Recently a friend of mine made a rapid change in his behavior. He does not do any business. There is no possibility of getting much money from the job either. When I asked him why he had changed so much, he told me about gambling, although he did not want to share his gambling with me at first, after I repeatedly asked him, he informed me about it. He told me he lost a lot in gambling. But last few days ago he won big amount of money from gambling. With the winnings, he made quite a few changes in his behavior that were easily replicated.

Have you ever found someone who suddenly won a large sum of money through gambling and changed his lifestyle with that money?

Well i didn't know someone who won a large sum of money, but i have watched a tv documentary on a guy from my country that won the country's lottery. Well he started to buy a lot of stuffs he really wanted to. They people suddenly noticed and become nice to him (like connecting family trees like dots, claiming that some of the people who he didn't even know is related to him by blood). And the sharing your blessings spree has started. And he was happy and blind that a lot of people is just to stay for his money. And then like every finite things, he lost all of his money. What is left is his big house and a Resort he owns (That he cant even maintain due to lack of money). And all the people who he use to give his money, don't even recognize him anymore.
You can check it out in youtube its from a TV Show from my country with a name "Rated-K" but i couldn't remember the title of the episode.

Gambling discussion / Re: Keep trying you will win
« on: March 28, 2024, 02:57:50 AM »
Im gambling these days, mostly in casinos and sports betting people are motivated by other peoples win, and also they keep on trying their luck to see if it will be their turn to win big one day.
In gambling there us a saying that "no risk, no gain"... lol its so funny how people encourage their selves with these quotes, doe I'm a victim too, but as a gambling have you ever thought of risking it all and loosing everything?
What is your say on this? Are you part of us that are trying our luck in gambling? If you are then drop your own quote to motivate the rest..
But mind you always gamble responsibly.
Well life is a gamble. That's kinda my motto. And yes, i gamble from time to time. And i wouldn't say risk but i would say odds, the bigger the odds the bigger the prize. But i haven't tried the risk it all. But i tend to allocate a certain amount of money when i gamble. That money win or lose is the money i can afford to lose. So i might say, i can risk it all (the gambling allocated money).

Gambling discussion / Re: What inspired you to gamble?
« on: March 28, 2024, 02:50:36 AM »
As the topic clearly states it, what inspired you to gamble?

I would say, to test my luck. And also the chances of earning or gaining more money in the expense of your own money. As a kid, i have this interest when i watch someone who plays card. From my country card games between 3 or 4 people are quite popular as a pastime. And when i get to try to play, at first i never stopped. And the enjoyment, kinda bonding with other people and also winning really fueled up my desire to play. Then since, almost every ads on social media offers Online Casino, i continue to play in moderation, for the nostalgia and maybe a little winning. I now used to play on weekends and at minimal capital and at low stake games. Just to keep me occupied, kinda like chilling.

Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling for All?
« on: March 28, 2024, 02:45:52 AM »
I was reading some of the gambling threads this evening and this topic just came to me. I was seen like come and gamble and make money or gamble to make extra funds so I was like, if gambling is for making extra income then everyone would like to play gamble and make that extra money but there are some inexperienced gamblers in the society, and gambling is limited to some ages. So what about those who are inexperienced on gambling? Are they also part of the gambling industry? Because gambling need experience and luck. Is it that inexperienced ones use luck or they have to have the experience first before gambling or gambling is only meant for the experience ones? Let those who are very deep in gambling should discuss and others should learn. Is Gambling for everyone? You can see more here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5484943.0

I think that Gambling isn't for everyone. Accessible to everyone, yes (Since we are at the age that everyone has a smartphone, and Online Casinos/Gambling is just one swipe away). But since, gambling requires money, understanding and legal requirements (such as age and some requires KYC) it isn't for everyone. In addition, its more like a hook, not everyone gets hooked, some just chill and some is for the mere experience.
Inexperienced gamblers are kinda like a "walk-in customer" or a "unique hits". They are also part of the gambling industry, since every professional gamblers or mere gambler started as inexperienced. And as inexperienced gamblers most likely win base on their luck (unless a game requires skills and gaming style).

Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble wisely
« on: March 28, 2024, 02:37:07 AM »
In a mere sense, there is no actual "Wise Gambling" as Gambling is defined to be a "game of chance". And also "Gambling Wisely" for me, is more of controlling your losses rather than outsmarting a game and win. (Unless the game actually allow its player to do so, like counting cards). And in the end, In Gambling, Winning is a probability and Losing is Certain.

Nag alaga ko ng mga tarantula before pandemic. Syempre this includes feeders gaya ng lats, dubia and super/meal worms. My favorite is the singaporean blue, p.mettalica, cobalt blue, M.balfouri and GBB.

Pero if given a chance talaga, gusto ko turtles and tortoise lang AST and Sulcata.
maganda ba ang Spider alagaan kabayan? kasi  merong gusto mag trade sa hamster ko ng Baboon tarantula kaso wala pa talaga ako Idea pano sila alagaan though nasa youtube naman yet gusto ko marinig sa mismong nag alaga na ,hindi ba sila mahirap i keep and madali ba sila i thame ?

Mayroon arboreal, fossorials and yung normal lang. yung di naman nag babahay. baboons eh mga tarantula na fossorials or naghuhukay. medyo skittish sila incomparison sa ibang tarantula kasi sanay nila sila sa ilalim ng lupa. kung trip mo maganda mag start ka sa Brachypelma at grammostola species. di sila fossorial or arboreal. lumalaki din sila ng 6inch. And lastly di sila na ti tame, handling them is a no no talaga. pero kung ako tatanungin yan maganda hawakan Brachypelma at grammostola mag pag ka docile sila.
does it mean wala talagang tarantula na pwede i  tame kabayan? kala ko katulad sila ng Ahas na pag na tame eh pwede na natin hawak hawakan.

but this is really worth a read , i will dig more sa mga binigay mong lahi at kung ano ang mapag papasyahan kong alagaan , interesado talaga ako sa spiders, salamat kabayan ah , +karma ka dito .
The level of their intellect doesnt allow to have a master kabayan. But then again if, your into arachnids, you can check tarantulas and scorpions. Sa scorpion naman, the bigger the pincer the lesser its venom naman. id prefer scorpion with the biggest pincers (Sipit) rather than smallers and the color na di masyado camouflage. pero since nag start ka na din sa exotic, why not try feeders like rats and roaches. marami ko kakilalang naka angat sa buhay gawa nila.
Yown isa din yan sa naisip ko scorpions actually either of the two talaga ang target kong simulan eh , yang tarantulas or scorpions and since ang ganda ng info mo eh malamang pasukin ko muna ang scorpions parang ma rare sya compared s spiders.

about rodents and roaches , meron na ako nito pati superworms .

meron na ako lahat ng classification ng Hamsters , from dwarfs to syrians , meron na din akong Mice and Rats , same as Dubia roaches , kaya kumpleto na ako sa feeders animals nalang talaga ang need ko.
May i Suggest sayo pre. M.Balfouri or Socotra Island Blue Baboon (Monocentropus balfouri). Baboon sya which is fossorial pero communal specie sya. Unlike sa ibang tarantula, sila yung specie na pedeng magkakasama sa kulungan. check mo sa youtube kung gaano kaganda gagawin nilang series of tunnels tapos kung gaano sila karami or kabilis mag parami.

General Discussion / Re: Did you ever quit smoking if so for how long?
« on: March 26, 2024, 04:11:19 AM »
I quit smoking in March of 2021. I was put in the hospital with fluid around my heart and couldn't breathe, basically drowning. I went 2 weeks dealing with it before I finally said take me to the hospital. I was in heart failure and almost died. Got admitted and spent a week in the hospital getting fluid drained from around my heart and taking tests etc.

When I was released a week later, my wife emptied the house of all salts, threw away any smokes, and changed our diet plan. I got surgery on abad valve in october 2021 and an aortic aneurysm. Haven't had a cig since March of 2021.

Yeah, I saw your story in the other thread. Good for me, I didn't go to that point, although I'm diabetic and we all know that if had one, sooner or later it will have a effect on our lungs.

So again, just like that, I quit smoking, but wife is a smoker too, and so I will see her cigarettes and ashtrays lying around. But I'm not tempted in any way to go back and up to this day, after I quit, never go back and will not.

That is hard! But i don't know you guys and your story but. I worry about your the second hand smoking, that probably also affect you even though you quit already. And the same time your diabetic, which is i am too and i know our immune system is already weak. So hope the wife also quits.

Pero in a mere sense, i think ayaw din natin magbigay.
And i agree with you, na "You can't give what you don't have, you can't keep what you don't give, and you can't sustain what you don't receive.” For example, if you put a message out there in the world that I am not worthy of attracting something worthy, then the world will respond back in the same manner to that message. Kaya nga sana mawala yung mindset natin na ganun. and lets give karma if we really fell like na worthy naman yung bibigyan.

In general, di naman totally madamot. We are actually cautious when it comes to things, that we think na may value. At the same time, may chances din na magkaroon ng scarcity based dun sa kabilang forum. And at the same, nasa mag bibigay din ng karma if he feels like it. Pero in a mere sense, i think ayaw din natin magbigay. Kasi baka di tayo mabigyan.

Started at my teen age. Been a chain smoker at my 20s. Then suddenly quit, when i found out that my youngest daughter has a weak pulmonary system. And yes before her, I'm trying and keep on trying to quit. Then just it hits me, i suddenly didn't like to smoke anymore. And some occasion, i tried to light one, but its not amusing or appetizing anymore, its just plain sour and undesirable.

General Discussion / Re: Money or Respect ?
« on: March 23, 2024, 05:50:22 PM »
Money, cause we are living in a society that bases respect from someone's worth. Sad to say but its the reality. People my find you respectable cause of your worth and what can they benefit from you. But in some sense and situation, respect is more valued rather than money. But in general, its money that defines worth and respect.

General Discussion / Re: Relationships

At first, i was in search for the right one or the "Dream Girl". But then i realized, am i the "Dream Boy" at all. Haha!
I think, if your looking for a relationship that could last and work. You'll never know, its like Thats it!
Married for more than a decade, we have our ups and down. But then, i think the dream girl, is the girl that actually believe and trust you. The girl that will be there to support you and keep up with all your flaws. I would say typically, like every man would say, a perfect t*ts and As* is what were looking for, but actually if you found that one girl with such traits, its actually a bonus.
