I is a good looking coin with a promising future, and Ethereum as we all know is very outstanding and is massively adopted compare to other altcoins, but I want to ask if waves can compete with it.

I think that is impossible ethereum is always ultimate platform it has lot of advantages and very easy to use also we can build a strongest smart contact through ethereum network ethereum has huge number of users thus everyday ethereum transactions are significantly increasing in the future they will launch many future so there is no doubt ethereum will go to the moon definitely ethereum is a best alternative investment coin next the bitcoin.

No , I don't believe waves can compete to Ethereum. Waves is very potential and has been predicted will have have promising future. But don't have popularity like Ethereum Ethereum is really no most popular besides bitcoin.

Competition in Cryptocurrency is possible, including Waves will compete with Ethereum. Both coins have their own platforms, but for now Waves is way below Ethereum. Waves will need to fight hard if it wants to compete with Ethereum.

Yes I agree, Ethereum is more popular and potential than waves. Maybe BSC will be good competitor for ethereum at the coming future. BSC is faster and cheaper transaction fee

Well you're rightb, Ethereum is more popular and powerful altcoin and the number #2 on CMC. Waves is stating to be more popular now. But I think waves will never be compete to Ethereum. It is too far and will take several years again

Compete for what ? For popularity and demand, I think It is really difficult. Ethereum is the most popular coin below bitcoin. Ethereum has high demand and big community. So I don't believe waves can compete to Ethereum.

Although WAVES supports DeFi, it is clear that WAVES community cannot be as large as the Ethereum community, we have not seen any major projects on WAVES from 2016 until now, so I do not think that WAVES can keep up with or compete with Ethereum. WAVES is just an option for the Russian business community.

Waves is a very popular cryptocurrency with incredible capabilities and technologies, but unfortunately Waves is still far from Ethereum and I do not think that in the future Waves will be able to become a competitor for Ethereum, for example, at the moment I think that BNB, Chainlink, Polkadot and Solana can become Ethereum competitors, but definitely not Waves, but of course everything may change in the future.

Well,tbh I think it's not that easy.. I'm using Bitay for trading and as you can see in the link below,Waves aren't that popular on here. I don't think this could happen tbh.

I expected that WAVES could do this in 2017, but Waves missed the opportunity despite having too many advantages compared to Ethereum & Bitcoin. Waves missed Defi, Metaverse, NFT, GameFi and was just a project to inflate and make money in the market. The future of Waves is indeed bleak.

Ethereum's classic problem is high gas fees. We see that ethereum 2.0 also does not solve this problem. Sometimes the long wait from investors who hope that ethereum gas fees can be as cheap as other networks is impossible.
Waves is very cheap for transactions, but that doesn't mean it can be a competitor for ethereum, it's still too far away.

That's the waves is more faster and scalable than Ethereum, it can also less security. Additional difference is that the waves own is programming language which is called RIDE.
