because there is no need of 2x .. You have litecoin & dogecoin .. they are enough!

Bitcoin community and litecoin creator  Charlie Lee who is a long time supporter of bitcoin was against SegWit2x because a group of companies tried to alter bitcoin protocol with out the user and community consensus.
