I think you mean your metamask right?
MEW is an excellent alternative, it's open source, they've been working for years without problems, the code is available to everyone and has been tested by millions.

No, I believe MetaMask wallet has been doing well for many users and I don't think that Enkrypt wallet could ever reach the level of success that MetaMask wallets has.

I personally use MetaMask wallet and I have never faced any issue by using that wallet. None of my assets have been hacked anytime.

I believe the information that you shared like MetaMask wallet got hacked isn't accurate and you may try to rectify the information or share the reference link where information about that hack has been shared.

I think he is referring to how his Metamask wallet was hacked and not other Metamask wallet users. Which means nothing bad happened to Metamask wallet generally but just him and which would be as a result of unsafe use of his device that he has the Matamask. Metamask is an online wallet and also not recommended for high amount of coins. One thing I do not like about the wallet is that it has to connect online and can not be used offline.

I think I heard of this wallet some time ago and I never knew then that is an extension of MEW which we know is one of the pioneering wallets established many years ago. If my memory serves me right, MEW was at the center of the ICO boom in 2017-2018 but as time went on many other wallet service providers like Metamask or Trustwallet clobbered their bigger share of the market. I am not yet using Enkrypt so I got no personal experience with it but since it is coming from MEW then I would assume it must be good...and as what I learned on its site it is a multi-chains as well and can be working well for NFTs too and access to Web3 apps. Maybe Enkrypt need to be a little bit aggressive on their marketing strategy so it can get a good share of the available market in the expanding cryptocurrency industry and they should be working with partnerships and collaborations to spread awareness and use.

No currenty clue about what could go wrong,assets was fast fowarded to other wallet and no return instead of contacting suspicous users who deal with that problem as a condition of prepayment. MyEtherWallet doesn't seem to be used by many people anymore. They have now switched to Trust Wallet or Metamask which is already used by many people. Until now I have also left MEW.

It lost its appeal to investors because of the many new wallets coming up in which you can store multi coins this used to be my main wallet but after I discovered XDEFI and Trustwallet I stopped using MyEtherwallet, it used to be a good wallet but investors are now shifting to multi coins wallet that you can bridge to different chain.

Your wallet was hacked by a hacker? That's sad, to lose money to hackers, I hope you find peace with this change. Talking about personal experience, I have not used this wallet before, and after checking the website stats, I came to know that, it does not have so much traffic or downloads, as its new in the market maybe. After searching a bit more I found that it's the advanced wallet of MEW CX as people were using MEW CX before and then migrated to this as it supports multichain tokens has way more features than MEW CX.

But in compared to Metamask, I still think Metamask is better because it has high security, I am not saying Enkrypt is a centralized wallet or risky one, but Metamask has its own reputation. And hacks are not the result of a single side entity's mistake. As you must have clicked or connected your metamask wallet to a vulnerable website and thus your gave access to hackers mistakenly. CMIIW.

I see that the reason they are pushing for this is the promotion that Binance has done for this wallet, as it supports thousands of cryptocurrencies without many complications, but after what happened to Atomic Wallet and the hacking that happened to Trust Wallet, it is a matter of time for a large-scale hack to occur.

When you use the word "old", how old you mean, wallet code is open source and has been updated several times during this year, the last version was about two weeks ago ----> https://github.com/MyEtherWallet/MyEtherWallet/releases/tag/v6.9.5-hotfix.1
If beginners prefer a closed source wallet, we should tell them that this is wrong.

Before you start using other wallets, maybe specify how you store your seeds. How do you usually manage your wallet? On a laptop, a phone? Do you use online cloud storage? If the hacker installed malware on your device, then there is no guarantee that your new wallet is safe from attacks. Many malware have targeted MetaMask users in the last few months or so. If you have a habit of saving your seeds to cloud storage and the hacker has access to that, then it is also pointless to move to other wallets afaik. Maybe try to check your device and make sure it is free from any virus/malware, and try to remember if you did something different before losing your money. CMIIW.
