Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Are you buying now?
« Last post by de_prof on Today at 09:26:32 AM »
        -    In the scenario we have now, as far as I can see, there are still good chances to buy the top altcoins in the market, and even bitcoin, in my opinion. We are still in the correction, and no one knows how long it will take, to be honest.

That's why the others do more on DCA and just hold first, although there are still people who do day trading, but only for those who have a broad understanding and can actually get profit from them.
There is still an opportunity to buy bitcoin and altcoins right now, even though we know the prices are high. but as I said, we have to plan the sell target. Because it is possible that the market will be more volatile in the future because we will experience a bullish top, so be careful

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: HODLing Altcoins
« Last post by de_prof on Today at 09:24:28 AM »
Now Altcoin holding is better i think. Bitcoin price is now very high. From here Bitcoin price increase 100%,or 200% is impossible within short time i think. But Altcoin is better for hige profit i think.

So i think it will good hold altcoin. I believe if anyone buy Altcoin and hold it he will be huge profitable for him.So holding Altcoin is better there has no doubt.
If that is the goal for the medium term I agree that currently holding altcoins is more likely to get bigger gains in a short time. We just need to see and analyze which altcoin is the best for us to hold in this bullish market. And we should not make the mistake of holding altcoins that do not have strong fundamentals.
I agree, if you buy altcoins now you have to determine the sell target, set a sell order because it seems more suitable for the short and medium term. Because altcoin prices are currently high. but if you bought when it was bearish last year it might be more suitable for the long term. We will get bigger profits

Ethereum Forum / Re: Who is Ethereum's biggest competitor?
« Last post by de_prof on Today at 09:20:43 AM »
Actually, ethereum's closest competitors are BNB and Solana. In terms of technology, Solana has the most potential to beat ethereum because BNB only competes in terms of popularity and has little influence with technology because of centralis. The biggest opportunity is Solana, that's my opinion
Solana does have the potential to beat the prices of Binance Smart Chain and Ethereum, but this all still requires quite a long process, Solana must continue to have very good development, to continue to get investors and provide support to Solana and increase Solana's trading volume.
Solana is only 4 years old so it's natural that it can't surpass the popularity of BNB, let alone ethereum, which is an old coin. so everything needs a process to become more popular. and solana is developing in that direction, with network technology that can compete with ethereum and BNB,

U.S. prosecutors are seeking a three-year prison sentence for Binance founder Changpeng Zhao - the court hearing will be held on April 30, Zhao himself agrees to pay a $50 million fine.

Recall that Binance will pay a fine of $4.3 billion as part of the deal with the U.S. Department of Justice.

P.S. Who has any thoughts? Is CZ really going to go to jail?

PS I for example believe that one of the laws that can improve the situation - is the right to vote - only the tax payer ! Let me clarify, although it will sound unpleasant - but pensioners, and all those who are on state support, in a society where there are problems with the government - should not vote. The reason is banal - they are the "breeding ground", which is very easy to cheat or simply bribe for pennies !

The fundamental principles of democracy are equality and inclusiveness, and the right to participate in the political process is considered a human right. Limiting the franchise to a select few can be viewed as a violation of democratic principles.

Jason Brennan, a professor and author, states that there is a side effect of the democratic system, which encourages citizens to be irrational, tribal behavior and not take their vote seriously.
Therefore, he proposes a complementary system to mitigate these shortcomings, The concept of Epistocracy.
Brennan's concept of Epistocracy is a potential solution to this problem. However, its applicability remains a matter of debate among experts. Some experts consider this concept applicable and believe it can complement the democratic system.

« Last post by BitMaxz on Today at 09:05:48 AM »

Salamat in advance

How many of us use aliases in the crypto world?

If it's about platforms such as this forum where you are not required to verify your identity or have your actual name as your username to be able to participate or do anything, I guess all of us or most of us use aliases here, but if it's about centralized platforms that most of us use such as exchanges, then we are compelled to use our real identity because you can't use those services otherwise and it might not be a choice but a compulsion for most.

What do you think is a good balance between maintaining privacy and reducing potential misuse in the crypto space?

What do you mean by potential misuse? You can maintain your privacy if you keep utilizing decentralized platforms as long as you can because it's not a permanent solution since authorities will soon target them as well and then there will be no choice.

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: How to do basic research?
« Last post by DabsPoorVersion on Today at 09:03:17 AM »
My roommate just got hired for some webwork from what I think is an upcoming crypto and I want to get in early, but I am not used to doing research on new companies, and I think the forum is blocking my post when asking about the company by name, so that is not going to work. How do I start on the basic research on a company like that to see if I should invest?

Doing research is as easy as doing your homework back in school days. All you have to do is to get the name of the company I'm question, make Inquiries of what they offer and their terms of service. You can also check for partnership and co operations. Investing In well know company will save you the stress of making working decisions but you still have to do research no matter what.
It's not as easy as you think. Doing research back when you are studying may be easy as you only need to look for a basic information without digging deep for more important information. It's not the same as using the google then put up what you are looking for, the first website or the information you see is what you think it is.

However, if you put more effort and time on doing research, there are more things you need to do. Like looking for different website to look for information, comparing the information that you are looking for, verifying that information and so on.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: BTC capitalization 1.29$ trillion
« Last post by bitterguy28 on Today at 09:01:00 AM »
Yeah I checked it now, its about 1.4 trillion at the moment. It is quite important to remember that we are a currency tho, not an "asset". Which means that it would be like comparing the "marketcap of us dollars", which makes no sense to be fair.

What you say is incorrect. Most of the world's legislation considers it an asset and the vast majority of people buy it as an asset, not to pay for coffees. It has a minority use as a currency but that does not make it a currency. Even in El Salvador, where it is legally recognised as a currency, it is hardly used for daily expenses. So it makes perfect sense to consider it an asset.
We can prove that with our own ways , that is is hard for us to use our Holdings to pay restaurant (as long as available though in my place it is  very limited that there is accepting bitcoin)
but once we become like EL Salvador then for sure I will use my bitcoin in daily basis.
