The reason is, if Bitcoin falls then all the altcoins prices will fall too but if the Bitcoin Pump then many altcoins will falter to go up.

To Keep watch is real. 
Some of our fellows leave for the mean time to anticipate the sudden sell. Some couldn't handle to watch the bloodbath market which can be define weak hands once sold on dip. Without stable coins during the dip, to wait the recovery is the only choice.

Yes, I think the major reason is panic selling. Because the big investors have sold their coin and there are sevral negative issues.
But I still believe, thats temporary and the market will grow again.
So keep calm nd hold it. If you have free money, hold is the best way to do now.

I do not think we are approaching a bear phase of the market despite the terrible dump, in my opinion the market will recover slowly, the causes of this dump can be as varied as the tweets of Elon Musk or the partial ban on China, however, we must never sell at a loss but wait for better times

I doubt if we are going to see something like that of 2018 but sure the road isn't not going to be a roller-coaster one especially now that bitcoin is struggling to keep up with $40k value.
The next level of support that's i hope we don't break down is $30k,if and if it got broken, then isn't going to end well for the whole market. Many alcoins will suffer collapse.

From the little experience am having in Cryptocurrency I believe what is happening currently is just manipulation of market bitcoin might still dump more currently market is very volatile and anything can happen currently we might see below $30k very soon.
