Title: Coinbase Signed Up 50,000 Users per Day in 2017

Cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong said in an August 14 interview with Bloomberg that it was signing up 50,000 users per day in 2017. While there are legal questions to consider, Armstrong said that he expects the ICO trend to continue, saying that “ICOs are breaking all the previous crowdfunding records." And he also said that Coinbase helped customers to trade $150 billion worth of digital currencies in 2017. He estimated that about 10 percent of cryptocurrencies are used in real life, in games and other online purchases.
