As I am writing this, it is just hours before the end of 2021 and the official start of 2022. I am not so sure what are the things that are in store for all of us in this new year and all we can do is hope and wish that things can get better especially in our fight against the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
So far, the pandemic has not affected that much on cryptocurrency and in fact the way I am seeing it is that it has actually helped a lot as more and more people got interested with the many benefits cryptocurrency is offering.
Right now, countries like China, India and Russia -- representing very big markets for cryptocurrency -- are not yet fully opened for cryptocurrency. As to China, I think it is really hopeless to expect that it will be opening its country soon even just for Bitcoin (though many Chinese are still into crypto maybe away from the eyes of the government). However, with India, I am expecting that it will be opening some parts of the market to cryptocurrency but expect that there will be strict regulations. As to Russia, maybe within the next 5 years there will be developments on cryptocurrency.
There can be smaller countries that can open their doors to cryptocurrency brought about by the continuing growth of the Bitcoin. What are the countries you think will be opening up for cryptocurrency in 2022?

nothing confirmed yet if these countries will be opened on bitcoin and crypto in 2021 and that they wont fight it anymore , but i hope that crypto will find a way to enter these countries like you mentioned , russia , china and usa because those are the big heads in the world and a move from them can effect the field so much ..

I'm not sure about the countries that will open the doors for Bitcoin or crypto rather. Because there are a lot of possibilities that they will open now and close later. The country that can bear the pressure of volatile investment will support crypto. The country that are not ready for new volatile investment will remain close the door. As far as I know China doesn't want to legalize crypto even this days.

Every country will be open for cryptocurrency very soon. Most of the big company wants to invest in cryptocurrency and many already thinking about it. I think there will be some regulation problem for some time but this won't prevent mass adoption.

I don't think any of these big economy will open up to Bitcoin or Crypto, it would be a gradual change and it is people that would open up to it and when the large population is for something there is nothing they can do, people of Venezuela, Iran and Nigeria realise this and they make the shift to Cypto this is what would happen, Crypto makes Government to lose control over our finances and they don't want this to happen

My friend once told me that Singapore, Switzerland, Malta, the United States and Japan are countries that are a haven for Bitcoin. In these countries Bitcoin is well received. I have also heard the news that India and China are countries that cannot accept Bitcoin ?! But is it true that Russia also has not fully accepted this Bitcoin Mate, even though I see that the Russian public really welcomes the existence of this Cryptocurrency.

Most of the countries are trying to permit bitcoin as their transactions system. Many gigantic institutions and organization trying to improve their internal system with cryptocurrencies transactions systems. Paypal and Apple pay already permitted bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies in their transactions.

Slowly but surely, I believe that gradually many countries will accept crypto. During a pandemic, human life slowly begins to turn online and this change will carry over until the pandemic ends. I think this change will create an opening for crypto to become legal as a means of payment in society as well as across countries.

Wikipedia has a lot of information about the list of countries that accept cryptocyrrency for investment or for payment, I think developing countries have thought about adopting crypto for the transaction system, but there are still obstacles such as anonymous transactions on various DEX exchanges.

From the long-heralded and -awaited arrival of institutional crypto adoption, to the acceleration of digital currency and payments spurred on by the pandemic, to greater regulatory clarity in key jurisdictions like the U.S., 2020 has proven, in my view, to be crypto’s best year yet.

As far as my personal analysis is concerned, most of the big countries including the ones you named are in the process of starting their policies regarding cryptocurrencies and once implemented it will pave way for masses to start buying selling crypto locally.

I think crypto is now a need of our life everyone wants to use this currency because its Growing very fast that is why many of countries are think about to start making law on crypto. I think it is very hard to tell for now if which country will be open for Bitcoin and cryptocurrency transactions in 2021, But I still positive that more countries will be joining the crypto bandwagon within this year but in terms of the number I'm not sure about.
I believe that the most common reason why some countries are still uncertain about the crypto industry because until now there is no clear regulation on how to adopt it and thats what I think.

It seems to me that in 2021 there will be no special changes, bitcoin will remain in the shadows, but all I can say is that in 2020, the institutionals have pump bitcoin, and such people know more than we do, and most likely will continue the bull run in 2021.

BTC price approximate $30000 because of some institutional investor invest in this platform. Now every one will be careful about crypto. Everybody will think about it and every country will open or permit crypto currency as soon as possible. Most of the countries high authority regarding this issue are discussing about it and they address positive side of this.

I am not optimistic that countries will be open to cryptocurrencies by 2021. Although the people of many countries want it, the government is not opening it up. They think the government will not control the economy if they open up cryptocurrencies; So they don't want to do it. we at Pakistan. fighting a ware with Govt to legalize cryptocurrency which they illegally made it illegal without any reason and excuses.. and recently our Country's biggest courst's chief justice ordered the govt to remove all the bans on crypto and release all the persons who were arrested for using bitcoin or mining.
that is not done yet. but we are very hopeful that govt will make crypto currency legal in 2021 after supreme court's orders.

The big companies like China, Russia, India and other should allow and have regulation for crypto.
Although several time we read negative issue crypto has been banned at several countries but It won't have effect for crypto market. Just a little and will go on again.
Crypto will exist and struggle to against negative issue.

In crypo, anything can happen, and there may be some countries that are eyeing Elsalvido idea or experiment, hopefully, we may see others countries emulating the El salvido's Bitcoin adoptions. I am still watching.

Currently, those countries still don't legalize cryptocurrency to be used or traded, or mined in their countries. Moreover, in CHina and India, the regulations are more strict again. IN Russia, there is better progress where they are interested to use BItcoin adoption.
But not sure that this good news will continue because Russia commonly will change their news imediately.
Btw, although cryptocurrencies are still forbidden in those countries, most of their ctizens are still related to crypt industry, bigger.

Some countries may definitely accept cryptocurrency trading and of course the country also understands the risks involved and that will provide a good value for the strength of the country's tax revenues.

I don't think it will be very soon, it needs much time for every country to accept crypto. There are still many countries that don't want to adopt crypto, some of them even ban crypto because of many bad issues related to crypto. We cannot expect anything from the countries that still ban crypto, they have no good understanding of the future technology in currency.
