Title: The ultimate showdown of Privacy coins? Who will be the winner?
Post by: cryptomarcianos on August 10, 2020, 08:32:52 AM
Privacy-preserving protocols are the backbone of blockchain technology, a technology that has promised secure transactions and communication. What are the Privacy-preserving protocols available to blockchain-based technology?

Some projects are still in the research phase, some of them do not even have a token yet. Some of them yet to launch their mainnet, like Concordium its a very interesting project and well researched but could not find much details about the token. Lets make a concrete list of them.

Some of the of the projects I have heard of are :

1. Monero

2. ZCash

3. Concordium

4. Komodo

5. Grin

6. Beam

7. Priate Chain

8. Horizen

9. Particle

10. Tari

11. Verge

12. Ghost

Do you know any more? Did I leave any famous projects? What do you think will happen to our privacy in the coming years?

It's no secret that privacy or security is an important topic in cryptocurrencies today. Neither companies nor individuals want to publish all of their information to a public blockchain that can be arbitrarily read without any restrictions by the government of a country or foreign government. , family member, co-worker or business competitor. I don't know who the winner is but once a company is exposed it's a failure.

Based on brand alone, I think nothing beats the Ghost when it comes to being a privacy coin. Just imagine that you are not even existing and your tracks are invisible...well it can because you are a Ghost and in extension a big fan of John M.

Nothing special with privacy coins, it is just ordinary coins to me. If you want a good investment I prefer to invest ethereum because it has potential altcoin and there will be an event eth 2.0, hopefully will release this year.

Kokodo has been on the space for a long time now but frankly i never thought of it to be a privacy coin, thats a good one but sadly privacy coins have not shown any much positive moves since the recent green markets.

XMR is still my favorite private coin and I consider it as Bitcoin #2.
XMR has a huge community and always stands out with being in the top 20 by market cap, being used by many thanks to its effective anonymity feature. MinerGate has always prioritized mining for XMR, which ensures the decentralization and security of the Monero network.

Those that heard of Bitcoin thought "anonymous", wrong. Monero is what people thought Bitcoin was, the irony

When it comes to the issue of confidentiality and anonymity, then the cryptocurrency here cannot defeat states and their governments. She doesn't have the slightest chance here. States can always apply methods of regulation, and if this is ineffective, then methods of coercion, up to criminal liability. Therefore, the current coins of anonymity will either gradually abolish the high level of anonymity, or go into the shadows. But this will mean that they will not be present on most exchanges and will be more used by citizens in settlements among themselves.
