A very scary title, but true.It was announced that a hacker found and reported a bug that put 9 billion MATICs on the network at risk. The hacker was given a $2.2 million bounty.
Another group of hackers managed to steal $1.4 million MATIC.Using the nickname "Leon Spacewalker" on GitHub, the hacker reported a bug in the Polygon smart contract to Polygon employees on December 3rd. The bug has been fully fixed by the protocol engineers as of December 5th

Currently very often something like this happens, I think the hackers are planning to try the security system in that protocol and they managed to see the loopholes, hopefully this doesn't happen in the future and the engineers soon find bugs that can harm the matic protocol in the future.

very worrying .. polygon security that is easy to exploit. I still believe in the old top coins which have a more secure security system

It's really sad if that happens because the value is very large when hacked and it looks like this Polygon does give a bad value but it looks like Polygon has bounced back.
But the hacker was given a $2.2 million bounty and this is really very extraordinary and the value of the bounty is very large and this is very reasonable and that's very good thank you for what happened.

20 million USD is very large and it is proper that 2 million USD is a gift for bounty hunters by knowing the bugs in the Polygon Matic network and I am sure that Polygon Matic can run smoothly and get more security now in its Smartcontracts.
I believe and hope that this Polygon Matic will not have another drama like this because I see that Polygon Matic is a coin that already has a very large market cap and a large community.
