I want to know the thought of anyone from the coinomize team about the current tracking down of coinjoin and mixing services. Are you discussing this regard with your team or you have plans just in case worst case scenario comes? You've been in the business since 2019 so I guess you know things that much in regards to this current situation of your industry. And I hope that you'd stay longer if not, the longest.

Definitely it's a concern not just for mixer though, every Bitcoin enthusiast is talking what the government is doing, trying to bring down tumblers that are supposedly to protect us and hide our identify from the prying eyes of everyone.

And I don't think that they will answer it directly though, maybe they are doing to make their mixing "more" secure and obfuscate so that it will make it hard to track down.

^^ Here is the final press conference and face-off.

Since Josh Taylor is now the underdog, I will be looking for him to push himself and win this fight. He is on a must win here, otherwise, his name will be lost into oblivion as the fastest undisputed 140 lbs, who lost his belt and then wasn't the same before.

Odds for him are very attractive and hopefully he will have that one great fight, just like those champion in the past wherein before they retire, they have that one good fight that will cemented their legacy.

Such a weird game also in game 1 of Wolves vs. Mavs with so many mistakes/turnovers on both sides. This is also the first time I've seen someone getting called for offensive goal tending.

Both Luka and ANT were having a bad night but Luka caught fire at the right moment.

How did your bet go? I lost mine.

Lost my bet too as I thought that the Wolves' frontline would pose problems for the Mavs but it didn't happen. Just fortunate for the Mavs that Irving caught fire early in the game and when Luka exploded, that's it for the Wolves. That game was 50-50, it's just that the breaks of the game favored the Dallas Mavericks.

Yeah, very unpredictable game, in the first half it was clear that the Wolves have the upperhand although they seems to missed a lot of open 3's wherein in the Nuggets series, they are hitting it. And then their defense falls apart against Luka, although no one can really guard Luka in the playoff. But as I have said before, when Irving goes into his mode, it's hard to stop him and he will score at will. And so he did shows it here that's why they won. Next game is the Pacers vs Celtics. I haven't check the odds yet, but I might go on the Pacer with the + handicap as they show that they can beat the Celtics at home.
Anthony Edwards calling out Kyrie was a silly move. Basically Kyrie exploded out the gate with 20+. First time he has came out with a fire lit up under his ass. Not smart to go poking at players especially those that IMO are great.

It was the first time that Kyrie seems to be playing with a mission here. Perhaps ANT thought that he can used the same mind games when he had a duel with KD during their series. But Kyrie and specially Luka are built differently. There basketball IQ and mentality has been tested before. And it's not like a player of ANT caliber, I mean he doesn't have the experience to trash talk the likes of Kyrie who has a lot of experience than him.

Now, Pacers vs Celtics tonight. The lines are Boston -9 currently and the over under is 224.5. Boston got lucky to come away with a win in game 1. Should have lost that game and been motivated to fight hard tonight. I think the Pacers cover 9 and again I would probably be looking at the o224.5 and taking over. Game 1 was 234 points without the OT and it felt like they got that easy. More of the same coming tonight as noither team is really awesome at defense. Jrue holiday is the exception obviously as that dude is a great defender, but mostly everyone else isn't all that awesome for the Celtics.

I already got the +9.5 for Pacers @1.86. And probably another high scoring game for both team, Pacers specially with their hot shooting and there are no defense at all except in the last couple of minutes of the game. So I'm expecting another close game, and even if the Celtics are going to win, it will not be a huge margin and I think the Pacers can cover that handicap for us.

It's pretty obvious, based on the data, those areas that have many crypto investors are the one who's real state and consumer spending are the highest. Which means those investors are selling all or some of their investors to buy real estate to diversify their portfolios. And just like the rest of us here who enjoys financial freedom because of our crypto profits, we tend to used it to spend on other items. So there should be no surprises from this report and it could also be the trend not just in the US but other countries who are friendly to cryptos.

I agree that if Tyson wants to win then he should KO Paul in the first three rounds at least because the longer the fight goes on, the riskier it is for Mike Tyson because of the youth advantage of Paul who has the stamina to go the distance.

I'm 100% sure that Jake Paul is aware of this and he will try to avoid slugging out in the early rounds, that's Mike Tyson's only chance to win, Jake Paul has proven himself to last the whole fight and win via a decision so if in the first three rounds he cannot hurt Jake I doubt if he can beat Jake in the latter rounds, Mike's power should play out in the early rounds and Jake Paul's stamina will play out in the latter rounds so this fight is very predictable.

He could used this strategy, but I'm thinking otherwise, he might want to test Mike Tyson early and see if he still has the power and Jake also wanted to please the fans that bought the ticket that he will go out and fight it out against the baddest man on the planet.

And for sure there is also the question on Mike whether he can last the full distance because age is a limiting factor for him. And again, fans wanted action here and that's what they paid for. Jake and Mike shouldn't disappoint as this is one of the biggest exhibition matches since this era has began. And then they are going to used boxing rules as well. So expect that someone will be knockout or his face getting dis-configured here.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Notcoin On Binance 16th May.
« on: May 23, 2024, 11:55:44 PM »
At the beginning of the listing on Binance, the price rose quite high, namely $0.034, if I'm not mistaken. I also had the chance to buy even though it wasn't much, but unfortunately the price then dropped and I made a small loss.
There are many of my friends who join Airdrop mining and get profits, some get $70, some get $100, some even get more. But many are also disappointed because they have already sent Notes to Bybit, even though the price at Bybit is quite low when compared to Binance.
You are too FOMO, even though when the initial listing, especially on Binance, the price will be very high, then it will dump when many people start selling it.
If you buy at a price of $ 0.03xx it is a very high price, now it even costs around $ 0.006.
Don't be too FOMO with momentum like this, especially many who have Notcoin from Airdrop which automatically the price will be very dump.

I don't have Notcoin, but many of my friends have from Airdrop but the estimate is not more than $100, there are also those who sell to collectors at low prices and regret when Notcoin is listed on Binance.
Yeah same here, I don't have it as well as I don't know where to find such airdops. Good for those who take part in the airdrop as they are now earning good amount of money in return for doing simple tasks. I do airdrops as well but I miss this one so better luck next time.

And checking it's historical logs, the all time high is May 16, $0.01445. But after that there is a huge dump in the market and it's -66.41%. So yeah, lucky for those who got the airdrop and then sold it right away during the listing on the 16th and make a good profit doing some minor task.

The next big question is, can Notcoin be one of the biggest bust this bull run or there will be a time that it will be pump and remain stable?

I have nothing against this project, but with the initial listing and then what follows, it looks like this is a pure pump&dump. But for those who can take advantage and have the experience, then take the risk, just saying.

By the way we read news that Usyk will only be undisputed champion for only two weeks because the IBF will strip him of the title and Hrgovic and Dubois will battle it for the title if Usyk agreed for a rematch but based on the IBF statement Usyk will still be their champion under this circumstances

Quote
Those ‘decisions’ will be in the hands of His Excellency Turki Alalshkih, who – like the fans- will also want the undisputed title to remain intact for the Usyk vs Fury rematch. The Saudi Chairman’s powers of persuasion should see Hrgovic agreeing to an ‘interim’ title being on the line for the Dubois fight, with the promise that the Croatian will face Usyk for all the hardware. -
https://www.worldboxingnews.net/2024/05/22/usyk-ibf-exception-hrgovic-dubois-not-title/

This is good news because we still want to see the rematch where all the titles are all for grabs

Yes, it's fair that in the rematch all the titles should be on the line. But we can see how powerful broker HE Turki Alalshkih, he was able to persuade Hrgovic and Dubois that their fight should be interim. And the IBF should not be kill joy though, I'm thinking that the organization can also be paid with handsome money to step aside their plans and let Hrgovic and Dubois be interim. Everyone is still at awe at Usyk's performance though, as I have said, he could surpassed Fury in this era as the best heavyweight if he can win in the rematch. And most likely Fury will still going to fight, but I guess his last one will be for all the British title, against Joshua.

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: Is this the bottom?

Re: Is this the bottom?
The thread has been created 2 years ago, but I think that this question is still relevant knowing that we have just experienced a market correction a few weeks after the Bitcoin Halving event happened.

As for me, I'm optimistic with the market currently that's why what we saw a few days ago might really be the bottom of the market and after that, we might see the market goes up significantly. By the time I'm posting this, Bitcoin's price is already at $61,000. Just a few days ago, it's price was below $55,000 at one point. A huge increase in just a few days. Many took the opportunity that's for sure (including me).

Yeah, the volatility though, as we can after the halving the price seems to be stagnant as it goes on sideway pattern for weeks and there are a lot of investors who take advantage of that situation and accumulated. And then are beginner investors, who don't have the patience to stay in the market and we can hear them complain as they expect a magical rise after the halving.

Overall, the market is still bullish, and the sentiment for sure is bullish even though we've seen a market correction. What we saw a few days ago might be the bottom of the market. Of course, I might be wrong. :) Just be prepared for what can happen.

It's going to be bullish, it will take some time, currently we went as high as $71k, so that is a big surge already. But we should look at the bigger picture. Short term it might be good to wait at least at the end of this year and see where we at. I speculated that we could be around $80k-$90k by that time. But in 2025, the last leg of the bull run, and this is where it will become tricky, as everyone is hoping to see 6 digits or higher.

If Biden says he'll veto the bill, he'll probably keep his word. I don't understand the Congress' resistance of the SAB 121 because they've been pushing laws that furthers financial transparency. It seems the stifling innovation is not the main reason why they don't like it. I am guessing they are afraid that their personal involvement with crypto will be revealed.

True, but with this resolution it will pressure SEC Chair Gary Gensler to withdraw SAB 121. If Gensler is not going to do that, then the Biden will have to make a decision here.

As far as his veto goes, yeah it's possible, that he will do it. And if in our best case scenario, him not doing anything means that this law is going to be signed into law in 10 days.

Yes, it's really very hard, I also did daily trading way back even before the pandemic, and it's like a see-saw for me. It's really unpredictable to make profits daily and even if you have a target almost 90% of the time I won't hit that profit margin.

So I just dump this whole idea and just focuses on more of a HODLer and doing DCA 2020 and moving forward. And it's not for everyone, I believed. Maybe I don't have the skills and the patience to remain in this game.

Patience is the key you just need to wait for the opportunity before you entry and make sure to wait for double confirmation that you know if the price will go down or up. I'm not expert yet but I learn from my mistakes and I am trying to correct everything day trading only works on futures but not every day is always a win some days are lost but if you have proper risk management your loss should be less than the win.
Dca is always works if you know if the market is bullish but if not you would loss in the long run.

True, but I guess another factor for me is time, I don't have a lot of it when I started trading and so I don't have the patience because I was always in a hurry to trade and that makes me lose money in the end.  So at least for me trading might not fit my schedule, and I remember that I was about to buy a trading bot that time, but I hold that idea. Now I'm just doing DCA, it's easier for me, although again, I wouldn't say it's drawback, but you really need to be mentally tough and not be tempted to sell when you have fill your bags already and just wait for the right time to sell near top and you have to time the market as well.

Philippines (Tagalog) / Re: Paymaya: Naranasan nyo na ba to?
« on: May 22, 2024, 10:10:52 AM »

It's good to see a new face to win the championship this year. Out of the four teams remaining, I think Tatum and the Celtics deserves it the most but I have no problem if Luka's Mavs gets it. Anyway, how do you plan on betting in game 1 of the EC Finals? Are you going to skip it to see how they will match up?

Betting for the Pacers +9.5 @2.01 as this game is like a getting to know each other game hehe so i think even if the Celtics win game 1 they will not cover the spread. But i would love to see the Pacers upset the Celtics in the East Finals as i have a bet on them @15.0, very juicy to think that the Celtics is a beatable team.

Looking at the odds now, +10.5 is still very attractive @1.84 so I'm taking this one. This is going to be a close one, usually the Celtics started slow in the first two games of the series. And so this first game, specially coming from a rest, might put them at a disadvantage. Plus the Pacer are high in momentum right now after that big win against the Knicks and it shows their character.

Congrats to us bro hehe, it was indeed a close and exciting game. The Pacers almost took that one if one for that costly error by the Pacers in the dying seconds which lead to a three point shot by Jalen Brown that tied the game and went into overtime. The game was also a high scoring one so congrats also to those who bet for the "over 230.5" before the started.

Yeah, I thought that the Pacers are going to steal this one, and I have no doubt that we are going to win our bet, hehehe. But it was really exciting first game. Next game will be close again in my opinion, and the odds might not be as big as this one, but still we will get go and bet on the handicap for the Pacers.

The Over as well it a hit as the game went into OT. So at least there's a lot of NBA bettors who might get this first game and win.

Next game, Wolves vs Mavs - I will be on the Wolves bandwagon at -3.5 @1.82.

Pero minsan kumukurot tayo sa mga na hold nating bitcoin pag kinakailangan at gusto natin within the next hour or so.

I thought that Ethereum ETF's are already a sure because we have seen Bitcoin already been approved this year. So I was surprised that the SEC is asking more documents here. Nevertheless, I do agree, this is a positive development, at least SEC is giving feedback, unlike before in Bitcoin wherein the approval will be delayed or cancelled but then eventually they give it a go signal.

We've seen precedence already so most likely it's just a matter of time for the approval. And since we are in the bull run, this is going to be big not just for Ethereum but for the whole crypto market as this could have a trickle effect specially on notable altcoins. And with that, Ethereum holders should just continue to HODL with this positive development.
