Guys let's talk about trending tokens. Recently , many tokens are thriving and have made their investors some good gains.
which ones are currently trending, and is it too late to invest in them?

Do not look for tokens or coins that are "trending", trends pass, and always look for ones that will stay for years. For example, LTC is one that people do not look at all that much, but do you know what? There have been hundreds of coins and tokens that passed LTC in valuation, and almost all of them went back down, it's still one of the top ranked ones. That doesn't mean that's what I am suggesting, you can pick whatever you want, but just pick one that will be around 10 years later, not something that will go up with a trend and then go down. Thats the most important part of an investment.

I'm not a big fan of meme tokens but they are the trending tokens right now and many of these trending meme tokens are on Solana, it seems the new trend now is meme-based on their respective chain, it looks like we'll have a meme token to represent every chain.
Expect more meme tokens to come out this year, as this is the one being supported by a big numbers of investors.

Until the Bitcoin halving occurs, altcoins will continue to show their positive trend and a bullish market will come in some time. Now, it's not too late to invest because everyone is sure that the ALT Season will still come in the next few months.

As for which coins have great potential, I can answer all altcoins except USDT or stable coins... even on several exchanges displaying meme coins that make impulsive movements... I'm not surprised because the volatility is quite high. But at least buy ETH or SOL so that your portfolio isn't at too much risk.

We are in the bullish season so naturally there will be coins and tokens that will be trending because of their sudden and solid rise in the crypto market. Just recently, I saw how excited are the supporters of BOME as it made its mark significantly in the market. And we also have Solana which did not failed its holders as it made a skyrocketing ascent to the top of the chain. There are more in CMC and you can just inspect on their chart to see how they defied the odds and made them so remarkable. As far as meme tokens can be concerned, I find PEPE, dogwifhat, BONK and MEME to be outstanding and may continue to be gaining strength in 2024. However, one must be careful in dealing with these flashy digital assets as there many of them that are not actually bringing real value but just here because of the generated hypes especially from the people promoting them so make some profits while the iron is hot and drop them when they start to get cold. I'm bullish in Solana and it's not too late to invest in it. They have their own ecosystem and many project launching on it. Also they have their own mobile that can generate tokens inside in their ecosystem. It's not that i'm promoting it but in my opinion you should research this and consider it.

Solana really intrigue me a lot. Just weeks ago, I was amazed to see its price approaching $100 and I though that maybe that would be its ceiling for the time being or at least in 2024...but alas it reached almost $200 as of today and there is even a chance its run can go further. So I am wondering, will it one day gained the $1000K zone? Comparing to Ethereum, SOL has 572 million supply while ETH has only 120 million so based on this fact alone and if adoption of Solana will continue on breakneck speed there is really that potential for it to soon grow even better than ETH. Now, am planning to convert my ETH to SOL...do you think this can be a good move?

What I notice that is becoming trending and noisy now in the market is the coins under Depin and the coins under SOLANA; this is what I often watch on YouTube, and most of these are the AI tokens and also some under Defi games.

Maybe you should try to do your own research so that at least you can witness the coins that have potential in the market at this point in time, I guess.

I just checked the chart of SOL right now and it's currently  186$ and it's ATH is 269$ imagine how much gain you received if you bought it now and it breached it's ATH? In my own analysis, it will go through around 500$ this year and 1000$ or even more in the coming 3 years of bull market. I'm not suggesting you to convert "all" of your ETH to sol but it is nice to consider to let go a portion of it and buy SOL. It's all your decision mate. You financial assets is all in your hands to handle.

Why not look at https://coinmarketcap.com/gainers-losers/ and see which one is trending upward and which coins are going down. Nevertheless, if you are looking for coins to invest just because they are trending, then you might be in for a big surprise as usually those coins after being pump so hard will eventually have to go down.

And you might be late to invest on them as you will be trap inside and the only way for you go get up is to sell at a loss which is not our aim in this market. But if you want to invest on upcoming tokens, there's no problem with it, but you have to research first and invest with due diligence.

New meme coins are out mainly because of the bull run, and a lot of them are trending, but that should not make your get carried away by investing on them, because many of them will not last long in the market. So I expect you to do your own research before investing in any of them so that you don't fall for the pump and dump coin. I don't really know much about the meme coins but don't hold them for long, if you bought ha e have seen good profit, sell of and invest in bitcoin.

       -   There are many tokens that are trending for a short period of time and then quickly become silent because it's just hype that often happens. The silent one is better, but you can see development in their use case, to be honest.

I've seen a lot of people like that, but I don't like them all; there are only a few who have that style where they will drown the community here in the crypto space. Then boom immediately became silent.

SOL is a good token and it is good but also there are many other tokens too which can be also profitable to you if you buy them.
It's up to you, but what I will say is don't just  buy any token without making your research,.you might loss.

Well, you can check regularly in certain exchanges that you may usually use.

But please note, if you see that everything is quite trendy, then you have to be careful. Because usually the hype is almost over. So, when you enter a token that is already trending, it will be very risky. Because we don't know whether the trend can really continue or whether it is already over, so it will continue to fall. IN often happens when someone gets into trending tokens and in the end actually loses their money so much.

I don't believe in tokens that are trending, where tokens that are based on hype, don't really have a long life, and will definitely cause significant losses within days or even hours after the market listing.
