Guys, it obvious that Initial Exchanges Offering( IEOs) are gaining more grand over ICOs (Initial Coins Offering) this days in crypro ecosystem. It appears that this new way of selling coins on certain exchanges while the projects are still ongoing is the new style and looking profitable. What do you guys think on this new method?
-
It is a good change if a project has listed tokens/coins on exchanges when the project is still on going. People can already know about the progress of transactions and respond of buyers related to tokens/coins. I think it is a better improvement.
-
In case, when the projects are using the Initial Exchange Offering, they will make the investors be sure of their projects for real, because they are listed on an exchange. So far, many projects have used this system. However, most of them only have been listed on the new exchange or not popular one, But, I personally will prefer to IEOs than ICOs.

IEOs were usually done on new and small exchanges but after what Binance did, other major exchanges may soon follow.

Yes, i think many bigger exchanges will follow very sonn because it is paying off by the look of things . I personally prefer IEOs not because it is a new trend but because it actually bringing back confidence to everyon involved in crypto especially investors..

Is there any data that would support that IEOs are more successful in terms of generating sales than the ICOs? Although it has some benefits, I am still not convinced it can replaced the old ICO method.
-
IEOs are still in an experimental stage in my opinion. We still have to see if it is really effective or not. I have yet to see or hear a start up project claim that they had a successful token sale because it was done on an exchange (excluding bittorrent).

Yes, I like this method. The coin is listed, it has a history. Less possibilities for scam coins. This post motivated me, to search the internet, to find more about this method. Thank you.

I agree with this system because it assures that the token will be exchangable, having a market.
Many projects, indeed, have never hit the final exchange.
-
I think that is the best means of gaining trust for some projects. investors can have a place to trade their project since it is already in an exchange. the problem is, how long will such project last and will be a long term project. because if everyone sells out, the project might just disappear.
-
the ICOs option has encouraged lots of scams where people ran off with investors fund. the IEOs offers a platform where you can trade your tokens even if you are not sure of the project.
-
IEOs somehow solves one of the issues of investors in ICOs which is the late listings of tokens and that is good.
-
In my opinion, that is something good. It is unlikely that scam projects will be able to follow the IEO, because the exchange will definitely select it. In addition, the proceeds from selling tokens can also be more transparent. So, we can estimate. What the project will be like

I think for now, there are no data to prove that IEOs are more successful than ICOs but we are gradually heading toward that direction in my opinion. The benefits of IEOs is glaring this days and obviously it may out shine the ICOs in the future.

In any case, ICO projects are now practically inoperable due to the high level of fraud. We need to change something and therefore HOO can serve as a way out of the current stalemate. After all, government regulation of ICO will not be soon. If the sale of tokens is already at the stage of unfinished ICO, it will already be clear what this project and its token are worth. The level of fraud in this case should fall sharply.
-
If the project make IEO, then at least representatives of the exchange have formally checked it (although, of course, this can be very formal). But at least something. And IEO has a chance to complete faster than ICO - because the range of participants is wider - and you don’t have to spend time on KYC ... I think the future is for IEO and STO.
-
IEO is better than ICO.Ieo is an not run by the project's team but team work with a crypto currency exchange.also users to buy tokens directly on its exchanges.
-
I think IEO is far better than ICO due to the fact that the project is already in an exchange and after the IEO the investor that sell his or her investment immediately. But in a ICO, investmentor need to wait for the project to be listed in am exchange before selling.
-
ico period already long gone, nowadays only few ico's are able to achieve their goal, this icos are from very strong project and team, example of such project is Avalanche who sold out on their ico, it was surprising to me but it is true, i guess investors have strong believe in the project.
-
IEOs have less chances of scam unlike ICOs which are totally unregulated and unverified. Exchanges won't want their reputation soiled so they'd be careful with the kind of projects that they list. But now, we have other forms of token sales such as IDO, Rico, among others. Nevertheless, ICO will still persist.
-
I believe that the method of attracting IEO is now better, there is a guarantee that such tokens will immediately appear on the exchange and they can be sold, compared to an ICO
-
I think ieo is much more secure than ico because in ieo crypto exchanges verify the documents and team of crypto project before launching it on their exchange but in ico everything is hidden.
-
Initial exchange offerings, or IEOs, are a fundraising mechanism similar to ICOs. The main difference is that IEOs are hosted on a specific cryptocurrency exchange, where users of the exchange can invest directly in the project and purchase tokens upon launch.
-
From the point of view of the entrepreneur, IEOs have a 6 figures bill so not a good way to start a project
-
There's definitely a cost involved with IEOs but the tradeoff is the ability to leverage an exchange's existing user base for marketing purposes and have some of the details of distribution & organization outsourced.
