I don't agree with you at all. Doge has never had a "future" has always been based on a joke, nothing more. Now that "future" depends on the whims of Elon Musk and what he wants to do with his legion of followers, those who think they will be as rich as him without thinking about anything else. Doge coin is good coin because I think Elon musk is still behind it and always says positive things about it but on the productive side, there is nothing worth looking at doge coin because it's a coin that was built for fun, that's why the famous dog meme is always used and it's the king of meme coins. No other meme coins has gain much like it has did in the last 3 years.
The reason for dumping is normal activity of traders. Last 2 weeks, there were speculations that X payment might include Doge among its payment which made the price to shoot up and then it later capsized down after the pump. It's better to buy and hold if you are a believer of Doge but on a personal level, I don't like meme coins.
You can call it a meme coin but reality is the POW function is really solid. I see Doge outlasting me for sure. I only wish I was younger as Doge has huge upside due to its rewards structure.

What was the last time he mentioned DOGE in any of his tweets though? It's not like he's talking about it forever.
Musk buying Twitter was not a for-profit move but it was more ideologically dictated, which is actually a good sign. This means he's capable and willing to throw huge bucks into things he believes in even if there's no profit to be made. That's why people think he might take DOGE under his wings and do something with it.

What many people don't know, or don't stop to think about, is that everyone expects the same thing. Take advantage of the rise in Bitcoin to sell. To be fair, rumours are selling much better than facts. So if Musk hinted that DOGE could be added as a payment method, that would have a much better effect on the price than if he actually did that.
Adding DOGE as the payment on its own will not create any additional demand, as no one will be buying DOGE just to pay with it. What drives the price up is the hype.

They all look the same to me and they all have the same purpose. I think Dogecoin is one of the best coin for short term investment in cryptocurrency. It's very suitable and potential for investment. Day by day it’s popularity and price both growing up. So, I hope, Doge's future is bright and it gives us more and more pleasure.

There are many sites (for years) that accept Doge as a payment method, more than 2,500 companies and stores according to a website that shows a directory. The question here is not how to spend Doge, but whether at some point (which I doubt) anything will be done to improve Doge. Without future plans, projects stagnate, "luckily" for Doge and his investors, there is someone with a lot of money behind them, although in reality that fact is no guarantee of anything.
