Yeah, we would see; BTC spot etf's was delayed for a long time before it was finally approved, i don't really know when these institutions filed for their ethereum etf's, though i remember Blackrock filed for theirs (ishares Ethereum trust) in late last year. It may take a long time before we see an ethereum etf and the sec might reject all the pending applications.

Bitcoin spot ETF was not delayed. Since November we have known the date that United States SEC will approve bitcoin ETF, that it would be January 11, 2024. The day was not shifted. I do not follow much about ethereum ETF but I saw on Twitter as some people speculated that it would be approved likely in May. About bitcoin ETF, I saw on the news in November that bitcoin ETF would be approved in January 11, 2024. I have a brother that even read the news from somewhere and also told me the same thing. We all waited for the day and it was approved.

That's right, just because someone is an expert in something doesn't mean they will always be right about everything related to that, so even if someone has a lot of expertise about the cryptocurrency market, their predictions wouldn't always be correct because the market is unpredictable, and many times, it moves in directions that weren't expected by anyone in the market.

The recent dip in Bitcoin's price is a big example of this. A lot of people got liquidated in the dip because they had longed Bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies but it fell down and they all lost money, one trader even lost $1.1m during this.

Everything in crypto is unpredictable also most of the gurus out there are frauds they will teach you to trade but the fact is they don't have any proof of profitability even if you ask them for overall performance but they can't provide any. If you want to become a trader you need to be consistent and start learning by yourself the basic trading that you learn from research should be enough to start observing and trying yourself to trade you are the only one will discover what behind on the chart.
I learn something from gurus from youtube but all guides and trading strategies do not work in crypto market its too volatile but find the support and resistance work that's the only guide that works but the 1 to 3 percent rule in trading plus the wrong position will always hit by overextended spikes because crypto market is manipulated only for little spikes but if you are advance to think that there is someone who does hunting stop-loss be advance and put the position under over extended spike.

Its just only my experience but I still keep learning from my own gurus outside and on YouTube not all are working you need to backtest and test yourself if you can be profitable tradingview should be the best friend tool you can use with free papermoney that you can trade inside their tool.

Nhưng dù có là DeFi trên BTC thì em cũng chưa thấy nó xuất hiện. Mọi thứ chỉ là nhất thời, chúng ta chưa có bất cứ dự án nào thực sự bùng nổ để xác nhận xu hướng tăng trưởng chung cho toàn thị trường.

Hệ sinh thái BTC thực sự khá nghèo nàn, những dự án tầng 2 được giới thiệu với Defi nhưng không thực sự có được nhu cầu hay người dùng, mọi thứ chỉ dừng lại ở làn sóng tầng 2 ăn theo mà thôi. Sự tăng trưởng giá của BTC vẫn là quan trọng nhất, đặc biệt cho sự xuất hiện của mùa hè DeFi thực sự trên Ethereum và Solana.

You're probably right, but since the thread is getting traction and since mods allow it to be, I don't see a big problem. It still relates to Bitcoin, so having this topic on Bitcoin subforum does not sound like much of a departure from forum rules etc.

Does anybody know at what level Bitcon's price should be for the mining to be profitable (assuming fees on a "normal" level and with the current difficulty)?
Sometimes we see people throwing that number around, but can't find it, and calculating this myself could be a bit of a pain.
