More interested in usecase or price?

Usually, in almost all cases, people invest in cryptocurrency in order to get profit, few people use the product of any company, but of course there are such people, I also sometimes tested some products, but after that I did not use them anymore.

I'm interested in usecase, but if we talking about investing in ICO, that price is matter, I was involved in a lot of projects and they always was interesting, but I never really used their products, because usually it's useless after all, they need much more money and time to be worthy competitor for IT giants

Based on your question, the answer is both because both will be of advantage to me as a person. I want the usecase as much as i want the profit.

Definitely use case as I prefer to invest long-term in a project. Good use case often increases token price in a sustainable manner, rather than a quick pump.

If you are a trader You just look of its price for short term use. While if you are Hodler you just look about all aspect including use case and the coin/token utilization  when it can create demand in the future and possibly to rise the price if the demand was boosted.

It can be both though. I've invested in some tokens/coins and using them as payment. I've also bought some coins/tokens with use case but only used for trading.

I obviously go with the use case of the project and have a nice product/technology it offers rather than a pump and dump shitcoins that will get you rekt if you're not very careful in trading that.

That's what differentiate long-term investors (holders) and short-term investors (traders).

I would ideally go for a use case also but i would not mind switching to trading if the chance is there to increase my holdings or profits.

I'm not sure this is so black and white being a holder or a trader. I agree in the general differentiation, but that long-term vs short-term investing are different strategies, not necessarily different people, I think this is a common misconception I believe. I will happily trade using my trading account for Satoshi profits, then hodl these profits in cold storage for example.

Fair enough, thanks for clarifying. I agree with the sentiment, many investors buy Bitcoin because it has been the best performing asset class in the past 4 years, as well as 10 years. I don't think the majority care so much about the use case, but rather as a store of value. This logic can be applied to other altcoins and project it seems, those that have outperformed Bitcoin in the past year for example.

In my opinion, they are not too interested in the use case because there are no 100% ICO products that will survive and are real, but how can they get the opportunity to trade and get profit from investing.

In my opinion both usecases are very necessary, the usecase of some coin enhances the popularity of the coin and also increase the community population and drive the enthusiasm of the project demand. As for me , i think i will prefert the "price" rather than "usecase" because,  as a trader, i mostly buy or sell with a little percentage prices deference.

cryptocurrency do not yet have such a massive application to be valued exclusively for this. I think it's so clear that people will come to this market first and foremost to make money. cryptocurrency is an asset in which you invest money to make even more money. If you look at the stock market then there is the same situation. People put money in shares of well-known companies in the hope that then these stocks will rise in price and people will earn even more money.
