Bounty campaign is a job by giving a lot of information to everyone about a new project that we support, then when the project is successful or reaches the softcap then the bounty hunter will receive payment.
But in reality the new project is currently different from 2015, because the new project that runs the bounty does not take weeks to distribute tokens.

In my opinion, yes, I still think that being a bounty hunter is still profitable. Even if we are experiencing bear market now, doing bounty campaigns are still a good way to earn, maybe not  for now, but in the long run it will still give us income. Just choose carefully the project you are going to do campaigns with so that you can be sure you get paid once the campaign ended.

for me to be a bounty hunter is a choice. sometimes bounty is profitable and sometimes i find bounty scams. The bitter sweetness of being a bounty hunter I've ever felt, but it's more bitter because it's time consuming.

It depends on the project you investing your time in and the amount of effort you putting into the work..once you work hard enough on the right  project you will make good gains from it
