For me the issue is more about finding projects that will perform once they get on the exchanges, that way you're likely to avoid most of the scam projects anyway. Can never be 100% sure though, especially now that there are so many new ICOs. Generally if a bounty is offering what seems to be an inflated reward, then the likelihood is you're probably not going to get anywhere near that amount. Problem is that bounty rewards are calculated on the highest ICO price, and most are going on exchanges way below that. I've received plenty of rewards from what I considered to be good projects, only to see them wiped out when I got the opportunity to sell. Comes with the territory I guess. Good luck.
