Amulet Protocol confirms strategic partnership with Project Serum as they continue to BUIDL on Solana

Amulet and Serum are delighted to announce their official strategic partnership, strengthening ties to the Solana ecosystem.

Simple, reliable cover for Web3 meets faster, cheaper and more powerful DeFi as Amulet and Serum announce their official partnership.

Amulet will launch on the mainnet at the end of September, initially onto the Solana blockchain before moving on to become a true multi-chain cover protection solution. Serum is a protocol and ecosystem that brings unprecedented speed and low transaction costs to decentralized finance.

Serum was built on the Solana blockchain and is completely permissionless. Serum observed the growth of DeFi over the last couple of years, particularly the growth of DEXes on Ethereum, and noticed limitations for users and developers due to the extortionate gas fees and slow transactions. As a result, Serum was born to solve these issues and to improve issues of centralization, capital inefficiency and liquidity segmentations.

Launching as one of the first major open-source projects on Solana, Serum has a variety of offerings:

*  Serum Core – Asset Agnostic order book for matching any Solana-based trading product. Serum’s backend matching engine is perfect for both financial and non-financial instruments.

*  True Composability – Serum’s architecture makes it possible for a diverse range of applications and participants to share middleware in one place.

*  Developer Ecosystem and Services – Serum offers a decentralized on-chain order matching service giving full control to developers. Serum DEX also offers a greater source of pooled liquidity.

*  Serum Token (SRM) – SRM is the utility and the governance of the Serum ecosystem and is fully integrated to benefit from buy/burn of fees.

*  Solana Speeds and Costs – Like Amulet, Serum uses Solana due to the extremely low transaction costs and the speed of the platform.

Amulet has been keeping a close eye on Serum since their August 2020 launch and the success of the project encouraged us to embark on our own journey.

Like Serum, Amulet was watching the growth of DeFi, and later, DeFi protection options throughout 2020 while also keeping a close eye on the Solana ecosystem.

The low fees and high speeds encouraged Amulet to take their learnings from others and create the first DeFi cover protection protocol for Rust-based ecosystems. Amulet has also redefined the cover protection model with their unique PCUV (Protocol Controlled Underwriting Value) solution.

Both companies wanted to announce this partnership as they share the same ultimate vision for the industry – to drive to global mass adoption of web3 and DeFi.

This partnership announcement is the catalyst to working on that vision together. Both companies will unite in collaborating against DeFi exploits, raising the profile of the Solana ecosystem and BUIDLing a strong future for the entire industry.

“I’ve been wanting to announce this partnership since before we even announced Amulet! I’ve been closely following Project Serum for many months and now leading to years. The team are incredibly experienced and passionate, and we feel that we could work together on a variety of activities to drive DeFi mass adoption, even during these complicated times!” Rupert Barksfield, Project Lead, Amulet

Amulet Protocol and Kudelski Security announce new strategic relationship to tighten security within web3

Protecting assets has existed since before records began. As long as items or possessions have existed, there has also been the need to ensure that they are safe. Now, two companies with a heavy focus on security have confirmed their official partnership, Amulet Protocol and Kudelski Security.

Designed during the DeFi boom of 2020, Amulet has been observing the various hacks and exploits over recent months and years and decided to take significant action with their project launch. Due to launch in September on the Solana blockchain, Amulet Protocol offers simple and reliable cover for everyone within web3.

Amulet will initially provide smart contract vulnerability and stablecoin depeg cover to protect users that hold crypto assets within specific protocols. Due to the innovation and power of Rust-based ecosystems, Amulet will move towards providing protection options for NFTs, GameFi and across the Metaverse.

Kudelski Security is a leading cybersecurity company with one major goal – to disrupt the cybersecurity status quo. Experts within the field, Kudelski provides support enhancements towards cyber confidence, threat resilience and data protection.

As a result of this relationship, Kudelski has already started advising Amulet and are working behind the scenes to ensure that Amulet’s product security is market ready and robust. Kudelski Security and Amulet are working together right now on auditing the smart contracts. Work will continue over the coming months and years to ensure that protection is at the forefront and any potential exploiters are deterred.

Kudelski Security understand the power of blockchain technology and have spent the last few years becoming experts within this industry. The cybersecurity giants maintain over 400 technical, product and security industry certifications and are one of the most trusted firms within the space.

“This partnership is incredibly important and exciting for the Amulet team. As we assess our options pre-launch, we understand how significant it is to have a powerful, exploit-deterring and trusting product. Kudelski Security is a company that we know very well, and we’ve developed an element of trust built on their passion towards protecting assets and users. We love working with anyone who wants to destroy malicious attacks as much as we do!” Rupert Barksfield, Project Lead, Amulet Protocol

About Amulet:

Amulet is a decentralized cover protocol built for the Rust-based ecosystem, starting with the Solana blockchain. Amulet has designed an innovative and open cover protection model, which not only effectively addresses the common challenges of existing decentralized cover protocols, but also creates a new paradigm shift for the whole insurance sector.

Amulet is creating the industry’s first Protocol-Controlled Underwriting (PCU) approach, in which Amulet will build up its own underwriting capabilities and introduce a claim structure involving a unique Yield Backed Claim (YBC) method. This is a significant deviation from the incumbent cover models of renting underwriting capability from capital providers to a more sustainable underwriting and claim structure controlled by the protocol. The vision of Amulet is to offer simple, reliable cover for everyone in Web3. With the addition of Amulet, users in the entire Rust-based ecosystem will gain access to a new way to hedge various risks with protection product offerings.

Social Media Report – July 2022

Amulet Protocol was announced as a project in April 2022. We have been working on growing our social channels organically and here is our lowdown of what went on during the month of July.

Amulet is tweeting daily and our community use Discord as their main form of communication. We also have a Telegram Announcement channel and YouTube channel which aren’t pushed as much but content is flowing.

Access our Twitter here:  https://twitter.com/AmuletProtocol

Join our Discord server here: https://discord.gg/uVnYPMB9DS

Follow our Telegram Announcements: https://t.me/amulet_announcement

Subscribe to our YouTube channel here: www.youtube.com/channel/UCHSHZVTy0c3RcKT9-HdOtjA

Ibn July, we also started publishing our news on Linkedin, you can follow our Linkedin company profile here: https://www.linkedin.com/company/amuletprotocol/

July highlights:

All the social media activity is still organic. We haven’t spent money on boosting our social networks and we also haven’t created any competitions or incentives to encourage users. We will be introducing this in August, ahead of our testnet launch and we have already set up specific elements to try and keep the followers gained from this to be genuine and real.

*  Month to month increase on all parameters: Tweets sent, Twitter followers gained, Tweet impressions, Twitter mentions and Verified
    Discord Members.

*  Twitter Mentions had an astonishing increase in July (highly likely due to external AMAs) of 330.1% from the previous month.

*  Followers on Twitter have also seen a consistent increase from the previous month of 17.2%

*  We actually gained more followers than the statistics suggest, we also noticed that followers were lost, through deleted accounts or
    Twitter removing accounts.

We implemented a strategy to improve the Discord experience for the Amu-Nation.

Twitter July highlights:

Our “Most Successful” Tweet of July was our recent partnership announcement with Port Finance. It was the most engaged Tweet of the month:

Discord July Updates:

We’ve been working really hard to make Discord the true home of the Amu-Nation 🧿

Updates include:

*  Increase in language channels. Chats are now available in Chinese, Korean, Polish, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, Ukrainian and
   Vietnamese.

*  Introduction of “Community Champions” as we prepare to release our community incentive program

*  Installation of bots to make life easier: Invite tracking, Twitter bot, Solana price bot, Ticket system (more to come!)

Our bi-weekly AMA’s are also improving on numbers. We had our record attendance on July 19th with over 25 listeners at one point. We’ve never incentivised or created a competition for our AMAs. Although the number is fairly moderate, we know that all the listeners are genuinely interested in Amulet Protocol.

Amulet forms an official partnership with Taksh, a cross-chain gamified yield aggregator using Solana to BUIDL

Amulet Protocol 👉 https://amulet.org/
and Taksh 👉 https://www.taksh.xyz/
are pleased to confirm their strategic partnership focused on protecting users against exploits.

Amulet has confirmed its official partnership with Taksh, a cross-chain gamified yield aggregator on Solana.

Taksh is a Sanskrit word meaning “to invent” with an additional definition being “a great champion”. The extraordinary team behind their project are “inventing” on the Solana blockchain (like Amulet), taking advantage of its fast transaction speeds and low gas fee rates. Understanding that even great champions need protection, Taksh were keen to partner with Amulet with a focus on security and the safety of their users.

Both projects are united in their vision of mass adoption of DeFi and Web3. Taksh recognizes that easy to track and easy-to-leverage yield is critical for this to become a reality.

Yield Aggregators have gone a long way since their introduction to the space but there are still problems that need to be rectified. As of today, aggregators do not diversify yield sources, they do not currently support cross-chain deposits, there is a lack of gamification and fail to leverage all DeFi strategies. Taksh has been born to combat these issues.

Taksh is built on Solana with available cross-chain technology and best yield strategies to generate higher yields for its users. At the same time, Taksh gamifies user participation through weekly raffles where part of the yield protocol generated is given away as a prize. An opportunity to win additional yield provides an exciting incentive for anyone who wishes to use their platform.

Amulet is a DeFi insurance protocol for Rust-based ecosystems and is also being built on the Solana blockchain. The vision for Amulet is simple – providing reliable insurance for everyone in web3.

With a mainnet launch scheduled for September, Amulet will strive to protect as many users as possible as they redefine the insurance industry with the PCUV (Protocol Controlled Underwriting Value) model. Launching initially with smart contract vulnerability and stablecoin depeg cover, Amulet will look at opportunities to protect users across the whole metaverse.

Both projects have formed their official partnership to collaborate and develop together on Solana while also looking at how Taksh users can be protected by Amulet at launch. Being able to provide additional security options is vital for Taksh users to have peace of mind with their activities. More information will be announced about this in due course.

Both projects will continue to support each other until then and look at solutions to enable overall growth within the industry.

“We are really excited about our partnership with Taksh. The team behind the project is extraordinarily talented, achieving things at young ages that many would never achieve in a lifetime. We are keen to work with projects that offer gamification as we see the potential in user experience and bridging that gap between those moving away from web2 and into web3. Projects like Taksh provide an environment where there could be a massive influx of users in a short space of time, we wanted to partner with them now so that we can continue to work behind the scenes to ensure the best solution for protecting these users.”

August Highlights:

August has been a solid month of growth from start to finish. Organic growth has always been fundamental to the beginning of our journey and we set ourselves a target to hit 2k in followers for both Discord and Twitter for August.

Before the launch of the AmuNation app, we had been doing very well. We managed to achieve that target on the 20th August and with the help of external AMAs and community building, we gained 1k new followers in less than 2 weeks.

As part of this, we created a competition for our community to design the banner. Check out the winners:

👆Congrats to @dimajo26 who won our contest for banner design (voted by community) 🥇
Winning: 1 $SOL 💰

👆And a second winner 🥇 We were so impressed with the contributions, we also picked this effort to win the ‘chosen by the team’ special award 🚀 We love this design of @overcryptocal and @MET4BE4R 🧿
Thank you to the AmuNation for helping us reach 2k, here’s to the next 2k!

Following on from this, we launched our AmuNation app to our community on Tuesday 30th August. We decided to gamify our bounty campaign by creating competition. We also felt this was the best way to deliver an incredible campaign to our community while reducing the number of fakes and robots that exist. So far, we’ve had an excellent response and this has seen our statistics grow rapidly.

The stats below were accurate as of 8:00am CEST on September 1st 2022. By the time this has been written, the figures have also increased in their hundreds.

Amulet Protocol has seen massive growth within the month of August:

*  Twitter Followers have increased by 267.3%

*  That equates to 4211 new followers!

*  Twitter Impressions have increased by 43.9% from the previous month

*  The amount of mentions we’ve received on Twitter has increased by 923.3%

*  Our Discord verified members have grown by 294.1%

Along with this, our Telegram announcement channel and Linkedin has seen impressive growth figures despite being lower on priorities for exposure.

Our Twitter engagement has been consistent and high throughout the month of August. Before the bounty campaign, we had an organic Twitter engagement rate of 15-18% (Marketers usually expect between 0.5-1%).

*****************************************************************************************

Discord Updates:

The AmuNation is getting stronger and stronger each day. New community members are joining at a regular pace (excellerated in last 2 days but, like Twitter, the steady growth had been making strands beforehand. The introduction of Martin as Head of Community and introduction of our first roles has seen the team struggle to keep up with all the dedicated contributions that are flying in.

There’s always a conversation flowing and not only in English. We create language channels when the requests come in. We’re seeing that this tactic has created the environment we want, a place for everyone in web3. We expect to add another 4 languages to the server in the next few days.

With the introduction of games night, competitions for banners, GIF requests from the team, AMAs, we’re seeing high engagement within our server and we’ve got some really dedicated community champions helping us to provide the best experience.

This community effort came to light in the middle of August. As our server was gaining popularity, spammers and scammers came to exploit. We were able to deal with this incredibly quickly and removed all the “bad eggs” in a smooth fashion with the help of our community. We’ve also been able to introduce a channel to report anything suspicious.

We’ve also added ourselves onto the Discord directory and we’re pending approval to be a part of the Discord community program.

Our last bi-weekly AMA (no rewards attached) saw 69 attendees for the live event. Following on from that, 280 community members competed in our games night that same evening. We’re really happy to see record attendances every single week since we started.

Current Followers (as of 8am CEST 01/09/22)

Current Twitter Followers: 5786 (267.3% increase from July report)

Current Verified Discord Members: 5952 (294.1% increase from July report)

Amulet & AmuNation.

Good day to all, and today I would like to tell you what is an Amulet and what is the AmuNation App.
To begin with, I would like to introduce you to the investors and partners of the project.

Amulet Social Media Report.

Amulet Protocol was announced as a project in April 2022. They have been working on growing our social channels organically and here is our lowdown of what went on during the month of August.
Amulet is tweeting daily and our community use Discord as their main form of communication. On August 30th, Amulet has launched the AmuNation app, our fun bounty campaign to engage our community through daily rewards and tasks.

What is Amulet?

Amulet is a decentralized risk protection protocol for the Rust-based ecosystem initially deployed on Solana.

What is PCU?

Amulet aims to build reserves that are controlled by the protocol with PCU, rather than renting capital from stakers as its primary underwriting source. Amulet believes this new model has the potential to scale sustainably.

Whats kinds of risks does Amulet cover?

Smart contract exploits, stablecoin de-pegs, slashing, and more to come (NFT, Metaverse, and wallet protection currently in development).

AmuNation.

Amulet Protocol was announced in April 2022 with our solution to provide simple, reliable cover for everyone in web3. The response has been exceptional and we’ve watched as the AmuNation (our community) has grown over the last couple of months. As a community-focused protocol, we’ve been working really hard behind the scenes to create a bounty experience unlike any other. We’re excited to launch our AmuNation App, a daily task/challenge application that helps you earn AmuPoints and turns our community building into a game. As this is a different concept, we’ve created this blog to help you understand what to do and how to get rewarded for all your work!
Access the App here: ht tps://amunation.amulet.org/

What is the AmuNation App?

AmuNation App is our application for the AmuNation (our dedicated community) to make it fun and appealing to promote our project while being rewarded with AmuPoints that can be collected and exchanged for eye-watering rewards. We believe this is the most cooperative way to build a community while also promoting the importance of Amulet Protocol and the impact it can have on the whole DeFi and Web3 industry. Our gamified community app has levels leading up to the most-rewarding Level 5. Each day, our community can return to the AmuNation App to complete simple tasks which will be rewarded with AmuPoints. The more points earned, the quicker you can level up. Each level within the app has its own rewards and the top 3 levels unlock incredible Amulet NFTs which have value and also increases the status of the community member. Our NFTs enable great perks and secures your place in the heart of the AmuNation. In simple, our AmuNation app is a bounty app that truly rewards the dedication of the hard work undertaken by the user.

Thank you so much for your attention, I hope I was able to explain the project in an accessible way.

With the addition of Amulet, users in the entire Rust-based ecosystem will gain access to a new way to hedge various risks with insurance product offerings.

The Amulet Governance Token ($AMT) will allow its user base to propose and vote on community proposals. These include, but are not limited to, future distributions of rewards, legality of claims, endowment requirements, list of new products, buyout thresholds, and changes to future protocol targets.

What is the AmuBot?

This is a sophisticated piece of technology, only the BEST for the AmuNation. AmuBot is our robot on Discord that has been built to track and analyse activity. The AmuBot has the ability to count each message that you send within Discord and automatically rewards once you have achieved a milestone.

It simply relays this information back to the AmuNation app and ensures that you are definitely rewarded for your activity so that you can earn the AmuPoints and exchange for the rewards. It’s effortless and fun to earn your role, NFT or additional perk.

How do AmuPoints and AmuNation Levels work?

Fairness is at the front of our community reward program. We want to ensure that people are completing the tasks themselves and that they are fairly rewarded for their hard work.

As a result, we’ve implemented a points and level system. It’s designed to bring out that competitive streak deep inside of you.

The more tasks you complete, the more AmuPoints that you can earn. The more AmuPoints earned, the higher level you achieve, the higher level, the bigger rewards. It’s as simple as that!

As of the launch of the app, we currently have 5 levels that can be achieved:

AmuNation Newbie: The starting point for the AmuNation

AmuNation Beginner: Excellent start, Whitelist!

AmuNation Student: Getting better, Airdrop time!

AmuNation Expert: Wow, doing awesome, NFT Bronze!

AmuNation Master: Nearly a champ! NFT Silver!

AmuNation Mythical: AmuLegend! NFT Gold! Ultimate Rewards!

The most dedicated AmuNation members will receive the highest accolade for their true grit and determination in promoting Amulet Protocol to the max!

Happy Amu-Versary – One week since launching the AmuNation app

It’s been one week since we introduced our long-awaited bounty campaign – The AmuNation App.

At Amulet, we’ve always taken gamification very seriously and believe it is vital within web3. We didn’t want to launch “any old campaign”, we wanted something that our community could embrace and we’ve been ecstatic with the results so far.

The AmuNation app is a fun and engaging way to earn rewards while promoting our protocol. Tasks are updated regularly and AmuPoints can be earnt from a variety of tasks which could unlock some valuable perks such as NFTs. There’s also opportunities to try your luck and spin to win a jackpot every day.

Happy Amu-versary!

Members of the AmuNation will have received this email starting from today:

The OG’s will be celebrating their 1st week Amu-versary and we wanted to give you a low down as to how things are going!

Things to Note in the last 7 days:

Discord channel:

We’ve been astonished at the level of commitment from the AmuNation since launching this campaign. We’ve tried to accommodate the fast growth by incorporating a channel into our Discord dedicated to helping with queries specifically for the app.

To access it, enter our Discord: discord.gg/AmuletProtocol

The Team, Mods, Community Champions and Early Contributors are always available to help. You’ll also notice that our whole community is willing to help, if someone knows the answer, you’ll get the advice you need!

Fairness is priority:

The AmuNation exits because we believe in fairness and equality. We want to stop malicious violations within web3 and protect peoples assets. We are also very aware that people may try and cheat our campaign when the majority are competing fairly.

We are regularly checking the activity and the rewards earned. Many will have noticed that we had a contiguency in place if users abused the system and we were able to successfully identify and remove these “bad players” earlier in the week. If you feel that you have been wrongly affected, you can contact the team on Discord via #team-contact-request and we will be sure to action or provide clarity.

We will continue to monitor throughout this campaign.

The Stats:

This is the exciting part of this article, how well is the AmuNation campaign going? Our rapid community growth is evident but let’s delve into the geeky bit – the numbers!

In the week since launch:

*  Total Registered onto App: 25,184

*  Referral Rate per user: 11.22

*  Total actions completed: 178,576

*  Total actions per user: 12.57

*  Unique Jackpot players: 8,671

*  NFT rewards given: 41

*  Average AmuPoints per user: 646.42

*  Total Jackpot winners: 6160

These figures are amazing! A huge thank you from the whole team.

LFG! AmuNation

Why are you called Amulet?

An Amulet is a good luck charm. 🧿 It is an object believed to bring protection upon its possessor. We will protect those that hold cover through Amulet. This is why our logo is a circle and angle, the circle is the coin and the angle is the shield.

What is DeFi Insurance?

DeFi stands for decentralized finance. This means that we are not like a traditional centralized company owned by a few people that make all the decisions. but rather we want the protocol to be owned by all of its token holders, who come together for big decisions such as claim payouts. This makes us a community-focused project. This means that we will be open and transparent from day one.

What is a Protocol?

Protocols are basic sets of rules that allow data to be shared between computers. Our vision is to have a product owned and run by the community with full autonomy.

What are Rust ecosystems?

Rust is a programming language that is slightly more complicated and some would say provides a litte more control than solidity, the programming language that underpins Ethereum. The Rust ecosystem includes blockchains but isnt limited to: Solana, Terra, Near, Cosmos & Polkadot.

Why Solana?

Two reason:

1) Solana has been growing at 5x the rate of the Ethereum system at the same stage in its lifecycle, and as there were no native insurance protocols built on Solana for Solana it seemed like an awesome opportunity to be the first, along with that we loved the products and the ecosystem that had already been developed.

2) Solana operates a Proof Of Stake (this is how their blockchain works) chain and we run one of the validators for this chain that is core to our unique structure

Can you only insure things on built on Solana?

No, we can insure any protocol on any chain, but given that initially you have to pay in tokens native to the Solana ecosystem it is more likely that most of our customers will also be in Solana. Equally the majority of our deal flow is coming from Solana protocols wanting to insure their customers.

What is Smart contract risk?

When you stake /invest on protocols in the Defi space then your tokens are no longer in your wallet but rather in theirs. These are prime pickings for hackers who will try and exploit the smart contracts that these protocols have built in order to steal those assets.

What is Stable Coin de-peg risk?

Not all stable coins are built the same, some are backed 1:1 with the underlying currency, some are leveraged and some are algorithmic. When these mechanisms break or faulter the token will 'de peg' from the underlying asset. We insure for this event.

I hope this helps a lot of people for now, as mentioned we will bring more educational content over the coming weeks and months!

Amulet Explains: What is an NFT?

NFTs have exploded in popularity in recent times. Digital assets are being sold for millions around the world, and the term NFT is on everyone’s lips. But what exactly is an NFT? Are they the same as cryptocurrencies? Let’s find out why this type of digital asset has become so popular and what you can do to protect your digital assets.

WHAT IS AN NFT?

A non-fungible token (NFT) is a unique digital asset that can be traded online. NFTs are frequently traded with cryptocurrency and are typically encoded with the same software as many of the world’s most prevalent cryptocurrencies, highlighting the relationship between the two.

They first appeared in 2014, but NFTs have only recently captured the global imagination due to some of the eye-watering price tags associated with some purchases. For instance, a 2021 piece by Pak called The Merge sold for $91 million.

An NFT is usually one of a kind or at least one of a very limited run. They all come with identifying codes, which is what makes them unique. This posits NFTs in stark contrast to most digital creations, which are essentially infinite in supply. Even if you don’t own an NFT, you can still view it online, which leads to the question – why would anyone be willing to pay so much money for a digital item that everyone else can view for free?

It all comes down to ownership. When you buy an NFT, it is yours and yours alone. Just like buying an original piece of artwork, you have proof of authenticity that lies in the built-in authentication. For example, crypto entrepreneur Sina Estavi paid $2.9 million for Jack Dorsey’s first-ever tweet. He now owns a piece of digital history that can never be replicated, which is essentially the point of paying high sums of money for digital assets in the first instance.

ARE NFTS THE SAME AS CRYPTOCURRENCIES?

There are similarities between NFTs and cryptocurrencies, but they’re not the same, and the clue is in the name. Cryptocurrencies are fungible, meaning they can be exchanged for one another. For example, one Bitcoin will always be worth one Bitcoin. This is what makes cryptocurrency a trusted means of conducting blockchain transactions. On the other hand, NFTs are non-fungible, meaning they all have a unique digital signature, and they cannot be exchanged as equal to one another.

HOW DO NFTS WORK?

NFTs exist on a distributed public ledger called a blockchain. Most NFTs exist on the Ethereum blockchain, but they are supported elsewhere, too. They come in many forms, but it’s common to see NFTs in the form of digital art, GIFs, videos, virtual avatars, video game skins, and even music. The best way to understand NFTs is to consider them as collectables, only that they’re digital and not physical.

When they emerged in 2014, NFTs presented artists with a unique opportunity to earn money for their creations. Instead of relying on auction houses and galleries, people now have the opportunity to sell their digital creations online via a process that ensures their authenticity and guarantees payment.

PROTECT YOUR NFTS

When you buy an NFT, you need to make sure it is protected from potential cybercriminals and currently there aren’t many options. Amulet is a DeFi cover protocol for the Rust-based ecosystem, with initial deployment on Solana. In the future, we will protect a broad range of digital assets through our cover options, including against smart contract vulnerabilities and stablecoin depeg events and, also in the future, NFTs. Find out more about how our coverage works, and follow us on Twitter or chat to us on Discord to keep up with our latest developments relating to Web3 protection.

About the Bounty

Amulet is the first insurance protocol for the Rust ecosystem, starting with Solana. They are built as a flexible protocol enabling them to provide many different type of insurance products. Some of their initial insurance products are:

*  Smart Contract Risk

*  Stablecoin de-peg Risk

Amulet ( https://amulet.org/ ) -  has designed an innovative and open insurance model, which not only effectively addresses the common challenges of existing decentralized insurance protocols, but also creates a new paradigm shift for the whole insurance sector.

What is unique about Amulet

All traditional and DeFi insurance  protocols attack staked / invested funds in order to pay out claims, this diminishes returns and impacts relationships creating an unsustainable model. Amulets unique structure enables them to pay out claims without impacting staked capital.

Enabled by Solana they have designed Protocol-Controlled Underwriting (PCU).

The PCUutilses a proof of stake validator and other methods to generate yields. These Yields are tokenised into their future yield pool creating layers of protection between a claim and your staked assets. Meaning they can always payout claims whilst generating significant yields for stakers.

Current state

Their testnet is functional, but not very intuitive. They have docs, etc., in place but need an extra community review.

Bounty goals

*  Review their documentation, analyze their user flows and interaction.

*  The ultimate aims for Amulet is to make it easy for users to understand the platform and its benefits, and the number of clicks required to purchase, without compromising on use experience.

The result of this bounty will be included in their next release.

Your Goal: Conduct a thorough UI/UX review for Amulet that matches this example - https://yashbhardwaj.notion.site/MeanFi-UX-0db7bf5929504f058d5ab7be8311fdfc in quality. You're welcome to complete this review individually or in teams of 2. Bounties will be split among team members.

Amulet – Secure Code Review from Kudelski

Amulet Protocol is due to launch on the mainnet very shortly and we’re delighted to provide the report from Kudelski Security publically.

This report is part of our ongoing relationship with Kudelski, more information can be found here:
https://amulet.org/blog/amulet-protocol-and-kudelski-security-announce-new-strategic-relationship-to-tighten-security-within-web3/

Following our successful AmuNation app campaign and TestNet, this is the next stage of our progress before our protocol is fully live. Amulet is a DeFi cover protocol built on Rust based ecosystems starting with Solana. We will provide simple, reliable cover options for everyone in web3 and therefore, it is imperative that we needed to make sure our solution is market ready.

This report from Kudelski, the first of several audits, is ready and allows us to feel confident that our code and security is where it should be for launch.

****************************************

Overview:

Kudelski Security performed a secure code assessment on the Amulet Protocol smart contract system.

The assessment was conducted remotely by the Kudelski Security Team. The source code review took place from 7/14 – 8/11, and focused on the following objectives:

*  Provide the customer with an assessment of their overall security posture and any risks discovered within the environment during the engagement.

*  To provide a professional opinion on code maturity, adequacy, and efficiency of the security measures in place.

*  To identify potential issues and include improvement recommendations based on the results of our review and tests.

Key Findings:

The issues found in the code were LOW or INFORMATIONAL findings. This shows that the overall risk profile of the application at the time of this assessment is low.The following are the major themes and issues identified during the testing period. These, along with other items, within the findings section, should be prioritized for remediation to reduce the risk they pose.

Safe math was used often, but should be used more consistently throughout the code to prevent potential vulnerabilities from being introduced in future updates.

Insurance policy coverage duration, claim expiration dates and claim payout dates may be affected by a lack of precision when dev Epochs are used in place of UNIX time.

Single administrator accounts have significant capabilities. These functions should be limited by requiring multiple signers to prevent collusion. We have been informed that this is currently occurring off-chain, but this should occur on-chain in the future for transparency.During the test, the following positive observations were noted regarding the scope of the engagement:

The code is well organized.

Client contacts were very amenable to conducting joint secure code reviews with the Kudelski Security smart contract auditing team.

Anchor framework usage is very consistent and follows the recommended syntax.

Critical issues in architecture or code logic were discussed immediately via teleconference.

**************************************************

To delve deeper into the technical aspects and further findings, we have made the report public for anyone to download.

An effective product protection solution in Web3.
Amulet Protocol is a decentralized insurance protocol designed for DeFi, NFT insurance based on Rust. Decentralized risk protection protocols provide financial security for all users interacting with Web3 financial products. They typically cover smart-contract risk, Stablecoin deprivation risk, reduction risk, oracle failures, economic exploits, etc. Smart contract risk is particularly significant because more than $3 billion was lost in 2021 due to smart contract hacks. By offering protection against these more common types of DeFi risk, as well as offerings related to NFT and the meta-universe, users and developers can enjoy a more secure Web3 through Amulet.

Existing DeFi risk protection protocols rely on outside underwriters to provide capital for claims and capacity coverage, creating unique and complex business resiliency issues. Amulet is creating the risk protection industry’s first protocol-controlled underwriting (PCU) approach. This is a significant change from the current underwriting capital lease model.

Weekly reports, frequent AMAs, bounty campaigns and more come together in Amulet Protocol. The project already has many successful partners and investors on its list, you can see many of them below, but this list is updated and added to every day.

Amulet Protocol’s current roadmap is focused on launching a core network.
Q2–2022:

Announcing the project to the public — 20/4 in Amsterdam ✅

Defining the application process and how it will work ✅

Developing mechanics to automate with the Stablecoin Depeg proposal ✅

Q3–2022:

Completing the cover design ✅

Conducting code audits and threat analysis, Kudelski Security is doing this ⏳

Launch of TestNet (expected September 1, 2022) ⏳

Launching V1 MainNet (expected late September 2022) ⏳

Completion of risk assessment process ⏳

Q4–2022:

Launching the Center for Analytics and Governance 🔜

Launching the Bug Bounty program 🔜

Q1–2023:

Additional offerings (initial offerings in September — smart contract vulnerabilities and Stablecoin Depeg) 🔜

Enabling Amulet notifications in our app 🔜

Right now, Amulet Protocol is running its bounty campaign, the AmuNation App. The AmuNation App was created to promote and popularize the project. Users and members can perform various tasks, for which they receive AmuPoints. In the future AmuPoints can be exchanged for good rewards. The application consists of 5 levels. Each level has its own rewards. The more points you earn, the faster you can increase your level.

At the time the app launched, there are currently 5 levels that can be reached:

Beginner AmuNation : The starting point for AmuNation
AmuNation Beginner : Great start, Whitelist!
AmuNation Student : Getting better, time for an Airdrop!
AmuNation Expert : Wow, cool, NFT Bronze!
AmuNation Master: Almost champion! NFT Silver!
Mythical AmuNation : AmuLegend! NFT Gold! Final awards!

Amulet Protocol is a simple and reliable insurance coverage for everyone in Web3. It has over $6 million invested, funds like Animoca Brands, Solana, Coinbase, DeFiance Capital and other top

Literally 2 days ago the team has launched its bounty program, where we get a lot of social tasks, for which we get points and increase our rank. The higher the rank, the better the reward. For example, for the fifth lowest level you can get a gold NFT, which is worth 20$SOL.

What we do?
- Go to the site
- Connecting the purse Phantom
- Start performing tasks, of which there are quite a lot, new tasks will be added.

⚠️You will get AmuPoints, which will be converted into tokens $AMT and NFT. The number of points directly depends on the difficulty of the task and your level.

In addition to the bounty program, you can also get an Early follower role on discord.
Anyone with an Early Contributor role will be rewarded, as the team and moderator have written about repeatedly.

Amulet Protocol is a decentralized insurance protocol built for the Rust-based ecosystem, starting with the Solana blockchain. Amulet has designed an innovative and open insurance model, which not only effectively addresses the common challenges of existing decentralized insurance protocols, but also creates a new paradigm shift for the whole insurance sector.

Amulet is creating the industry’s first Protocol-Controlled Underwriting (PCU) approach, in which Amulet will build up its own underwriting capabilities and introduce a claim structure involving a unique Yield Backed Claim (YBC) method. This is a significant deviation from the incumbent insurance models of renting underwriting capability from capital providers to a more sustainable underwriting and claim structure controlled by the protocol. The vision of Amulet is to offer simple, reliable insurance for everyone in Web3. With the addition of Amulet, users in the entire Rust-based ecosystem will gain access to a new way to hedge various risks with insurance product offerings.

Amulet’s governance token ($AMT) will allow its userbase to both propose and vote on community proposals. These include, but are not limited to future reward distributions, validity of claims, target capital requirements, listing of new products, treasury buyback thresholds, and change of future protocol objectives.

Title: Re: Introducing Amulet Protocol
Post by: MarkShebaT on September 26, 2022, 11:22:29 PM
Hello all, seeing that the community has a lot of questions about the passing testnet decided to roll out a detailed guide with screenshots of each action. But first, a little about the project.
In other words, the project offers products to cover users’ financial risks, which include:

Smart contract hacking risk.
Stablecoin depeg risk
Risk of slashing.
Blockchain oracle failure risk
Future risks of NFT, Metaverse, cryptocurrency wallet
It all looks very tasty — can you imagine how cool it would be if we had coverage for a UST Terra depeg incident? Or for example if some smart contract was hacked we would be paid for the lost funds.

The protocol itself will initially work in Solana network, because TVL (Total Value Locked) grows much faster in this network (5 times faster on average) than in Ethereum. And in general, there is no coverage protocols on Solana, so we can safely say that Amulet decided to take the honorable 1st place here.

Such big market players as gumi Cryptos, Solana Ventures, Animoca Brands, DeFiance Capital and others invested $6 million in the project:
A small digression: the project has launched its AmuNation App bounty program, through which you can earn Amu Points, thereby increasing your level, which leads to earning more valuable prizes.

To motivate you a little, here is a screenshot of how you can get rewards for participation in the bounty 😉
As you see, for 5000 points (AmuNation Expert level) you can get your first bronze NFT from the project. And to get 5000 points you can literally in a few hours with a quality approach.

You know what to do 🔥

Amulet Protocol as a risk hedging tool in DeFi. Part 2 — more details, investors and tokenomics
Hey there, everyone. Just the other day I wrote about one very interesting and unusual project (unusual — because I personally have not come across such topics), this article was called “Amulet Protocol Project as a risk hedging tool in DeFi. Introduction” and you can read it below 👇
The current post of mine is a logical continuation of the series of articles about the Amulet Protocol project, where I tell and analyze important information about this project.

To begin with a little introduction to refresh your memory of the information, literally in the abstract:

The DeFi sector grew over 27 times in 1.5–2 years ( from $9.7 billion to $261.2 billion)
The massive growth of this sector provokes numerous losses due to hacking, market volatility, holes in smart contracts, etc.
Accordingly, there is a strong demand for risk hedging, the most popular of which is insurance.
A factor forcing the demand for risk hedging is the total volume of TVL on the networks, for example, TVL on Solana grows 5 times faster than on ETH.
And that’s where a project called Amulet Protocol comes on the scene — it’s a DeFi insurance protocol for the Rust-based ecosystem with an initial deployment on Solana.

Amulet is being built with the prospect of simple, reliable insurance for all in Web3. The solution will be the first to be built on the Solana network and has been backed by Solana Ventures, which is also an investor in the project.

Amulet uses Solana’s proof-of-stake network to provide stable returns and insurance services through a unique Protocol Controlled Underwriting and Future Yield Backed Claim mechanism that minimizes risk for capital providers to underwrite.

The Amulet protocol
The Amulet protocol is a decentralized Risk Protection Protocol (“RPP”) created for the Rust-based ecosystem starting with the Solana blockchain. Amulet has developed an innovative and open risk protection model that not only effectively addresses common problems of existing decentralized RPPs, but also creates a new paradigm shift for the entire risk protection sector.

It will also address:
1. Smart contract vulnerability: smart contract hacking is a trend of the 21st and 22nd years.
2. Stablecoin Depgs: no comment here, after the UST case, everyone knows that stablcoins are not that stable.
3. Protection of nft and wallets in development.
Very good project, I advise to participate + give away amulets (their NFT).

Beginner (0 level) — he begins the path to the bounty
AmuNation Beginner (1 level 500 points) — the reward for owners of this role — token whitelist for sale of tokens $AMT
AmuNation Student (level 2 2500 points) — rewards are as follows: $5 AMT token for the first 20,000 members and then a 25% bonus for the secret Airdrop.
AmuNation Expert (level 3 5000 points) — the reward is a bronze Amulet NFT.
AmuNation Master (4th level 10000 points) — the award is a silver Amulet NFT.
AmuNation Mhytical (level 5 25000 points) — the award is a gold Amulet NFT.
The main task will be to earn points and receive various awards.

Amulet Protocol
🔥 We have a GEM coming up.

Amulet Protocol is a decentralized risk protection protocol for the Rust-based ecosystem, originally deployed on Solana.

But we don’t care so much about all those terms, what’s important to us is that guys like Solana Venture, DeFiance Capital, Animoca Brands and many more have put $6 million into the project.

Now we are eligible, get tokens, allocation and NFT from this project.

📌 ACTIONS :
- Go to the website and connect via email
- Perform tasks in social networks, there are quite a lot of them, the more you do the better.

We do tasks for which we are given the so-called Amupoints, the more these points — the higher your level, for what level — what is the reward?

- 1 level — allocation
- 2 level — 5 tokens $AMT + 25% bonus for the secret airdrop, not quite understand what the secret airdrop
- Level 3 — Amulet NFT (I understand it costs 2.5 SOL)
- Level 4 — Silver NFT (I understand it costs 5 SOL)
- Level 5 — Gold NFT (I understand it’s worth 20 SOL)

What do you think of the rewards? For all tasks, you can get ~4,000+ points, which means we get to level 2, and have the right to claim 5 tokens $AMT + 25% for the secret drop.

Amulet Protocol
Amulet Protocol and its roadmap for 2022–2023. Let’s see what the project has in store for us!
Hi all. Saw the news that Amulet Protocol announced their roadmap. Let’s see what this amazing project has in store for us!
If anyone doesn’t know, Amulet is a decentralized insurance protocol that has as its main goal to protect investors’ assets from incidents such as:

Smart Contract Vulnerability: A smart contract failure if the covered protocol is exploited or fails to function as intended.
Stablecoin Depeg: The risk that a stable coin will trade below its peg for an extended period of time. This is currently only available for dollar-based stablecoins.
Slashing: Slashing penalties are not currently implemented in Solana, but the project intends to offer this coverage when this part of the protocol goes live.
NFT, Metaverse, and wallet protection are all in development!
Amulet’s decentralized coverage protocol provides financial security for all users interacting with Web3 financial products.
Of all these risks, smart contract exploits were one of the most significant contributors to the loss of nearly $3B in 2021. By securing these initial types of risks and expanding Amulet’s reach, Amulet aims to create a more secure Web3.

DeFi has not stopped its development since the summer of 2020. As the market volume grows, the demand for risk hedging is also going through its growth phase. Despite the dominance of Ethereum and its associated EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) ecosystem in DeFi, other Rust-based public chains are growing rapidly, with Solana leading the way.
However, they are still lacking in Solana and few in the Rust-based space. This represents a unique blue ocean opportunity, which Amulet immediately exploits to meet the growing market demand for security.

As you can see from the picture above, there are 3 main points about Amulet’s operations, these are:

Coverage — Only 2% of digital assets in our industry are protected. Amulet Protocol offers additional protection for your digital assets with a range of solutions, including smart contract vulnerability, Stablecoin depeg and NFT coverage options.
Steaking — Make steaking in Amulet Protocol easy and worry-free. Amulet Protocol has 3 levels of protection between claims and assets. Doing steaking is easy and, more importantly, it has the highest level of security behind it.
Earnings — Amulet Protocol is built on advanced technology. Hybrid claim management will be fully automated in situations such as a Stablecoin de-peg trigger, resulting in payouts. Amulet Protocol also manages claim payouts through its DAO model.
In fact, if you go into details, there is a certain underwriting mechanism, in general it’s a little bit another level, so I won’t talk about it in this article. But the idea of the project is very, very cool!
So, now let’s talk about the road map of the project. Amulet Protocol is happy to present a public roadmap that gives an overview of the plans for the coming months for investors, users and the community!

The current development of Amulet Protocol is focused on the launch of the mainnet. After that, the team will work hard on continuous improvement, aiming to become the mainstream solution for DeFi coverage.

The team has big ambitions. Below is a summary of expected plans from the time the project is announced in April 2022 to the second quarter of 2023.
Now with translation:

Q2–2022:

Announcing the project to the public — 20/4 in Amsterdam ✅
Defining the claims process and how it will work ✅
Develop mechanics to automate the process with our Stablecoin Depeg offering ✅
Q3–2022:

Finalize the design for our coverage offering ✅
Conduct a code audit and threat analysis, Kudelski Security is doing this ⏳.
Launch a test network (expected September 1, 2022) ⏳
Launch of V1 MainNet (expected in late September 2022) ⏳
Completing the risk assessment process (how we analyze and assess the premium) ⏳
Q4–2022:

Launching our analytics and command center 🔜
Launching our Bug Bounty Program 🔜
Q1–2023:

Additional offerings (initial offerings in September are smart contract vulnerabilities and stabelcoin depeg) 🔜
Enabling Amulet notifications in our dApp 🔜]
Launching Amulet Stable Asset Pools 🔜
This roadmap is subject to change, but the project will be sure to notify the community of any changes.

Amulet Protocol
Amulet Protocol is a decentralized insurance protocol created for the Rust-based ecosystem, on the Solana blockchain. Amulet has developed an innovative and open insurance model that not only effectively addresses common problems of existing decentralized insurance protocols, but also creates a new paradigm shift for the entire insurance sector.

Amulet is creating the industry’s first Protocol Controlled Underwriting (PCU) approach, in which Amulet will create proprietary underwriting capabilities and introduce a claims structure that includes a unique Yield-Based Claims (YBC) method. This is a significant departure from existing insurance models of renting underwriting capabilities from capital providers in favor of a more sustainable protocol-controlled underwriting and claims structure. Amulet’s vision is to offer simple and reliable insurance to everyone in Web3. With the addition of Amulet, users throughout the Rust-based ecosystem will have access to a new way to hedge various risks through insurance product offerings.

Amulet’s management token ($AMT) will allow its user base to offer and vote on community offerings. These include, but are not limited to, future reward distributions, legitimate claims, target capital requirements, new product listings, redemption thresholds, and changes to future protocol goals.

Amulet Protocol
Within the Solana ecosystem, users own $SOL derivative tokens such as $mSOL owned by Marinade.finance and $stSOL owned by Lido.finance. These tokens are important innovations in DeFi as users do not only participate in paid platforms but issue tokens on other platforms throughout the ecosystem.

Amulet has intentionally focused its contribution on this high capital intensive cycle and created an insurance layer on top of the foundation ecosystem — the $SOL token and the Solana PoS cluster. For this platform, $amtSOL will be issued when the user injects their $SOL tokens.
Amulet Managing Token ($AMT).
Allows users to suggest and vote on community proposals. These include, but are not limited to, future reward satisfaction, security validity, target capital requirements, listing of new products, treasury redemption thresholds, and changes to expected outcomes.

The $amtSOL is a revenue-generating token similar to $mSOL, which is accrued on the revenue generated by the Solana PoS rate. Users will also have the option of investing $amtSOL in insurance pools to underwrite insurance products, receive premiums and rewards in $AMT, or invest $amtSOL in a betting pool for rewards in $AMT on the Amulet platform. They can also use $amtSOL to participate in other protocols in the Solana ecosystem to earn additional revenue. With the creation of $amtSOL, Amulet will become part of the Solana ecosystem.
Insurance Token ($aUWT).
As an open DeFi insurance protocol, Amulet also supports other $SOL derivative tokens such as $mSOL, $stSOL, etc. to participate in underwriting. When these $amtSOL, $mSOL, $stSOL are used for insurance underwriting, $aUWT tokens are minted to de-nationalize the token underwriting capabilities.
Derivative SOL tokens are exchanged for $aUWT tokens using the weighted average exchange volume algorithm.

On a DEX (e.g. Saber or Raydium) for that trading pair, including $amtSOL-$SOL, $amtSOL-$mSOL, $amtSOL-$stSOL, $amtSOL-$aUWT, $mSOL-$aUWT, and $stSOL-$aUWT. Users can change their original tokens from the protocols or redeem their important Amulet.

What’s there to know?

Amulet is focused on providing simple and reliable cover for everyone in Web3 which comes with maximum protection and yield that is also fully protected via Protocol Controlled Reserves (PCR). In actuality, less than 5% of this industry's digital assets are secure. Amulet Protocol hence provides additional security for digital assets through a variety of solutions such as smart contract vulnerability, stablecoin de-peg, and are preparing to provide NFT cover options. Moreover, users can also stake with confidence through Amulet. Between claims and assets, Amulet Protocol has three layers of protection. Staking is simple, and more importantly, it comes with a very high level of security. Amulet Protocol is additionally based on the innovative use of the latest and most relevant cutting-edge technology. The hybrid claims management will see complete automation in situations like a stablecoin depegging trigger leading to payouts. Amulet Protocol's DAO model also handles claim payouts.

Past achievements and future goals

Amulet has managed to gain plenty of noteworthy achievements thus far. For instance, it has a very active and involved community which has increased to a total of 25,000+. The community, known as AmuNation, is also largely responsible for the testnet's success. Other accomplishments include Amulet’s unique cover model, the audit review, the announcement of being the first cover protocol on Solana, and the abovementioned $6 million raised through seed funding which was led by Gumi Cryptos Capital. In terms of future goals, the team will focus on launching then becoming multi-chain with the hope of becoming the largest cover protocol in the entirety of Web3 by this time next year. The full plan can be checked out at any time via the official roadmap.

Amulet and Serum are pleased to announce their official strategic partnership, strengthening ties with the Solana ecosystem.

Simple, reliable insurance for Web3 meets faster, cheaper and more powerful DeFi as Amulet and Serum announce their official partnership.

Amulet will launch on the main network in late September, initially on the Solana blockchain, and then become a true cross-chain coverage protection solution. Serum is a protocol and ecosystem that provides unprecedented speed and low transaction costs for decentralized finance.

Serum was created on the Solana blockchain and is completely permissionless. Serum has watched DeFi grow over the past couple of years, especially the growth of DEX on Ethereum, and noticed limitations for users and developers due to exorbitant gas fees and slow transactions. As a result, Serum was born to address these issues and improve issues of centralization, capital inefficiencies, and liquidity segmentation.

Amulet plans to start with providing cover for smart contract vulnerability, stablecoin de-peg risk, custodian risk, and eventually expand to a much wider spectrum of different risk types such as default risk on lending protocols, NFT asset risk, price volatility risk, etc.
In addition standalone cover products, Amulet will also customize cover bundles by wrapping two or more separate cover products or covered protocols in a single package deal, and provide portfolio-based coverage. This lowers costs, simplifies user experience, and broadens coverage for users.
To help users with their cover purchase decisions, Amulet will be providing cover recommendations. Users will also have the flexibility of cancelling, renewing, or extending their cover.
Amulet currently operates and builds on the Solana blockchain. In time and as its cover capacity and technologies develop, Amulet will extend its valuable suite of products and services to the growing userbase on other Rust-based blockchains (e.g. Cosmos).

Risk Management
Amulet's risk management can be broken down into several key functions:
1. Capital adequacy and management
Adhering with Solvency II requirements creates a desirable level of safety when underwriting risk. It builds a protective moat around Amulet's capital base and ensures there is sufficient reserves for making claim payouts.
2. Layered risk controls
Several layers of risk controls have been built into Amulet to ensure funds are safe and that the business remains sound:
Technical checks to ensure base level protocol safety, including code auditing, bug bounty program, and continuous testing.
Careful selection of protocols to be covered through rigorous risk assessment.
Identifying over-concentration of risk from the chain level down to individual product level and risk types in order to avoid catastrophic drawdowns by certain covers.
Mechanisms such as an emergency kill-switch to suspend all or some business activities to head-off suspicious transactions.
Clear cover terms and conditions properly detailing the scope of coverage and claims process amongst other particulars.
3. On-chain risk alerts
On-chain data monitoring, analysis, and alerts serve as timely and valuable signals for Amulet to respond rapidly, such as notifications of covered protocols' security status, cover product price adjustments, or the occurrence of a risk event. Amulet has adopted many best practices in this area and continues to work with several other projects to enhance its risk monitoring capabilities.

Tokenomics
The main tokens in Amulet's ecosystem are:
$AMT:  Amulet's governance token which gives holders the right to take part in the protocol's governance.
$amtSOL: The interest-bearing token as well as liquid derivative of $SOL staked by users in Amulet's liquid staking pool.
$aUWT: The underwriting token issued for liquid derivatives of $SOL staked in Amulet's underwriting pool (eg. $amtSOL, $mSOL, $stSOL, etc).

Phased Execution Path
As Amulet grows and reaches its key milestones, the following initiatives will commence:
Project Initiation – Limited underwriting with with greater emphasis on investments to bootstrap treasury pool assets. Cover products will be offered on a limited basis for specified protocols at this stage. This will continue until the Treasury Pool reaches critical mass and its income-generating potential stabilizes. Early $AMT lockers will receive special rewards.
Treasury Pool Critical Mass – Size of claims reserve and associated collateralized future revenues (i.e., YBC) is sufficient to withstand economic shocks as defined by Solvency II standards. Accelerated distribution of investment and other treasury income will commence while rewards for locked $AMT will begin to reduce.
Growth Phase – Projected and actual loss ratios monitored to track performance and execute on improvements so that the protocol can better withstand economic shocks. Emphasis on the continued acceleration of treasury income while $AMT emissions are throttled. Leverage on underwriting capital can be increased to generate new business and underwrite larger covers.
Hypergrowth And Beyond – Defined as the point when cover purchasers and regular treasury income can withstand incoming claims without the need to draw on capital tranches. Treasury $AMT buyback operations can help increase capital staked, thereby allowing for greater cover capacity, which in turn generates more cover payments and leads to further treasury growth and value accrual.

Claim Process
Amulet intends to use a hybrid claims process to simplify its procedure and ensure
fairness for its users. This hybrid process will consist of a programmatic claims process
for parametric cover products, and a voting-based claim process for non-parametric
products.

Programmatic Claims
This approach is suitable for parameterized cover products, such as stablecoin de-peg
cover. Its trigger criteria are clear and simple enough to be programmed and
automatically executed when the necessary conditions are met (e.g. stablecoin falls a
certain predefined amount below its peg). Users will be able to enjoy a much faster
claims process and greatly reduced burden to supply proof of loss. At the same time,
Amulet will be able focus more on protocol development and bringing industry-leading
products to market.

Vote-based Claims
For non-parameterized cover products such as smart contract risk or custodian risk
where risk events or exploits are not yet easily verified, a vote-based claims process is
required.

Generally, after a Claimant submits a valid claim along with the necessary evidence
within a specified time period, a Claim Committee will investigate the claim and
evidence then vote to approve, partially approve, or reject a payout. There will also be
an appeal process where Claimants can appeal to the Claim Committee to reconsider
its decision based on new and different evidence. A deposit fee is charged for claim
submission and appeal. More up-to-date details will be set out on Amulet's website.

Therefore, Amulet will be balancing speed with fairness through its automated and
manual claims processes.

Amulet is designed to provide a high level of protection against capital drawdowns while earning returns for its participants. The realization of this objective will be
gradual, based on treasury growth alongside the buffers intended to support it. Here is an overview of Amulet's structure:

The core components of the overall platform design set out above in Figure 2 are Risk Underwriting, Product Offering and Distribution, Capital Management, Risk Management, and Claim Assessment.

Yield Backed Claim Payout

In order to build up PCR and minimize drawdowns on underwriters' capital, a tranche is built into Amulet's claim payout structure. This tranche is backed by future revenues
and therefore dubbed as Yield Backed Claim ("YBC"). What this means is that Amulet is collateralizing revenues that it is expected to earn in the near future in order to mint
more $aUWT for claim payouts so as to safeguard underwriters' capital against claims.

When a claim payout is approved, the necessary funds will be drawn from different
payout tranches in the sequence outlined below:
1. Yield Backed Claim Pool.
2. Claims Reserve in the Treasury Pool.
3. Product Underwriting Pool (i.e., If there is a claim on Cover Product A, only the $aUWT staked in Cover Product A's underwriting pool will be affected).

This way, underwriting capital contributed by underwriters will be least affected. Underwriters can be confident that their principal is SAFU while generating
considerable earnings through the various yield generation opportunities available on Amulet.

The time period which Amulet uses to determine the amount of revenue to collateralize for YBC will shrink progressively as Amulet builds up the PCR. Under no circumstances will the said time period's duration extend beyond its initial parameters .

Governance

$AMT is Amulet's governance token. It primarily gives $AMT token holders the right to vote and participate through governance in the protocol's development and initiatives
such as but limited to treasury utilization and rewards distribution, claim validity, target capital requirements, new products listing, treasury buyback thresholds, determining future protocol objectives, etc.

Protocol Controlled Reserves

Existing DeFi RPPs rely on external underwriters to provide capital for claim payouts and cover capacity. This is effectively the same as renting liquidity from stakers. While
renting underwriting capital is effective in the short to medium-term, it does raise some serious issues that may greatly impact the scalability and sustainability of RPPs.

For example:

• In the face of outsized claims, underwriters may race to withdraw their capital, leading to insufficient claim payouts and subsequently reduced TVL
and future underwriting capacity for the RPP as underwriters look to mitigate and recoup their losses.

• Due to concerns over losing underwriting capital, many underwriters are unwilling to participate in RPPs.

• RPPs lockup or impose other restrictions on underwriting capital in their capital pools when claims are submitted in order to protect the functioning of the claims process. This method reduces user experience and hinders participation in the space.

• Yield generated from RPPs are generally not as competitive when compared to other DeFi protocols, hence users do not have a strong incentive to stake with RPPs. Some protocols use their token emissions to supplement their APY, but this is obviously not sustainable and puts downward price pressure on their governance tokens.

Hence, RPPs usually have smaller TVL compared to AMM, lending, and other DeFi protocols. The value of their governance tokens is also difficult to estimate given the uncertain risk of claim payouts weighing on RPPs' prospects.

Cover Acceleration Program

In order to bootstrap underwriting capacity for certain products and generate higher returns for underwriters, Amulet's Cover Acceleration Program (CAP) will engage with covered protocols' teams to accelerate cover adoption.

For example, when smart contract cover is launched for Protocol A, its initial price may be high due to limited capacity as underwriters may not have as strong an incentive to back the risk versus older cover products. Protocol A can incentivize underwriters with its native tokens or other rewards and additionally $AMT rewards jointly sponsored with Amulet. This helps to increase Amulet's cover capacity and reduce costs for cover purchaser while underwriters earn more rewards. Additionally, pool rewards allocated by Protocol A may serve as an additional buffer against claim payouts.

The CAP will initially apply to Smart Contract Cover before expanding to other cover products on Amulet. As Amulet sees it, everyone stands to benefit from the CAP. Users have access to more options for risk protection, protocols are able to attract more users, underwriters safely earn rewards on their principal, and Amulet is able to extend and expand its product offerings to more users.

Conclusion

The risk protection sector, although a seemingly niche area, is critical to the safe and robust development of DeFi, much like how insurance or other modes of financial
protection has been responsible for the massive growth of commerce into the global behemoth that we have today. Knowing risk protection needs have been met and
potential risks mitigated is key to unlocking DeFi's global userbase and develop safetyminded DeFi.

Amulet is extremely excited to bring security to its users by offering simple, reliable cover at scale, backed by sustainable investments and prudent capital management.
In setting the standard for safety and proper risk management, Amulet will be a fundamental building block for protocol development on Solana, all Rust-based
ecosystems, and the future of open finance. Whether you are a potential contributor, investor, or just here for the ride, Amulet welcomes and looks forward to having you
in its community.

Cross-Chain Expansion

Amulet’s initial deployment will be on Solana given its rapid growth and potential. Amulet also plans ambitions to expand to other Rust-based ecosystems such as Near
and Cosmos, offering protection to user and protocols on other chains. Amulet firmly believes that risk protection solutions should be made available to all
users and protocols regardless of the chain they operate in. It aims to create the safety standard for users and the adoption of blockchain technologies.

Amulet Protocol (hereinafter Amulet) is a decentralized insurance protocol created for the Rust-based ecosystem, starting with the Solana blockchain.
Amulet has developed an innovative and open insurance model that not only effectively solves the common problems of existing decentralized insurance protocols, but also creates a new paradigm shift for the entire insurance sector.

Risk underwriting and insurance claims are at the heart of any insurance business; however, all existing decentralized insurance protocols face the critical problem of resiliency in risk underwriting and insurance claims. Amulet is creating the industry's first Protocol-Controlled Underwriting (PCU) approach, in which Amulet will build its own underwriting capabilities and implement a claims structure that incorporates the unique Yield Backed Claim (YBC) method. This is a significant departure from current insurance models in which underwriting capabilities are leased from capital providers, in favor of a more sustainable protocol-controlled underwriting and claims structure. Amulet's vision is to is to offer simple, reliable insurance for all in Web3. With the addition of Amulet users throughout the Rust-based ecosystem will have access to a new way to hedge various risks through insurance product offerings.
Unlike some existing insurance protocols that use a combination of general underwriting pools and individual pools for insurance products, Amulet will use an individual pool for each product, and users can choose one or more pools for underwriting by investing their $aUWT in specific product pools.

Amulet Protocol had an exceptional 2022. Amulet Protocol announced project in April at DevConnect in Amsterdam and this was shortly followed by seed funding announcement.

Since then Amulet Protocol been building community and getting ready for launch. Amulet Protocol did this organically and grew steadily and this became more extreme when we started our AmuNation app. Amulet Protocol achieved top 5 most engaged Solana projects in only 3 months of existence!

The AmuNation app is a bounty campaign that is still ongoing and will provide users with valuable rewards.

Amulet Protocol announces a strategic partnership with Project Serum, who continue BUIDL on Solana

Amulet and Serum are pleased to announce their formal strategic partnership, strengthening ties with the Solana ecosystem.

Given the recent increase in crypto-related crimes, DeFi cover is a worthy investment. Amulet has developed the first Protocol-Controlled Reserves (PCR) approach in the whole risk protection industry, which offers protection from smart contract vulnerability and soon stablecoin depeg, and slashing. Amulet is also looking and assessing the fundamentals for a Wallet Cover. So, if you have invested in crypto, now is the time to protect it against would-be thieves and hackers.

Amulet Protocol
Preparations for the launch of Amulet Mainnet are well underway, and the launch date has been announced
The official launch of Amulet Mainnet is set for September 29, 2022. The team introduced Amulet back in April, along with the announcement of a $6 million seed funding round.

In August, the team successfully launched the AmuNation app, a gamified bounty, a test network, and then an audit report was released. After this initial success, preparations are now underway for a mainnet launch, as mentioned above, which coincided with a launch party on token 2049 in Singapore.

What you need to know.
Amulet is focused on providing simple and reliable coverage for everyone in Web3, which comes with maximum protection and returns that are also fully protected with protocol-controlled reserves (PCR). In fact, less than 5% of digital assets in this industry are protected. Therefore, Amulet Protocol provides additional security for digital assets with various solutions such as smart contract vulnerability, de peg stable coins, and is also preparing to provide NFT coverage.

The Amulet Protocol was created to protect Web3 users' digital assets. The protocol was announced in April 2022 and is designed for the Rust ecosystem, including the Solana blockchain. Its developers created an innovative risk prevention system, which is designed to solve current RPP problems and set a new stage in the development of technologies related to tracking and eliminating any threats. One of the key ones is the problem of risk underwriting sustainability.

Amulet offers a simple and effective way to combat them, based on a new protocol-controlled underwriting (PCU) approach. Other existing protocols rely on external underwriters, making them less reliable. The new model also has the potential to scale steadily. The protocol is capable of preventing smart contract exploits, stabelcoin tethering, slashing, and more.

The protocol offers users not only a high degree of security, but also the ability to earn tokens through stealing. It has 3 levels of protection between claims and assets, so users' funds are secure. Interestingly, all transactions are automated, and Amulet Protocol manages claims payments through its DAO model. These advanced technologies make it even more secure.

At the moment, the #DevelopmentTeam  decided to gamify the process of rewarding users and released the AmuNation app. Thanks to its use, the community is growing steadily and the risk of tampering or using robots is much lower. Communities on social networks are also growing. All this shows that the project is interesting for the cryptocurrency community, which means it can be called promising.

Great news!
Amulet officially launched NFT MetaBears.
Divided into 3 tiers, Gold MetaBears will be at the highest value tier, Silver MetaBears at the middle tier, and Bronze at the more common value. As of today, November 2, 2022, we will have 88 Gold, 888 Silver and 8,888 Bronze. Some of it has already been earned through the hard work of promoting Amulet, but there is still a lot to be distributed.
The issued NFTs will have special staking bonuses, vesting bonuses, higher token sale limits, and future airdrop bonuses. The most interesting benefit of our NFTs, and one that will highlight their real value, are the coverage discounts.

Amulet Protocol ("Amulet") is a decentralized risk protection protocol ("RPP") built for Rust-based ecosystems, starting with the Solana blockchain. Amulet has designed an innovative and open risk protection model which not only effectively addresses the common challenges of existing decentralized RPPs, but also creates a new paradigm shift for the whole risk protection sector.

Amulet's vision is to offer Simple, Reliable Cover for everyone in Web3. With the addition of Amulet, users in the entire Rust-based ecosystem will gain access to a new way to hedge various risks with cover product offerings.

Cover
Only 2% of digital assets in our industry are protected. Amulet Protocol offers additional protection to your digital assets with an array of solutions including smart contract vulnerability, stablecoin de-peg and NFT cover options.

Stake
Easily stake with peace of mind on Amulet Protocol. Amulet Protocol has 3 layers of protection between claims and assets. Staking is easy to do and more importantly, with the highest level of security behind it.

Earn
Amulet Protocol is built on advanced technology. Our hybrid claims management will see full automation on situations such as a trigger of a stablecoin depegging leading to payouts. Amulet Protocol also manages claim payouts through its DAO model.
