can gambling make some financially stable?

Someone, once told me that he became financially stable through gambling,I doubted. I want to know if anyone have a different view from me,if gambling have the capacity to make someone financially stable? I need your response.

I am not sure that either gambling will make someone financially stable or not but I am very sure that those who want to be financially  stable with the help of gambling end up getting addicted to it. Most of the gambling addicts are those people who want to make money with the help of gambling and in the process they lose everything that they have. When such people face huge losses then they will put more money into gambling in order to cover the losses and earn money from gambling.

But we all know that such people don't really make anything, however their lives get ruined because they wanted to earn money from gambling. Earning money from gambling is not for everyone, only those people can earn good income from gambling who are very lucky or we must say who are exceptionally lucky. It is just a game of luck and the lucky ones end up making money in the game of gambling but those who aren't lucky end up losing everything and in the end they get addicted to gambling.

for me I think does people you call the luck ones in gambling, are the people who have money and used big amount of money in betting.for example, someone stake a single bet with big amount to win half of what he bet, their is every probability that he we win, because the risk factor is very low.

I also think the same, besides that people who make very big bets and because they have so much money that sometimes they don't know what to bet on, for this reason when we are seeing that a person wins big it is because he is probably rich, and if he loses a lot of money, because it is money, it will not affect your life at all, you will not feel bad, nor will you have to look for a loan to support it, or anything like that, that is something that not everyone understands, where I live they say a very wise saying: "Money seeks money", a rich person can have a lot of money, and if he loses it it doesn't matter, because he makes a bet with double and is so lucky that they win, they recover what they lost and won more, then This type of thing is very relative to the economic situation of Each person.

I would like to have financial solvency like that but I don't have it, I have to do a lot of things, a lot of work to have money, but there are People who have Another type of luck and can Afford those luxuries in the casinos.

It all depends on the gambler, and his luck. If the gambler is a disciplined gambler, and knows what gambling is, if that person wins big, he can choose to quit gambling, and invest the money. However, he might not quit gambling but use the money to invest and gambke once in a while with little money. Such people are rare in gambling, because a lot of gamblers are gambling to make profit, and if they hit the jackpot, they will become more greedy, and feel that they can win a bigger amount than that, and d this will make them continue to gamble with bigger amounts, till they will lose it all. Gambling is a means of entertainment, amd if during the process of having fun, you hit it big, you can use the money to to become financial stable by investing it.

Every bet in gambling is uncertain. A gambler here can never be sure which bet he will win. If that is the case how can we expect gambling to work in financial stability? Just because a gambler can win big money from gambling does not mean that he will be financially strong. He might win big and then lose that money on the next bet so I can never reflect on my financial stability depending on this uncertainty. Well, it depends on his income and his stake. If a rich man gambles recklessly he will be affected. I have seen rich men go broke because of gambling. So, being rich doesn’t mean gambling can affect you negatively. It all depends on your level of control and discipline.

Most of the time no. Luck is one in a million so I don't think it will make anyone being financially stable. I can even see people here in my country being lucky in lottery but still they end up broke in just few months or years. Nothing can make someone financially stable because Life flows and money is needed to survive in life. This is why setting limit and sticking to it is important. If you set a limit you can easily control yourself and will not be bothered about losing too much
