I have two further questions...
1. How can I identify the post that resulted to me earning Karma?
2. Assuming someone gets to a senior member rank and above, and he/she have just one karma, can he/she issue out more than one karma to others ?.

1. You cannot know (no one does) which of your posts is the one in which you have been granted positive karma.
2. Yes, you can give more than 1 karma, but it is not good to abuse it.

You should also keep in mind (in case you didn't know) that you can only give or take away karma from the same user every 24 hours.

I would add that when karma was first introduced, many thought that it would be important in getting some privileges or tokens, but then everyone quickly realized that it’s just like liking someone you like or liking what they write, it’s a really nice topic and its implementation was the right decision.

1. You need to give an opposite karma to solve the problem.
2. No, to prevent karma wars. Only admin can see karma logs.
3. Karma is karma.
4. No more than 1 karma per some period of time per one user. You'll see a page saying your limit on a user is over until some time will pass.

scammers get the scammer tag > not possible to remove > unless proven innocent in forum court
cheater gets cheater tag > so far no way out > in the future might be a reduced punishment with another tag that replaces the cheater tag
karma mostly for everyday interaction about quality, and help us detect some red flags > in the future will play a role in shitpost tag

i might implement a trust meter also, this way it would be a bit more in harmony with btt

A scammer will get scammer badge if he/she is proven. If he/she is unproven, he is certainly free from any sanction. He won't get negative karma, nor getting a scammer badge.

To appeal negative karma with points or ALTS, I think it should get an agreement from admin or judges. If admin and judges don't agree with the appeal, scammers can't appeal the negative karmas and scammer badges. In this matter, it won't be easy for scammers to remove their sins with ALTS or points.

We have karma system, I don't think we need to have trust meter. If we apply karma meter, we may apply merit system too someday.
If this happens, what is the difference between altcoinstalks and bitcointalk? I think I agree with @hugeblack, he said altcoinstalks shouldn't be like bitcointalk. We have our own system and our own characteristic. As long as we have no serious problem with karma system, we don't need to apply another system like trust or merit.

The most important thing in my opinion now:

 - Don't try to change the forum to be like Bitcointalk.
 - Respect the former members and their system here. Frankly, I have not yet understood all aspects of the forum, but it seems to me that the decision-making mechanism is more dynamic.
 - Enjoy posting, avoid violating the rules as things will improve over time.
