?

I think WO is a very specific situation. Most users there already accumulated a lot of BTC, they bought at very low levels and they are using the forum just for fun and to chat about trading opportunities, withdrawal strategies, buying opportunities, etc. They don't even participate in signature campaigns, many of them dont even look at other boards of the forum. Almost a forum by itself.

It is very hard to create the same situation here...

Personally, I see all those price prediction threads as useless, as most users have no clue about what they are talking about and most of predictions are really worthless...

For speculation purposes, the BTC section has its own, so why there is a need to create a thread where speculation will be done? Well, still its a good idea to start a thread like WO but I am not very active on the WO thread as well, as I think that's mainly for OGs and old users of BTC who have been in BTC since 2012. I have seen them trolling each other, and you think members should share technical analysis or analysis based on logic, are you daydreaming haha.

No offense but expecting this thread of yours to be WO and a thread where members won't spam but share valuable posts, with technical stuff in them, I think that's not achievable at the moment but still that's a great approach I like it and I will try to contribute.
