Whenever I buy crypto with my credit card, I usually buy litecoin from coinbase, which I will then send to an exchange like Binance or Crypto.com.
The low gas fee kind of attracts me.
Which is why I like litecoin!

I think It's too risky, if you buy crypto for investment from deb.
Crypto currency is unstable, if the market bearish what will yo do to pay your credit card.
I think better use free money to invest in crypto currency.

But maybe could you give a try to USDT under PLOYGON(MATIC) network.. Very fast transactions, extra low gas fees.. it varies between about ~ 0.0002 and 0.001 MATIC ! Yes, just that

Yeah, I think Polygon matic is good solution for high gas fee and  Polygon magic also faster transaction.
Several investors and trader use it.
Litecoin is potential coin
But  Polygon Matic  is better and more potential.

We can see the example of Bitcoin, when Bitcoin's price is below 1000 USD, the fee feels very cheap.
But when Bitcoin is priced at 50,000 USD, the transaction fees also increase and are expensive.

For comparison, Ethereum is also the same and when the price of Ethereum is cheap, the transaction fees are cheap.
And when the price of Ethereum is above 2000 USD, the transaction fees will also be expensive.

According to the OP, Litecoin also has very cheap transaction fees, but just look when Litecoin reaches 10,000 USD, I'm sure the transaction fees on Litecoin will also feel expensive.

that's true, when the price high, gas fee  will high too.
I think gas fee is depending on traffic, because while  demand is increasing to high with the same supply , this is what causes prices to rise. 
Rising demand makes prices rise. 
that the fact .
This is the law of economic law.
So I think traffic is the main determinant  factor of high gas fees. 
Rising Prices are just an indicator.
In fact, we can see that when prices rise, it is certain that demand will increase.

 Litecoin have 2.5 minutes block time (4T faster than Bitcoin), Bitcoin-cash have 32Mb block size (1Mb for Bitcoin), which mean that even with equivalent price/traffic Litecoin network can validate 4 times more transactions and Bitcoin-cash 32 times more !
 So you need more activities accordingly on these proportions to reach equivalent fees prices!!

me too, I like litecoin too.
It's not popular such as bitcoin , Ethereum and BNB but it's one of very potential coin.
By seeing the performance from litecoin at several years before, this coin even touch ATH at more  250 USD
I'll to hold now and wait until 2025, Let's see

Sadly, I haven't been impressed by the $70 range which we've been experiencing for a long period of time now. It's failing to give me that impressive pump outside $70 even when others make significant increase.

I can't imagine myself investing on lite coin. Truly, I have not been impressed on the price. Around 2016- 2017 it was number 3 on the list later it became number 10 and now, I think around 19 or so. Why will I invest on such coin?

Current litecoin price is $ 71 , Litecoin ATH at $ 412
Many predicted litecoin will touch ATH again.

Why have not you shared how much Altcoins or litecoin that you are holding now ? we will be more interested in hearing about that because there are so much litecoin it may be .

I have had Litecoin in the past , actually when this is still in the rank 3rd? i have been checking the movement and indeed I let my LTC gone and convert to other altcoins .

now I am happy to what i have done because it is a success that I did that .

I believe that the real opportunity to buy bitcoin forks POW coins such as litecoin comes after bitcoin transaction fees in Bitcoin equal the new currencies that are generated. If the average transaction fees per block is 1.5 bitcoins, then after 16 days the transaction fees will be the real incentive for mining, and then the halving effect will move to altcoins, then it will become an attractive investment, so the real opportunities for litecoin will come 16 years from now.

If I were him, I won't tell about this. It's kind of privacy.
And this will depend on ourself privacy security.

However, some people are still interested in Litecoin because the fees are quite low compared to Bitcoin. and in fact the fundamentals of this coin are quite strong as an old coin that still survives in the market.

However, even in the previous era, if I'm not mistaken, Letkoin could only rise that much and could not exceed its ATH. Moreover, currently there are more and more new coins whose potential is also quite good. so that slowly but surely Litecoin's position at the top coin is getting pushed down. I don't know whether they will be able to rise again and be like before or not, but I think with the conditions still being the same as now, it seems like this will be quite difficult for LTC. but that doesn't mean it won't. Hopefully the hope can surpass the previous Ath for this season.

 - matic is a second layer solution, not mainchain blockchain.
 - BSC is a centralized network and is controlled by 21 auditors, most of whom are from Pinas


The comparison may be with USDT on the Ethereum blockchain, TORN, or any other POW currency.

While LTC is POW and therefore more decentralized than other cryptocurrencies, unfortunately, the cheap fees are due to the fact that the blocks are mined empty, and therefore if blocks are spammed, I am sure that transaction fees will rise.
In general, everyone complains about Bitcoin fees, but the blocks that are mined are very full, so in terms of efficiency, it is the most efficient.

my belief is that scrypt merge mining of LTC/Doge is very good long term way to mine.

I hodl both coins once I mine them.

as time moves on the btc network will suffer from clogged mempool it will mean scrypt works better to move small amounts. without have to give kyc
