I see litecoin team didn't have good improve for their projects
I also don't believe litecoin will be more popular than now.
So, Let's wait the team progress.
The last significant updates are from 2017:
• On January 12, 2017, version 0.13.2 was released, it was officially the first cryptocurrency to add official support to SegWit.
• On March 2, 2017, version 0.15.1 was published: the reduction of the transaction fee to 0.00001 LTC for each KB.
• On May 31, 2017, version 0.16.0 was released, it adds full support for native SegWit addresses and the new wallets will be HD wallets by default.
After those updates, there have been a few more during 2021, but very minor updates to some parts of the code, and pending updates for 2022 are similar, just internal code, you can see them at:
