It depends on the project you investing your time in and the amount of effort you putting into the work..once you work hard enough on the right  project you will make good gains from it

Right now veil  technology is on going on well. I think what they need at the moment is to work and devlop their mobile mining which wil be more cheaper and easy to use. This will go a long way to attract other crypto miners  to this awesome project. A mobile miner wil be a big addition to the platform

Of course i do belive in altcoin. There are some altcoin with excellent use case that can actually change and disrupts various sectors they influence.  Once crypto is globally accepted the ned for this altcoin will greatly incrase
