Finally, after waiting for more than 120 years, Bayern Leverkusen successfully won their first Bundesliga title in the history of participation in the German top football competition. The victory over Werder Bremen make Leverkusen points not way catching up by Bayern Munich or Stuttgart, Xabi Alonso become most successful manager in Bundesliga because he win domestic league trophy most early with Bundesliga has 5 matches left.
Its not last tittle because Leverkusen has chance with another tittle from DFB Pokal up and UEFA Europe League, one step closer for winning DFB Pokal Cup and need to win in the final round.

Big win by Leverkusen, but Xabi Alonso could have a dilemma on whether or not take it easy for the remainder of the season and let the backup players have more play time, or to push it hard and go for increasing record of games without losses and total points in the season, currently held by Bayern at 91, but if Leverkusen keep their current average points per game, they'll end up with 92 or 93 points.

Big appreciation to Xabi Alonso who was able to show something stunning this season. They created new history by successfully becoming champions after 120 years of waiting.

This was very special for Leverkusen, I saw an outpouring of joy from them and their supporters. Xabi has made new history and proven that dreams are real this season. Not only that, they were also without defeat when they locked up the title and there are still other trophies that they are still fighting for this season and their chances are big.

Dortmund vs Leverkusen
        1                 1

Again, Leverkusen continues its unbeaten record after drawing again against one of the Bundesliga's top clubs, Dortmund. In this match, Dortmund almost won, and Leverkusen almost lost, really almost lost. They just scored a goal in injury time, just imagine how mentally prepared the Leverkusen players were at a critical moment like that. Of course they have pressure not to lose, for the sake of their record. And it's close, almost. Therefore, Josip Stanisik really became a hero this time. Thanks to his goal, Leverkusen didn't lose, only drew again.

You don't often see a team scoring equaliser in the 98th minute of a game  ;D
They really must feel invincible after that game. They'll have another tough league game against Stuttgart next week and will be playing against Roma in the Europa League semi-final. Last year both teams also met in the semi-final and Roma won 1-0 aggregate. I feel this year might be a bit different.

Leverkusen became a very solid team after being handled by Xabi Alonso. If we remember Xabi's first season managing this team, they were also able to move from the bottom until in the end they were able to get a place in the Europa League.

This season they started the season with Xabi Alonso and as we can see now, they have not had a losing record for a season, at least until now. This is a very good record, even Bayern Munich, who dominate the league, as far as I remember, have never recorded the same results as Leverkusen recorded this season.

It's fair to say that Leverkusen's performance under Xabi exceeded all expectations. There were rumours about him moving to a bigger club after the end of this season (Bayern and Liverpool were mentioned) but he confirmed he'll be staying for another year.

They're playing a potentially tough game tomorrow against 3rd Stuttgard (at home) and have an away game against Eintracht, who are currently at 5th place. I wonder if they'll have enough motivation to approach those at 100%, given they have nothing to play for other than beating the record of the most points in a season and adding to their streak of games without a loss.

Honestly, it was a very tense moment and made us think, ah, maybe this time Dortmund will be the first team to break the record, beating Leverkusen. And there are many people who think negatively and are stressed like this. But it's really extraordinary when you can actually equalize in injury time like that. We are certainly familiar with Real Madrid, with some of their scores often coming in injury time or extra time. but this is Leverkusen. Xabi has really succeeded in making this team extraordinary.

Indeed. Leverkusen performance is amazing, Xabi Alonso makes it to be a perfect season for Leverkusen. Until now, Leverkusen is still unbeaten, it may continue until the end of the season. No, Xabi Alonso won't move to any other teams, he clearly said to stay. Maybe he will move to another team when Leverkusen can win UCL trophy.  :D

They're playing a potentially tough game tomorrow against 3rd Stuttgard (at home) and have an away game against Eintracht, who are currently at 5th place. Leverkusen will try to keep the record of "unbeaten", it is a big motivation to win the match. Moreover, the match will be held in Leverkusen home, it is a pride to win the match. So I don't see that Leverkusen will let Stuttgart to win the match. Leverkusen will try to end the match with a draw result at least.

What do you guys think of the odds for Leipzig Vs. Dortmund. Is Borussia really that much of an underdog? Looks like a really good value bet, you could get odds of x2.40 for a double-chance bet (draw or Dortmund's win).
Do they have any red card suspensions or key players' injuries? I don't follow Bundesliga and BvB that closely so I don't know.

Looking at both teams, they seem to be on a very similar level in terms of league performance. Leipzig will have the home advantage, but their home/away stats show their points-per-game (PPG) for home games is greater than PPG for away game by +0.47 points, which is not that much.
Borussia on the other hand, tends to perform a tiny bit better in away games, their away PPG is greater than their home PPG by 0.20 points.

I hope so. I'm really curious how far they can go without being defeated.

You're right, they exceeded the expectations of almost everyone. I think no one expected that they would be as tough as this season, because at the start many people doubted Xabi Alonso's capacity to handle Leverkusen. but he has proven it now by successfully becoming Bundesliga champion for the first time in 120 years.

Even if we look, right now there are still people who say that this season is a lucky season for Xabi and also Leverkusen. We will see in the next season, whether those words are true or they are completely wrong.
