I don't think that's going to happen because Ethereum has a large community, Ethereum was the first developer to use smartcontracts and currently Solana is just copy-pasting the satoshi idea with the POH system, while Ethereum is using POW, before everything turned into POS. If the Solana Network supported EVM I think it would be great, but there are still many problems experienced by the Solana network and the team needs to fix some of these problems.

Solana faces many challenges to date but successfully overcome all the obstacles. We can't compare it with Ethereum but now Solana is also a good trusted project in long term.

Solana seems to be a steady target to hackers and cyber security breach especially the chain. Unless they are quite able to tackle that issue of security, I believe the chain would be able to achieve much more success as the Ethereum chain. Although solana has a strong ecosystem. It is never possible because there are many errors observed in its algorithm which can crash like Luna at any time. A few days ago the Solana project was well researched and found errors but the project team quickly corrected these errors. I don't think there is any need comparing Ethereum with Solana network. Ethereum has gained world wide acceptance and use sage, Solana is still a new platform though the team has been doing great marketing and promotion, and I think Solana has a long way ahead to becoming the next or new Ethereum. As a matter of facts, it will definitely take many years for Solana team to do what I consider the "impossible" because Ethereum has been maintaining it's coinmarketcap position for many years. On coinmarketcap, Solana is far from the top 3 ranking position as at the time of writing this post.

To be completely honest, i don't see much potential in Solana. I don't think it can give anything more than being a money making maschine and there is no replacing Ethereum as the ultimate Altcoin. I would much rather look for coins that have a future in Metaverse. Like the Tamadoge coin that is a Meme Coin that has a great future in metaverse. It is an Dogecoin alternative that has sold out pretty quickly in Pre-Sale and it is defintiely worth checking it out.
I already purchased some at the pre-sale, and since then, since it was also listed on OKX, the price has increased by more than 500%. But investing in these projects that have a future in the Metaverse, in my opinion, is still wise.

For nor Ethereum is the best and BSC is the second.
But I think polygon matic is more potential to overtake BSC and Ethereum.

We can see the progress and popularity of Matic now.
But don't underestimate binance smart chain, the smart contract from binance..
I think we all know binance has good team behind their project.

I don't think Solana is the next Ethereum yet because there are some other network that are competing for the Dapp and smart contract. Ethereum utilities that stands out is providing developers with a platform to create Decentralized apps (DApps) and smart contracts. Solana, Cardano, Binance Smart Chain etc, has the same utilities. The competition among these tokens with similar features is going to continue in near future.

agree with you guys, it's not easy to replace ethereum, even though ethereum was hit by expensive gas costs some time ago, it won't make it easy to shift. because ethereum is very trusted and indeed very reliable until now even though there are many new ones that have emerged, it will not stop ethereum to continue to be used. Both are top altcoins. But I think it is impossible for solana to achieve the rank of Ethereum. Ethereum has more potential then solana. Solana is too behind from Ethereum. Recently Merging of Ethereum is a great step. So I think it is possible in future but solana need more potential.

Solana is a very strong ecosystem. It has a great future. And maybe the ether will move it)
There are a lot of strong projects on Solana right now. One of them, which I really liked, is Amulet Protocol.
Amulet it is a decentralized risk protection protocol for the Rust-based ecosystem initially deployed on Solana.
I am convinced that Amulet Protocol has a future because you cannot build a long-lasting profitable project without risk insurance.
Projects like this will push Sonana up and into the top.
