Day trading and long term trading?

My assumption:
Daily trading mean that we trade and define sell target till the situation of the market reach price we want. But usually the profit I think not big.
Long-term trading mean that we trade our crypto and usually the sell target bigger than daily trading. And this trading activity like hold I think.

You can get profits in both of them. If you have a good idea about the two. When you get good knowledge in both of you, it will be easy to make your decision. Both are good for me. Because I get good profit from both. But my advice for you is day trading if you are new.

I just have some add in:
Day trader mean you open order and take profit in 1 day, the range profit here not fix and can be very small, like 4-5%. The purpose here is you get in and out in 1 day, so your fund is safe no matter the market up or down after that.
Long term hold only suitable for big fund and for those don’t have time to watch chart all day. In this method, the profit range is alwat higher, about 10% when you take profit.

Day traders usually trade regardless of the market condition. The do not really care whether the crypto is on a downward or upward trend. They trade base on market fluctuations every minute and/or every hour.

Long term trading is like accumulating coins everytime the price drops to the floor. Accumulation time usually happens for months. Then they sell their huge holdings at an appropriate time.
