As a newbie in this cryptocurrency industry you might get this wrong by making more mistakes in crypto. Does crypto name really matter before it become successful?
You mean crypto project name? For me it does not matter people will look on the aspect and use case and wouldnt care much about the name. Maybe some could have some preference but does it matter? Only few will be using name as basis but more on development and its potential.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Bulls Take Charge
« on: October 03, 2020, 08:29:57 AM »
Let's just look at the market starting to turn green and growing this October. And I think it will come back in November. So the possibility of a bull run is very big at the end of the year.
October first week is not good actually as the bitmex news and even Trump being positive could probably rekt the market. Stocks are already going down and its not good to see that most of those investors on bitcoin might pulled up. Im not a pessimistic person but I do hope you realized that anything could happen.

Sorting Box / Re: Is KYC really a good thing?
« on: October 02, 2020, 09:23:51 AM »
When I am following bounties, I avoid joining a bounty that requires the participants the KYC procedure. I think it is not suitable for bounty hunters. The KYC procedure is only for investors and doesn't need to be applied for hunters. This is instead just suspicious like a sign to steal the hunter's identities.
Its because that KYC process only for investors. Its ridiculous to see a bounty or airdrop conducting some sort of kyc. Like do they even fund the tokens? Not and thats not appropriate to implement. There are cases that good projects have kyc but of course you need to make sure you are giving it to a good company.

A lot of bad news about DeFi as a result of projects that pull their tokens from liquidity, for example, Sushi. will this reduce DeFi reputation?
This is inevitable. We cant fully trust any team that will be precise to hold their dev fund. Firt and foremost they can also not resistant to temptation as the funds will probably go high and their eyes are rolling with dollar sign. Too bad the team cant stopped and pulled it out. Damn money, so easy ti be tempted to such crime.

DeFi tokens / Re: My the best DeFi tokens..?
« on: October 02, 2020, 07:57:33 AM »
My favourite token YFI, polkadot, Makerdao Cartesi, DIA. YFI already very popularity  achieve around the world.
I think cartesi is not a defi but a gaming ecosystem platform. But who knows when they transform already to the defi features cause majority of projects have been converted into the defi application. Most of the defi focus on lending and farming and I could say yfi is the best protocol for defi for now.

DeFi tokens / Re: What companies are using DeFi?
« on: October 02, 2020, 05:39:32 AM »
It just shows that ethereum is more in demand when it comes to innovations than bitcoin. I respect bitcoin as top market coin, but the tech stops there. Ethereum on the other hands are innovating faster also become a ground for defi hype and origin of this billion added on market. I can see that holding it would benefit in the long run.

I have realized that nowadays because bounty hunters drop the tokens they get immediately its transferred into their wallet, and so ICO's takes more time to give them their Bounty rewards. I want to know is it that reason why it takes them weeks and even months before they give us out tokens or there are also new things under the sun. Let me hear from you side. What is the reason?
I think thats because they dont want their tokens to dump. Thats not a bad approach but having delayed on a schefule they set is a sin. Its like they already put a date and then they will change their mind is big red flag. But also people must realize that this is depend on team decision too.

Of course there are always a new token and coin and some old ones have been died due to investors left and finding new ones. I know that is not a good approach but reality speak that a project can die anytime and disappear anytime. Especially now that a lot of projects have been doing defi hype.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin future
« on: October 01, 2020, 07:36:39 AM »
What is the expected future of bitcoin. In 2030 OR 2040, it's will go high or low?
Honestly when I read the title I thought there is a paragraph about using future contract but literally a question about furure price of bitcoin. Hehe, thats a long prediction timeline but we all knew that the linger we hold the greater price it would become. Of course not sure and guaranteed but most of the investment hold for a longer time matures.

DeFi tokens / Re: Who is the founder of DeFi?
« on: October 01, 2020, 07:27:47 AM »
I also read earlier that Kane Warwick is believed to be the founder of DeFi projects. Over time, this will become more and more difficult to establish, and it is hardly significant, because DeFi projects do not make a big revolution in cryptocurrency. It's just a new direction in cryptocurrency.
Is this true? Im always hearing but never realized who started the idea of defi. It looks like the credit goes to that guy. I am sure ethlend is the platform that from the start uses the idea of defi and only get copied by massive projects when defi already been trending on the market.

DeFi tokens / Re: DeFi Tokens and Yield Farming Watcher
« on: October 01, 2020, 06:17:36 AM »
I don't know, what's the difference between DeFi and Yield Farming? I thought that Yield Farming was part of the DeFi project, am I wrong? it looks like both of them are now trending topics
Yes it is. Not only yield farming consists of defi but also lending and many more. I think there is a way to expand it and defi space are just started. Maybe OP just sharing the list and legit sites where we could see those list that are potential defi. But its good that yield farming is working best.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: HOMT already distributed.
« on: October 01, 2020, 05:15:18 AM »
I'm waiting from an announcement from team, because right now it's just a dead token, I can't even sell it, let's wait for some good news to bring value to the token.
I dont think they will come back with a good news. Even they are, the price is already a mess. Thats right the price is not even enough for gas and we cant sell it even we wanted too. Hopefully some good bounties come out here on altcointalks. Even on other forum there is not much campaign happening even there is, seems look like a scam again.

I already got more than 4000 HOMT but alas all my homt shows only 7 dollar which don't meet the gas fees of transactions. I wondered which will be happened in homt project?
I received it too. For almost how many months of doing signature and the price value is worth only for gas fee. Well thats unlucky for me on this one. I should have joined dia instead continuong this campaign with them. Anyway thats life find another and move on thats is part of bounty life.

DeFi tokens / Re: What is your favorite Defi token ?
« on: September 30, 2020, 09:18:59 AM »
What is your favorite Defi token ?
To be honest my favorite is binance farming. They may not a defi project but introducing a farming on their site same like what defi projects doing is totally reassuring of profits especially you only hold tokens on your purse and do farming.

Binance / Re: Binance vsUniswap
« on: September 30, 2020, 04:46:19 AM »
I don't think it's fair t compare the two exchanges. Binance by far has higher volume, higher token trading and have been in existence before UNISWAP.
Thats right. Binance is already a top volume exchange and the tie up is not match at all. Uniswap is a dex, while binance cover a major cex competitor. But in fairness the volume a dex almost catch up with it. Means uniswap is really in demand project or market.
