ALTS & ALTT: Full information about our tokens


Hi friends!

Probably all forum members altcoinstalks have heard, and some even have tokens ALTS in their wallets.
Previously created topic  - https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=833.0 - Withdraw ALTS.

"What it is?" - the beginners will ask..

ALTS is a token created on the Ethereum blockchain and supports the ERC20 standard.
If you go through the link https://etherscan.io/token/0x638ac149ea8ef9a1286c41b977017aa7359e6cfa , you can see that the emission of the token is only  10,000,000 ALTS. Believe me - it's a very small sum! As can be seen from the figure (below), the owners of the token are only 555 people.



Why did I generally create this topic??
I answer - the majority of new (and not so) users only heard about forum tokens, nobody got them (including me). Many people get stuck in their thoughts: “Is there an ALTS token at all? Is this just a scam? ”
Not! This is not a hoax! There were really payments, but the last time was in the summer (I didn’t receive it either - I was registered quite late).

And what did I do?

I asked one of the pioneers of the forum - Flodner - https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?action=profile;u=3065 to conduct a transaction using the ALTS token, to which he kindly gave a positive answer.

After some time I went through the link https://etherscan.io/, I entered my wallet address and saw the transaction:






I switched to myetherwallet.com/, loaded the token and got the result:



So develop a forum - in the future it can bring a tangible effect

Yes the tokens are real! It's also true there hasn't been widespread distribution since summer, apart from Sparta Supporters receiving their 1 SPARTA for supporting the project at the end of October this year. As admin has previously stated, there is more importance of growing the forum by popularity, usage and interest, as well as SPARTA and associated projects, in order to provide real value to ALTS tokens, as opposed to merely further distributing. As distribution on it's own doesn't add value.

Don't forget that your points are 10:1 ratio of ALTS, so you don't need to to have it in your MEW to be holding ALTS on the platform. No doubt over time with growth of the forum thanks to growth of the crypto & altcoin space, these tokens will begin to find real value, with further distribution of tokens expected.

I believe that the ALTS token is extremely promising, because the forum is developing, and the value of the coin will only increase.

Did you submit already your request for ALTs or are you waiting for your balance to grow even bigger?

Yes, with EOS there would be several benefits, on of which - no transaction fees, so technically people would be able to transfer even 1 ALT or even smaller balance

Yes, I applied for the withdrawal of tokens more than a month ago, but I still expect.

As I understand, tokens are not sent strictly on schedule, but when it is convenient for admin to do this.
Or when a large number of such requests are typed.

After a brief study of this issue I came to the conclusion that EOS exceeds Ethereum in almost everything!
One of the main differences between the EOS and Ethereum networks is the decision-making mechanism. Ethereum uses a work-proof mechanism (and will soon switch to a hybrid work-proof), and EOS will use Graphene technology, which uses a delegated consensus mechanism (DPOS).
One of the potential benefits of the EOS platform is improved scalability, which leads to faster and cheaper processing of large transaction volumes.

That is, it is more profitable to use the EOS blockchain ... but perhaps the admin has his own point of view

One of dignities of EOS are free transactions into a network. This is a very nice virtue.

I don't think that ALTS should be on the EOS platform personally, I'm quite happy with the ERC20 model and backing Ethereum. While EOS tokens may well be better in many ways, the platform still has a lot to prove in my opinion. The centralized aspects of it are still a concern to me.

I also think so because there are many new users in this forum. The best choice right now is to hold ALTS tokens for long-term investment.

With small supply ALTS token can really do well in the future, i will suggest team to come up with more use cases, something like reddit is offering with their coins, like premium forum membership for alts tokens or banner or pay per click ads on the forum for alts token.
