Regulators are pushing cryptocurrencies, should you be worried?

The cryptocurrency market has been going through difficult times lately (when were they different😉?) — the price dump of most cryptocurrencies, especially tragic for altcoins, pressure from regulators, bans in China and other countries.

Reasons
- Binance is the largest crypto exchange with huge trading volumes, such a large company cannot function without attention and control of states. Regulations were a matter of time and sooner or later they will affect most centralized exchanges and large crypto projects.
- Blockchain and cryptocurrencies have fundamental value because this technology, for the first time in hundreds of years, takes away the monopoly on the issue and control of money from a centralized government and distributes this power equally to all citizens.
- Officials are sensibly assessing the risks of this financial freedom and will stifle it so that control remains in their hands. It is already impossible to completely “kill” cryptocurrencies because of how this industry is set up and how much money and users it has already attracted, so barriers in the form of verification, licensing, taxes, etc. will be put at the entrance to the world of cryptocurrencies.
- An average user, who came into crypto for the sake of easy money making and doesn’t understand what the value of free money is, will absolutely voluntarily pass any verification and will pay taxes.

- Despite the growth of inexperienced investors who buy shitcoins because of Ilon Musk tweets, the crypto industry still attracts the best minds of mankind and a lot of talented people are well aware of the real value of cryptocurrencies and invest their efforts in their development.
- Blockchain and cryptocurrencies in general and bitcoin in particular are a unique experiment, the results of which are not yet determined, the technology offering financial freedom is still subject to influence and control.
- The industry today is already much more regulated than just a couple of years ago and the trend will continue to grow, but while there is still room for financial freedom and the DeFi boom, which although not 100% decentralized, is much more free than the already regulated CEX gives us a temporary advantage.

It is difficult to predict the outcome of the battle between blockchain and financial freedom versus government control, but the trend is clear — the industry is becoming a regular speculative market to make money. Large companies are going along with the regulators themselves, and most users have nothing against it.

It is likely that the crypto market will follow the path of the Internet, where the average user rarely leaves the ecosystem of a few large IT companies that fully control their environment (Facebook, Twitter, Google, Instagram, YouTube), and some users have gone into darknet, which is not only used for fraud.

This pattern is already formed, user comes to conditional Binance due to advertising and bonuses, immediately gets verified to participate in drops, then trades exclusively on this platform (remember spam “when binance?” in any cryptocommunity). In case the user wants to play with farms and DeFi he will be provided with a convenient BSC, controlled by Binance, which is already controlled by regulators.
Despite this sad trend, we truly believe in blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies. It is an amazing technology that has a number of significant advantages (limited issuance, no control over transactions, convenience and affordable financial instruments, security) over traditional money and these advantages cannot be stifled completely.

But judging by the comments and the number of views, even many crypto enthusiasts don’t quite understand what this project is and how it works. Many people confuse Free TON with Durov’s brainchild, but they are completely different projects.

The main idea of this contest is to tell about all the advantages of this cool blockchain with the help of experienced participants of the Free TON project and to attract as many new users as possible. With a reward for all these actions of course. We decided to invite “Managers” who will be able to convey to everyone without exception, even the most complex nuances concerning the Free TON project.

Rewards:

- «Managers» will be selected for participation, each of whom will receive a reward of 200 TON Crystal/month.

- “Manager” can wear a Free TON project signature and receive an additional 50 TON Crystal/month.

In the case of low-quality work, the person will receive less pay or lose it altogether :

- In case of writing less than 30 posts in a month, the “Manager” receives a penalty of 7 TON Crystal for each non-written post;

- The “Manager” will be fined 50 TON Crystal in case of insulting users;

- In case of inactivity for 7 days - “Manager” excludes from the campaign.

At the end of each 30-day period, “managers” must submit applications summarizing the actions they have completed in order to receive a remuneration . Each “manager” will have an additional reminder about this event.



Evaluation and criteria for selecting winners in Stage 2:

- Manager’s public and professional reputation in the Free TON community and/or in cryptocurrency projects, in general, is important;
- Past experience, knowledge, characteristics, etc., demonstrating the ability to provide accurate and qualified answers to questions from community members
- The period from which the candidate participates in the Free TON project and cryptocurrency projects in general;
- Literacy and tactfulness of communication (correspondence);
- Language skills;



Voting:

Voting by the jurors is carried out according to the section “Rights and duties of the winner as a Jury member”, which has been accepted by “Global Community SG – Jury Selection” contest. Therefore, it is imperative that the Jury read this section again.

In order for a participant to become one of the winners:

- The submission must receive points 1-10 from 50%+1 votes of those Jury members who actually voted for that submission;
- The submission must receive an average point of 6.00 or higher after voting.
- Participants who did not score 6.00 points will have the opportunity to work for a lower pay on individual terms.



Jury rewards:

An amount equal to 50-125% of the sum total of all total tokens (gradations are described below) awarded to contest winners (from the calculation R x M = S, where R is the maximum reward of 1 manager per month, M is the number of winners of the Stage 1 competition, S is the total amount to calculate the jury reward) will be distributed among jurors who vote and provide feedback.

Gradation of awards depending on the number of applications:

— up to 50 submissions - 50% of the total amount of tokens awarded to the winners;

— 50-75 submissions - 75% of the total amount of tokens awarded to the winners;

— 76-100 submissions - 100% of the total amount of tokens awarded to the winners;

— 101 or more submissions - 125% of the total amount of tokens awarded to the winners;

This percentage will be awarded on the following basis:

The percentage of tokens awarded to the jury will be distributed based on the number of votes each juror casts. For example, if one juror votes 50 times and another juror votes 5 times, the juror who votes 50 times will get 10 times more tokens than the juror who votes 5 times.

Feedback is mandatory to collect any rewards.

Procedural requirements:

— Accessibility. All submissions must be accessible for the jury to open and view, so please double-check your submission. If the submission is inaccessible or does not fit the criteria described, jurors may reject the submission.

— Timing. Contestants must submit their work before the end of application timing. If not submitted on time, the submission will not count.

— Content. Please submit in PDF format. If all or a portion of the original content cannot be in the form of a PDF, simply submit a PDF with links to that original content. Such links must be to files that cannot be edited after this contest is in the voting phase. If the file links are editable after voting, the jury can reject your submission. This is CRUCIAL! The message in the topic of the contest, which you refer to when submitting, must contain contact information.

— Contact. Each submission must have an identifiable contact that can be matched with your description. If you have not provided a forum description for discussion, then your application should contain links to your online persona, for example, a Telegram ID (preferred) or other direct contact information that can confirm that the submitted work is yours. In the absence of confirmation by the contestant of the authorship of the submitted work, the submission is rejected.

Each user can submit 3 separate applications at once - 1 for each forum.
