Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Do you still believe in old coins?
« Last post by rizqillah on Today at 04:15:35 PM »
Yes, old coins that have no potential and popularity will slowly die, but old coins that have been in the top 20 coins are still around today. We can invest in old coins, if we want bigger profits we can invest in new coins, but we know the risk of new coins is greater

Take note of top 20 coins on coinmarketcap/coingecko but not all of them are good like meme tokens like Shiba inu its just hype right now but it is not a good investment for the long term it can die in the future because it does not actually have any use unless developers develop a project that can use these token that can burn tokens once you use this token on that project.
There are many coins in the market and many of the coin markets are very old but not all coins can be trusted. Those of us who are involved in crypto currency must have enough knowledge about the correct and old coins in the market.  Coins that have been in the market for a long time as well as coins that are full of potential and coins that can be relied on are old coins but we can keep a list of choices for investment. There are some coins that are seat coins but have been in the market for a long time, I would not put those coins in the list of investment preferences because these coins are not reliable at all. Not only must it be old but also must be reliable then the coin will be right for investment.
It's best to choose the top 10 coins, the majority of which are old and reliable coins. because the rank proves they are in the top position. There are also investors who invest with new coins because they want faster profits. I think everyone has their own considerations

Investing in Cryptocurrency can sometimes make us frustrated, sometimes even stressed, in one day we can lose assets if we invest incorrectly.  Indeed, if we want to be safe, investing in old coins may be safer than investing in new coins.
However, at least once in a lifetime we can experiment with investing in new coins, even though this carries a higher risk.
New coins always rely on hype. If you want to make a quick profit, choose a new coin that is hyped and enter at the right time. but this is quite a big risk. It's best to choose old coins that have a clear reputation, this is safer and reduces the risk of loss

I agree, it’s a kind of dualism. In fairness, it should be noted that investments are also being made in truly technological projects; it’s just that if they grow in price, it’s not like the same memcoins do, and there is a certain paradox for me in this. I think you yourself understand perfectly well that There are powerful and necessary projects in technological terms, but they are not even close in capitalization to the same notorious memcoins.

What you say is one of the biggest problems (I always speak from my point of view) of the cryptocurrency industry. That there are few truly innovative projects but they barely have the capitalization and investment of some memecoin that has just appeared on the market. That's why I try to avoid new "projects" added on CoinGecko and CoinmarketCap, because there are really very few projects that are launched in months and dozens of memecoins daily with many millions of investment. Unfortunately, for many people, quick money takes priority over innovation in the industry, and it's something I can understand, to a certain extent.
It seems to me that this moment can destroy the industry if you look far into the distance. This can develop into something like shares or securities of some enterprises that appear and are stamped to inflate a soap bubble. Well, or something completely extraordinary will happen and all these memcoins and other crap will collapse and normal projects such as the ether of the solanum of the atom, etc. will remain.
Coins that have projects that are useful for users such as ethereum, BNB, Solana, etc. will still exist and last a long time if the team always improves their projects. Meme coins are not a good choice for the long term, but they can provide quick profits in the short term if you buy them at the right time.

Even if you manage to convince someone, you wouldn't achieve anything from that but you will get in trouble in case they make investments in the market without doing any research and lose money, they will blame you because you were the one who convinced them about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

One of my friends has been aware of Bitcoin for a couple of years but he has not invested a single dollar yet. Sometimes he asks me about the price of Bitcoin and he often gets surprised when he hears it (due to volatility). Recently, he was telling me that If I would have invested only $1000, I would have $3000 today. What do you think about it?

To be honest, I always say bro it depends on the market and the demand. But remember one thing you will be in profit only if you have the patience to hold it for a long time and he agrees with me. He plans to buy after the bull run and he want to catch the next season. But as I said, I never convinced him to invest even though he is my closest friend.

« Last post by bhadz on Today at 04:09:46 PM »
tama nga kabayan PUHUNAN talaga ang problema hahaha.

DCA talaga ang pinaka famous now nakikita ko sa lahat na halos ng popular threads , pero  ang hindi nangyari is ang pagpalo pataas ng bitcoin after halving kasi till now waiting pa din tayo ng 80k and above .
sana lang ma attain na natin this 3rd quarter after May at least.

Gambling discussion / Re: Whats your experience with gambling?
« Last post by MUGNIA on Today at 04:08:50 PM »

Hi everyone!

Here, I invite you to share personal stories about your gambling journey — whether you've had big wins, faced losses or just dabble occasionally for fun.
Or maybe you have strange gambling habits  :D

Whether you're a seasoned gambler or a casual player, your experiences are interesting.

I'm just the type of gambler who tries and usually gambles just for entertainment when boredom strikes, and I don't have time to leave the house looking for entertainment, I don't get any big wins but I limit my funds for gambling because I know I never win large amounts

1. Always double-check or triple-check the websites you're going especially when it's a new website.
2. Don't interact with strangers especially those who just sent you a DM out of nowhere.
3. Always be vigilant and don't be gullible. Don't get attracted too easily with huge returns in a project.
4. Make a list of red flags that will help you decide which projects you can invest, and which are scam.
5. Have a selling target especially now that we are in a bull run soon.

These are just some of the things that you can do during the bull run. Some of them aren't directly increase your profits, but that will help you at least secure the profits that you might get during the bull run. Hope it helps. :)

points 2 and 3 often happen on Telegram, they will give high profits that don't even make sense in logic, they will randomly send messages to every Telegram user, therefore beginners are more careful in responding

In my opinion, to face the bull run later, at least we set a target on our parfolio in achieving profits, avoid greed, if you have reached the target, it is better to let go than to zonk  because we don't know the market condition in the future. If it has already reached the target, it would be better to let it go.
I think almost all of us have received messages that come from nowhere, they will immediately explain the reason they sent us the message. I always ignore those who suddenly send messages offering something very tempting.

We really have to be careful, and I also suggest never posting anything about the amount of assets we have, because that might invite irresponsible people to come to us. It's better to enjoy it yourself.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Anonymity - good or bad?
« Last post by jeraldskie11 on Today at 04:05:19 PM »
However, this anonymity has its downsides, it's easy to get scammed.
Yes, that's true in the outside world. But if the person is trying scam other members here in this forum they probably got caught and their account get banned. You should really avoid to make a transaction to person without knowing his identity or a person who is not reputable if you found it in this forum or else you will end up losing money.

Additionally, there are legal concerns, especially regarding taxation. Some countries are even reducing anonymity to prevent tax evasion. What do you think is a good balance between maintaining privacy and reducing potential misuse in the crypto space?
Honestly, even though we don't pay tax for every transactions we made through the blockchain, we still pay for taxes when we groceries or other stuff. So I don't see a concrete reason that we are really doing a tax evasion.
