I equally do like LTC as well, I have a lot of it, I’m currently trading them on Bitget so I can share from the $60,000 prize pool for the LTC pre-halving. This Bitget pre halving event will cause an high demand in LTC, just watch how the market turns out to be, a lot of users are already participating in the event, this will cause LTC price to increase soon which is in line with my prediction ahead of the halving.

The gas fee is kind of friendly, but I think the transaction speed is something to talk about. Amazingly, LTC happened to be the first coin I got my hands on by performing a few tasks, though that was 2-3 years ago. An amazing project, I must say.

Litecoin Bitcoin is not as popular as Ethereum, but the demand for Litecoin is not less.
I have seen a lot of investor interest in this coin.If you hold this coin till 2025 then you can expect good results.

I don't like Litecoin, and I don't hate it either. Since BTC is not a security, neither is LTC, although it has a team behind it operating and developing the ecosystem. Over years, although BTC has had many changes and is currently leading the inscriptio trend, LTC continues to stagnate in price and ecosystem development. I am really worried about the future of LTC, it could really become a dino-coin in the crypto market when it is overtaken by new projects.

Lite coin investments are also profitable but for those who can hold the investment for at least 2-4 years. The ones who can't hold their investment for at least 2 years may not find a lot of profits from this particular coin. I believe that ones who invested in Lite Coin when its value was still under 60$ have made enough profits by holding it. I think in this bull run Lite Coin may also get pumped to $150 or above.

Yeah lite coin is among the main coins. With good potentials also I think it will be nice to buy LTC now and hodl because the upcoming Btc halving will surely make an impact on LTC price so ones you are investing on LTC just know is for long-term investment to gain good profits from it as @samreomo said it may get pumped to the range of $150.

Sadly, I haven't been impressed by the $70 range which we've been experiencing for a long period of time now. It's failing to give me that impressive pump outside $70 even when others make significant increase.

I think It's too risky, if you buy crypto for investment from deb.
Crypto currency is unstable, if the market bearish what will yo do to pay your credit card.
I think better use free money to invest in crypto currency.

But maybe could you give a try to USDT under PLOYGON(MATIC) network.. Very fast transactions, extra low gas fees.. it varies between about ~ 0.0002 and 0.001 MATIC ! Yes, just that :D
But this for operating it under your own wallet, for using it under custodial/external services it coast usually $1 the withdrawal ::)

Yeah, I think Polygon matic is good solution for high gas fee and Polygon magic also faster transaction.
Several investors and trader use it.

But Polygon Matic is better and more potential.

LTC coin is a very good and best coin in the crypto market and the future of this coin is very bright because this coin price is so much down in 2016 and now this time the coin price touches the sky and I hope in the future this coin will touch the $500 easily or may be this will cross the $500 because soon the bull starts and that time it will go high.

We can see the example of Bitcoin, when Bitcoin's price is below 1000 USD, the fee feels very cheap.
But when Bitcoin is priced at 50,000 USD, the transaction fees also increase and are expensive.
For comparison, Ethereum is also the same and when the price of Ethereum is cheap, the transaction fees are cheap.
And when the price of Ethereum is above 2000 USD, the transaction fees will also be expensive.
According to the OP, Litecoin also has very cheap transaction fees, but just look when Litecoin reaches 10,000 USD, I'm sure the transaction fees on Litecoin will also feel expensive.

I think gas fee is depending on traffic, because while demand is increasing to high with the same supply , this is what causes prices to rise.
Rising demand makes prices rise.

So I think traffic is the main determinant factor of high gas fees.
Rising Prices are just an indicator.
In fact, we can see that when prices rise, it is certain that demand will increase.

Litecoin have 2.5 minutes block time (4T faster than Bitcoin), Bitcoin-cash have 32Mb block size (1Mb for Bitcoin), which mean that even with equivalent price/traffic Litecoin network can validate 4 times more transactions and Bitcoin-cash 32 times more !
So you need more activities accordingly on these proportions to reach equivalent fees prices!!

I can't imagine myself investing on lite coin. Truly, I have not been impressed on the price. Around 2016- 2017 it was number 3 on the list later it became number 10 and now, I think around 19 or so. Why will I invest on such coin?

I have had Litecoin in the past , actually when this is still in the rank 3rd? i have been checking the movement and indeed I let my LTC gone and convert to other altcoins .
now I am happy to what i have done because it is a success that I did that .

I believe that the real opportunity to buy bitcoin forks POW coins such as litecoin comes after bitcoin transaction fees in Bitcoin equal the new currencies that are generated. If the average transaction fees per block is 1.5 bitcoins, then after 16 days the transaction fees will be the real incentive for mining, and then the halving effect will move to altcoins, then it will become an attractive investment, so the real opportunities for litecoin will come 16 years from now.

However, some people are still interested in Litecoin because the fees are quite low compared to Bitcoin. and in fact the fundamentals of this coin are quite strong as an old coin that still survives in the market.
However, even in the previous era, if I'm not mistaken, Letkoin could only rise that much and could not exceed its ATH. Moreover, currently there are more and more new coins whose potential is also quite good. so that slowly but surely Litecoin's position at the top coin is getting pushed down. I don't know whether they will be able to rise again and be like before or not, but I think with the conditions still being the same as now, it seems like this will be quite difficult for LTC. but that doesn't mean it won't. Hopefully the hope can surpass the previous Ath for this season.

yes this is , The main reason I like LTC is that the shipping costs are very friendly, but now there are many coins that have low costs such as USDT (matic) BSC (Binance) so there are many alternatives for sending, and for LTC itself I see that the price is still stable and valuable so there is no harm if it is still used as a mainstay for investment

- matic is a second layer solution, not mainchain blockchain.
- BSC is a centralized network and is controlled by 21 auditors, most of whom are from Pinas
The comparison may be with USDT on the Ethereum blockchain, TORN, or any other POW currency.
While LTC is POW and therefore more decentralized than other cryptocurrencies, unfortunately, the cheap fees are due to the fact that the blocks are mined empty, and therefore if blocks are spammed, I am sure that transaction fees will rise.
In general, everyone complains about Bitcoin fees, but the blocks that are mined are very full, so in terms of efficiency, it is the most efficient.

my belief is that scrypt merge mining of LTC/Doge is very good long term way to mine.
I hodl both coins once I mine them.
as time moves on the btc network will suffer from clogged mempool it will mean scrypt works better to move small amounts. without have to give kyc

You are the only one I know who is excited about DOGE from before Musk's spam, and not only because its price will increase but for the future trend. I see that compared to the development that is happening in Litecoin it is much better, and if Bitcoin fees increase and its price rises, it may be the best alternative, especially with POS trend and Layer 2 options (sidechains)

That is one of the advantages of Litecoin, and it is often used on certain platforms because it is cheaper and faster too. And basically, Litecoin is also a trusted old coin. I've been interested since before the last bullish era. But unfortunately, the increase in LTC last season was not as high as we expected. Currently LTC has quite a variety of competitors and they are also quite good. So, this will be a challenge for Litecoin to continue to survive various competitions in the crypto business. I like Litecoin and hope that Litecoin will really survive in any market conditions, and can really experience a real bullish era, surpassing the previous ATH.

I like Litecoin too basically for the fast transaction and it seems to me like a stable coin (even if it's not) because the volatility is not usually very high like other volatile coins. There's a topic a member created where he made reference to the age of the coin and the low price which by right it's not supposed to be so, I also believe that the price of LTC is supposed to be greater than that of Ethereum but it's not. Maybe it only lack much attention.

Yeah, I see litecoin struggle and like stable. Litecoin is old coin, I have used in my transaction because low transaction fee and fast. Although I prefer invest in other coins such as bitcoin , Ethereum, BNB, XRP, SOL , DOT in my wallet. But I still have litecoin, just not huge amount.

I used to like lite coin back then around 2016-2017 when it ranked the number 3. After that time, it has been struggling to survive and to stay in the market. Whatever profit it is given now or the transaction fee it is charging is none of my business. I prefer in investing in other coins than that of lite coin. I can't say I hate it rather, it is not doing well with my own analysis.

Many people used Litecoin for transaction but I don't believe they will hold litecoin because Litecoin doesn't show good movement in crypto market, the price is too low from ATH. TBH I don't have a lot litecoin, just a little LTC

Is there truly many people now Investing half of their Money in Bitcoin and half in Litecoins? because I have not met any that has this though there are many investors putting their 50% in bitcoin and another 50% is in diversified folio that composes of 3-5 different coins and not only Litecoins.
