I think Solana has potential to beat Ethereum at the future.  Let's see..

There are many blockchains claiming to be Ethereum Killer, but in the end they become Ethereum Supporter with EVM versions like EOS with EOS EVM, NEAR with Aurora or Solana with NEON ^^

Solana blockchain still has too many problems related to stability, I have not forgotten the series of Solala shutdown events in previous 2020 cycle. Solanan team will still have a lot of work to do to improve network quality.

Over the past year, SOL has shown better growth performance than ETH, which means an investment in SOL is considered smarter than an investment in ETH. However, I don't think that SOL will take the 2nd position from ETH in terms of capitalization.

If I think pessimistically, maybe Solana still feels far from Ethereum, which has so many features and is easier to use on the user interface.
If you look at the comparison of Solana Coins and Ethereum to compare the User Interface, it is still easier to understand Ethereum.
This is also a factor where the Solana coin has not been able to beat the strength of the Ethereum coin, it takes various factors to be able to beat Ethereum, such as the community, investors and various development projects.

There is still a long way to go for the SOLANA coin to kill the power of Ethereum because Ethereum is already solid and widely owned by various groups.
But in cryptocurrency, nothing is impossible and this will definitely happen, it could also be that next year Ethereum will be replaced by Solana, or Solana will turn into a scam.
Until now, the Solana coin has not been able to beat the dominance of Ethereum, it can only come close and I am also sure that Solana is very loved by its founder, namely Anatoly Yakovenko.

Solana also has its own evm version, Neon, meaning that Solana is also ready to welcome dapps from Ethereum to switch to using the power of Solana. We have entered a phase where blockchains cooperate to serve the needs of users in the market instead of fighting and destroying each other. I consider Solana, NEAR, Avalanche, Fantom all Ethereum Supporters  8)

I think it might be, but not right now and not in just one night like everyone else does. Investing in Solana is a good idea because compared to Ethereum it has lowest gas fees and is a coin that people want I know that Ethereum is the best coin that Solana can't beat it and that investing in Solana is riskier than investing in Ethereum but it is thought that Solana will become more valuable and useful over the next few years Solana says it can handle about 50,000 transactions per second while Ethereum can handle between 15 and 45 transactions per second this can help Solana grow quickly which is one of the most important things for a coin to do if it wants to catch bitcoin and or Ethereum or even pass them.

You're right, I think so.
As you said I don't believe too, solana will fast and cheap when many projects use solana platform.
Many people compare Ethereum to other platforms, but they didn't compare the traffic of them.
Ethereum has been used by many projects and most popular as platform.

There will always be a problem if the price is high, because, like it or not, it will affect costs even though it may not reduce speed. But it will all be meaningless if you have given your own trust, because you have to remember that usually many people are used to it and don't want to move if it's just a difference. not much, but security and speed could be improved. Actually, both have their own share, and everything will be adjusted to what can be obtained. Even though ethereum gas is quite expensive,  many people still use it because trust is very high.

The world has changed a lot in a few years, Ethereum continues to be the liquidity center of this market and other chains want to join Ethereum in serving users rather than competing and creating a less friendly war. Current users can use multiple blockchains at the same time through a Mobile application, the chains need to be connected to each other instead of being separated. Solana also wants Ethereum users to come to Solana to experience it  :)

There is 3 components that make up the blockchain which are speed, security and decentralization. All blockchain has it and you can't have all of them at ones in any blockchain, one or two most be compromised to get the remaining one.

Ethereum focus more security but lack decentralization because they are now turn to proof of stake from proof of work which has made the system more centralized and speed is slow, it can only process max of 15 transaction per second which is slow. Ethereum has security but it's centralized by the nodes and speed is poor.

Solana prioritize speed, they have one of the fastest blockchain that can process more than 3000 transaction per second in real time but they don't have security like Ethereum does. That's why it was been hack many times and it's very centralized community.

That is an overstatement mate, Killer? lol there have been hundreds of crypto that already tried calling themselves Ethereum killer but ending ? they are dead now or dying lol.

and this is not the time for this because SOL needs to prove themselves first in crypto world before claiming that.

Ethereum have been proven to be the most useful aside from bitcoin and the security is really tight that investors and users are assured .

Sol coin has a long way to go to overtake Ethereum. Ethereum currently ranks second only to Bitcoin in cryptocurrency. Then the current price is above $2300. Also Ethereum has numerous blockchains so it won't be that easy to bypass it. Moreover, Ethereum has a large number of investors and a huge demand for it.

In terms of transaction speed, it may be clear that Ethereum coin can catch up with the transaction speed of Solana coin.
But in terms of community, for all its supporters, Ethereum is the most important because since the Ethereum coin was first founded, it has had so many followers.
Solana may still be a new coin in cryptocurrency, but I am sure that Solana still has a minimum chance of approaching the market cap of Ethereum because I have noticed that recently the Solana coin has a lot of users and supporters, especially in various Airdrop events.

There are lots of airdrop events on Solana, but I'm not an airdrop fan.  So I don't know about the airdrop there.
I'm not sure Solana will overtake Ethereum, Ethereum is more popular and always being the second on CMC, accompanying bitcoin.

Solana is a project that has great potential and has very good development. Even this time, the price of SOL also rose very drastically. It's quite easy for SOL to advance and pass its ATH for sure. Apart from that, the SOlana network is now increasingly being developed and used. There is no doubt that this is a very potential project.

But if it is removed as an ETH killer? Hmm, maybe this is too much. In the past, there were often projects that were said to be like that, but Ethereum was still leading and irreplaceable.

A coin performance are not measure based on market cap. There use to be a time when Ripple XRP and ethereum ETH use to fight for top 2 on the market cap, several times they over take each other and communities celebrate them, the ICO tokens were the setback of Ethereum back then but when Defi trend started, it was quick to forget XRP behind. Nowadays, even Tether is bigger than this coins, judge nor by market cap.

I still don't like how Solana is push up, it's a false pump and that's why most of tokens on the chain liquidity is dried up, the most hype ones remain flat and no new ones are coming except for the airdrop coins but I believe it's because they are still trending, when the hype is over, they will go back and remain flat as usual.

Yep, Solana is a promising project with great potential, and the big hype around this coin and its blockchain lately only confirms it. So, I don't rule out the possibility that Solana may become or has already become a strong competitor of ETH, but at the same time, I think neither Solana nor any other similar project will become an "ETH killer."

Dunno if SOL can truly break Ethereum but one thing I understand is that this will take long term , not this year and not for the next 10 years so try not to believe about Ethereum Killer.
How many times that we have heard this terms but do they truly succeed?

Solana is not yet a major competitor to Ethereum.  But it is for big competitor BNB. however, the way Solana is able to popularize itself, there is no guarantee that it will not become a competitor to Ethereum in the future. sol has now created a lot of hype in the market and people's trust in it is increasing day by day. Investors are keeping a close eye on it. so it can cross BNB any time even though it is close to BNB in marketcap already. I also have some faith in sol that they will do much better in the future. this is my personal prediction

If asked, I would prefer Ethereum to Solana, even though Solana is currently in a positive uptrend.  Many crypto platforms will compete with Ethereum, which in my opinion is currently still second only to Bitcoin.
Solana has transaction speed and low fees, but the platform still often goes down, which means there are still shortcomings here. In fact, many people say that the Solana platform's security system is still lacking. It will take a longer process for Ethereum if it wants to kill Ethereum.

Solana is emerging and hot currency there has no doubt but I can't agree that it is killer or competitor of Ethereum. Because Ethereum is best coin after Bitcoin. Ethereums position is more upper than Solana. Ethereums position is second and Solana's position 5th on coinmarketcap. And usability and marketcap both are high Ethereum than solana. So allover thinking we can tell Ethereum is best then Solana. And Solana is not a major competitor for Ethereum.

I think Etheruem still has no serious competitor, just look at the market cap of Etheruem. I don't see any altcoins that has the capability to overtake the market cap of Ethereum. Even Tether (USDT) seems very far from overtaking the market cap of Etheruem. Ethereum has a big role in crypto space, most investors put their money there. Ethreum is the most favorite one for altcoins investment, there is no other altcoins that can be as popular as Etheruem.

If I learn anything from crypto, is that nothing is set in stone other than Bitcoin being the most valuable one. While it is unlikely that ETH will suddenly lose its use case due to people making layer-2 or deploying new projects over there, there is no stopping people from making a new network that can compete with it. Take a look at the NFT market for example. If new projects keep popping out and they use the BTC network or BTC sidechain instead, then the market for NFT will decrease on ETH if the fee is still not friendly for the average joe. I know this sounds a bit cope considering how expensive minting on BTC is (plus the overall negative reception about it), but things can change if the load to mint is processed separately and people just need to send the hash to secure it, for example. I think Solana also has a decent chance here, but definitely not enough to claim yourself as a killer to ETH.

Actually everytime that ethereum is having that huge Gas fee for transacting supporters are diverting in other currencies and yes this is why Solana is making its way in the recent days.
so maybe Cathie Wood at some point is correct but since the gap is so far for now but lets see for how many years to come.

Solana will eventually grab lots of eth tokens and I really do not see Eth lasting past 20 years.

Currently, many coins are increasing in price due to the influence of Bitcoin which is going to the moon. You should immediately make a profit withdrawal because there is no guarantee that the price of altcoins will always be at a high price, because the next step is a very sharp price drop, there is no who knows when for sure and only time will tell.

That is a piece of good advice but I don't know if there is a sharp drop in altcoins since blockhalving is not over yet and if you know all previous movement of the altcoin after the blockhalving I'm sure you shouldn't be worry what will be next after the Bitcoin event. Yes, you are right, but I think the Bitcoin season hasn't happened yet because usually Bitcoin has to wait 1 year after the halving to make a sharp price increase for Bitcoin, the altcoin season has probably already happened because a few days ago lots of altcoins have increased their prices. up to more than 50%.

It's the same as what happened during the last block halving. The only reason altcoins are surging is because of future events, as I mentioned before.
For me, we will see what the price of Bitcoin will be this year, not next year because next year should be an altcoin season based on history and price, that's my prediction, same as before when people invested first in Bitcoin, you will notice that if bitcoin becomes bearish, the altcoin will become bullish because they are moving their holdings to altcoin. That's just my theory.

Very good analysis, but if you look at previous altcoin price movements, if Bitcoin collapses then the altcoin price will also fall to a very deep price. For next year, it is everyone's hope that many altcoins will rise and become expensive, but no one can provide a guarantee for This can be done well because I believe the influence of the Bitcoin price collapse is still very strong.

Not all altcoins should experience a decline after the block halving I believe and based on previous Bitcoin and Altcoin price movements last block halving most of the coins have skyrocketed while Bitcoin is in a bear market maybe this is just my theory that it can happen again but not on tokens or meme-coins but I think those Pow coins that do not still have a movement since the Bitcoin price surge will rise next year.

When the price of bitcoin and altcoins collapsed, I didn't just stay silent, but I gathered all the money I had to go in and buy again, I didn't want to miss this opportunity to buy bitcoin at a cheap price, you can see that the price of bitcoin has started to recover and Hopefully this is the start of Bitcoin's journey to $100k.

Actually everytime that ethereum is having that huge Gas fee for transacting supporters are diverting in other currencies and yes this is why Solana is making its way in the recent days.
so maybe Cathie Wood at some point is correct but since the gap is so far for now but lets see for how many years to come.

Have heard several times about ethereum killer, with different coin names. because ethereum always has problems with high gas fees. Solan and BNB could be alternative smart contract platforms but I'm not sure Solana will be an ethereum killer.

its up 60% from when I go into it. my four coins are over 640 up from 400.

I can’t complain for now.
then that would be something to cheer you mate  ;D ;D

Mine is just starting to taste the fruit but sadly the market now is starting to show reddish not sure if this will continue but hope that another correction is what w are having.
i started to close my eyes for now because it hurts me seeing it fall badly again hahaa.

Initially BNB was a substitute for Ethereum's very high fees, but over time Solana was created and if you look at the technology that Solana has is better than BNB, Solana has really faster speeds than Ethereum with very cheap fees too, So with the technology that Solana currently has, I agree that Solana has the potential to be a killer for the Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain ecosystems.

But do you have any knowledge about the weaknesses of the SOLANA coin?
Because I don't want to get caught up in the hidden reality about the SOLANA coin. If it is true that the SOLANA coin will be an Ethereum Killer and a BSC Killer.

Maybe I'm just thinking logically and critically because when coins are created they definitely have pluses and minuses. We can see that the minus of Ethereum is that when the price of Ethereum coins becomes more expensive, Ethereum transaction fees also become more expensive.
I will give an example like this about price of Ethereum:
-Ethereum price 100 USD.
-The cheapest Ethereum transaction fee is 0.001.
-This means that the transaction fee required is 0.1 USD. (cmiiw)

-Ethereum price 10,000 USD.
-The cheapest Ethereum transaction fee is 0.001.
-This means that the transaction fee required is 10 USD. (cmiiw)

Well, now let's look for the weaknesses of the SOLANA coin because it is certain that the advantages of the SOLANA coin are all altcoinstalks members know.
Do you know what the weakness of the SOLANA coin is?

I think the weakness of the Solana network is that the network is still active. It was seen that a few days ago there was a problem with the Solana Network system which was down for several hours, then in terms of security the Solana Network which is still relatively new there is no guarantee that its security is truly reliable and finally price manipulation. it can happen in Solana trading. So far, that's what I know about the weaknesses of Solana's many advantages.

The blockchain space continues to develop, and competition among platforms drives them to improve. While Solana may be better than Ethereum in some areas, Ethereum is still improving, particularly with upgrades such as Ethereum 2.0 that address its shortcomings maybe Solana can replace Ethereum as determined by how you define an Ethereum killer and how both systems expand they could exist together and serve different needs or one might come out as dominant. It is difficult to know in advance what might happen.

Aside from from the fees Ethereum that is pushing ethereum backwards. Is there anything else that is special about Solana? Vitalik is already working on how he's trying to make ethereum to be more decentralized since there is a lot of critiques about how ethereum has move from decentralized to a little bit of centralized and if compared to Solana, they are even worse in decentralization.

Check the number of devs that are working on Ethereum and the weekly submit on Github, you will be amazed, don't forget that later 2 existed because of the presence of Ethereum but I don't think the project that existed because of Solana are still alive.

Ethereum is still the best, and all the hype that arises is based on and started from Ethereum.
See how memecoins that started out in Ethereum like PEPE and then moved to Solana and several other chains.

So if saying that solana is an Ethereum killer, it's still not enough.
Remember how the solana blockchain keeps going down when the transaction spike is big enough, is solana ready for that.

Ethereum has many experienced developers and that makes Ethereum survive until now and become the largest Chain for altcoins today.

The cost issue was only a matter of my time, when Dencun Ethereum was released a few days ago it was going to experience a gradual decline, and now it only affects Ethereum's Layer 2 chain.

Yes, that's what the circulation of cryptocurrency is like, there are always new developments and new hype. This all depends on the Global Elite who are trying to move everything. When you have a lot of money, you can control anything in this world as you wish.

just watched this video about cathie wood saying that solana is a faster and better version of ethereum, is that true? given that the ftx fud is gone and big players are starting to work with solana, i think she might actually have a valid claim for once lol

Solana cannot be an Ethereum killer because it is not stable compared to Ethereum, yes, it grows very well and brings decent interest, but it can also fall and those who do not know how to trade short, this is very bad for them and they can lose money, any unstable asset (not like everyone else) cannot be better than others, even if it grows very well.

If you are conscious about it, then you should not fight it.
Whales or Global Elite you mean have control over the market, but not completely.
They start all the manipulations with news and such, so you don't have to panic and see how the Whales play.

That's right, when we are aware of the whales' game, we only need to follow the price movements and never go against the current made by the whales. As long as we want to make a profit, we have to follow their movements from behind. Let the Whales set prices in the market.

Honestly? I don't see how such a (bright) future in sol. What to say, if developers can't fix the problem with network stopping. What else is there to talk about?  ;D

Yes, the price has gone up a lot. But that doesn't tell you anything. The technology didn't exist and still doesn't exist. If I have to choose, definitely my preference falls to ETH. I think most will have a similar choice if we're talking for perspective/future etc.  ::)

Many users would prefer the ETH network if this network had adequate fees. Most likely, high fees in the ETH network are one of the reasons why the Solana network is in high demand lately. Of course, the Solana network is far from perfect, but it is worth noting that the developers are making attempts to improve it. For example, they recently released an update that should reduce network congestion.

How to say, rather use through the opportunity to earn much more + every day there are new (interesting) projects. If we are talking about commissions - in this respect, ETH unambiguously loses sol by times. In any case, both projects have their place and both are worth using. For grid congestion, that's a separate story. In any case, everyone chooses what to use + in which network to store their savings.  ???

Bsc chain became very popular due to ETH's high transaction fees. And yet for exactly the same reason sol has become very popular.  Everyone hoped that ETH 2.0 might solve this problem, but nothing has changed.  SOL network has become very popular day by day and the price of SOL is also increasing.  Many people are making huge profits by investing in Sol, so many people think that SOL will be an alternative to ETH. something can happen in the future lik this

No one of them is after each other, they all exist independently because each has its own way of operations in the crypto market, same also they have different developers, we cannot compare their performance to each other because they are not having same investors, so what determines their individual stay and relevance is in the way of their performance, just as we cannot deny that they are both deserving for good commendation.

about investors Most likely, I agree with you because ethereum investors are those who want stability and some kind of income, while investors in solana are those who want to earn a lot in person and are willing to take risks.

It is highly controversial to believe that Solana will take the place next to Ethereum because Ethereum is second only to Bitcoin in terms of popularity, so Ethereum is second only to Bitcoin in popularity. However, Solana Coin is a very good platform and has a good popularity, which is very good in its position. But I don't think Solana Coin can kill Ethereum and take Ethereum's place. Because every time Solana tries to kill Ethereum, Ethereum will correct itself more and build a better position by increasing popularity.

Solana can currently be said to be a place to test the level of risk we are willing to face, many cheap tokens are created from the Solana network. So we have to be careful when we want to trade on Solana because sometimes there are projects that are scams and can leave our assets trapped for quite a long time.

If Solana is said to be faster than Ethereum, it may still be accepted, but if Solana is better than Ethereum, it must be considered again because the problem of electricity extinguishing problems alone Solana has not found a solution, it is still too far away for Solana to compete with Ethereum.

The risk is of course present everywhere, I should doubt this project because there are a lot of people there who are interested in promoting this project, although anything can happen. I think that this is a justified risk and you can buy Solana.

All cryptocurrency coins or all projects that are being built will have their own level of risk, therefore we as traders and investors must understand all the risks that occur so as not to suffer losses from what we do. There is no guarantee that other projects will not have risks too.
