Basic questions about this forum / Re: Signature Campaign
« on: December 09, 2023, 01:22:08 PM »
Hello, I'm new on the forum and want to know if there's a way I can run a signature campaign on this forum.
Can someone guide me with the steps like we used to do on bitcointalk.org?

Thanks!

Firstly, welcome to this platform. Although I haven't read the rules regarding those who want to run any form of campaign. Regarding the campaign, I believe you must determine the forum where you wish to organize it and try contacting the moderator to inquire about the necessary rules for running it. Good luck with that.

Bitcoin has always been the best crypto to buy anytime any day however, in the evolving world of cryptocurrency, diversification of portfolio has become paramount to achieve the utmost results which is profit making.
Very true, diversification is a key factor for survival in this space. I wholeheartedly support the idea of crypto enthusiasts considering the purchase of altcoins due to price differences. The price of Bitcoin is quite significant and could be a concern for those new to crypto investment. I wouldn't recommend any specific project, but I would advise conducting thorough research before making any investment, as no project is guaranteed.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Are you investing in WEB3.0 projects?
« on: December 09, 2023, 12:58:58 PM »
Do you think Trend Web3.0 will replace trend Metaverse & GameFi? Are you investing in Web3.0 tokens?
We can't be too sure about this, even though the Web3 project is growing fast and vast. 'Replacement' shouldn't be the perfect word because the digital space is very much open to any form of internet-related technology. The competition might be very high, but I think it would take time for the majority of internet users to fully embrace most of these things.

Bitcoin Forum / Bitcoin: Could Anything Be More Magical Than This ?
« on: December 09, 2023, 05:10:37 AM »
A commonly used phrase to refer to this form of currency is "magic money." Interestingly, it doesn't correlate with fairy tale stories; instead, it earned this name due to the unseen potential it has accumulated, which is lacking in other forms of currency. From its mining mechanism to its halving process, few cryptocurrency enthusiasts might realize that it took a collective effort of intelligence to conceive such an amazing idea. However, the identity of the brains behind this project remains a mystery, leaving it unsolved due to differing opinions in the industry today.

The blockchain, a form of security, seamlessly integrates with this project, granting every Bitcoin holder the authority to validate their transactions and act as their own banks. The robust protocol in place ensures high security, making it nearly impossible for anyone without your keys to authorize transactions on your behalf. Though this protocol is stringent, preventing the recovery of funds sent to the wrong address, exceptions are uncertain and not guaranteed.

Concern arises when those in authority begin to control the full activities of this currency. While it is guaranteed that every mechanism of this magic money will remain in place, the route it takes becomes uncertain. What will happen to Bitcoin when market exchanges are fully controlled by those in authority? Will Bitcoin still maintain the transparency it was originally built for?

Forum related / Re: Karma - thank/punish
« on: December 09, 2023, 04:30:17 AM »
The +karma/-karma links under each profile avatar are responsible for karma, to thank (+) as well as punish (-) users
Senior members and above have the ability to issue karma. Don't abuse it, otherwise you will have your issuance revoked
The rules are quite easy to understand. However, in a situation where a senior member or others give negative karma to a post that appears okay and satisfies others, is there a mechanism in place that allows other senior members to remove the karma?
