Tried using it just once and i must say, i'm totally satisfied with Unijoin mixer. Very fast speed and secure pay back to my wallet. Support team is superb and friendly, had a problem with the delay of receiving the output that took almost 24hrs but they we're able to resolved it. also It was my first time but I did like a pro because of very sample steps. It is time you have to start explaining that to those that might want to mix their Bitcoin but do not understand how the process look like especially when they are uncertain whether to try it or just relaxed.

The AML bot are always targeted at some addresses that might have received funds from address that are under the government watch list. This is one of the reasons we might be required to cut the connection with multiple wallet addresses that might have send funds due to business transactions and other reasons.

The random fee is exclusively used due to bigger anonymization. The same or a similar fee can affect the recognition of the connection between two or more transactions. With a more precise percentage like 4 decimal places, it is more likely that the analysis will recognize it as a network fee than if it is a service fee.
Why exactly 4 and not 3 or 5 is a question for the devs, although I think it's a random choice.

If we are to be talking about easy to use mixers, then I can you tell that Unijoin is definitely one of the those, in fact, one of the best in this regard, the step by step procedure to mixing coins ensures a very easy to understand process, guarantees zero mistakes what so ever, except the user wasn't paying enough attention and mistakenly submitted a wrong address in the process, that can I believe can still be fixed if the users notice it on time when mixed coins havent been sent to the wrong address, but let's say this somehow results in the lose of fund, this absolutely Is no fault of the mixer as we all can agree.

OK, just learning about this, if you have actually mixed your coins before the maintainance commenced, I believe you should receive your bitcoins immediately the time you set is reached, this should have nothing to do with maintainance except for those are wanting to mix afresh.

Did you take note of the actual time you set to receive your coins? Have the time elapsed and you still haven't received?

It seems like they started the maintenance process while the timer for the mixing was still on - so mine got caught up in the process.

Yes I did. It was a 2 hour duration and when the timer ended it changed from “Done” to “Awaiting CoinJoin” and later “Maintenance” and then back to “Awaiting CoinJoin” before I finally went offline.

Although they had a note concerning the awaiting Coinjoin so users won’t panic when it happens.

OK, happy to learn that you later received your mixed coin several hours ago, I believed that since the time you set had elapsed, it won't be long before you receive your coins, for I believe the coins you mixed arent so large that it should see or experience any significant delay whatsoever.

I suppose that the maintenance was not planned for, it's possible that whatever lead to the maintenance came up all of a sudden, as I personally believe that if the maintenance was planned, then there should have been an announcement of the maintenance a day before; or several hours away before the time the maintenance is scheduled, but all good by the way..

These days we have a lot of instability in the operation of some Coinjoin services. (Whether it's a coincidence or not, it coincides with the problem that the Samurai wallet developers ran into). I wouldn't be surprised if it's about emergency maintenance to avoid a similar (Samurai) scenario.

I am currently unable to contact UniJoin. It seems their website is now down and their Twitter account has been deleted (or suspended).

Therefore, until the circumstances are clarified, I will rename the thread to “Closed” and delete links leading to the site.

What comes to my mind is that they suspended work like Wasabi did.
