yeah, we should divide our funds on long term and short term investment.
For long term, better to choose top coins, that proven and potential to survive at the next several years.
For short term, we can choose top coins too which have high trading volume.

I prefer not to invest in 15 projects because they are very difficult to follow. Polkadot is currently undervalued in relation to Ethereum and Cosmos, although I see that you want to invest in the top 5 ecosystem projects of the Polkadot ecosystem.

It is also better to invest but not with all the savings, but sometimes we tend to forget he risk involved in some of the investments we get into, i also understand that the motive behind every investment is to make profit but greediness to make much higher profits than expected makes some fall in the hands of scammers, one has to be careful and observant on what they invest on, some Investment don't even really worth it, just a show case to waste of time and resources. all now depends on where you are used to doing but I agree that both are always very profitable and it's just a matter of how we can do the best we can.
It's hard to guess the movement of crypto and there will always be unexpected things, so it takes patience and not to panic in anticipating things in crypto.

Crypto trading can indeed provide quick profits if we make good trades, but investment is also good if we choose the right Crypto project in which we invest. I think both of these methods have their advantages and disadvantages.

I think this depends on the conditions of the exchange, if the price movement at the exchange is busy then you can trade briefly to make a profit, but if the conditions at the exchange are like this it is better to make long-term investments until the conditions of the exchange recover.

I think it works both ways. But I am more into trading and that looks best to me. But you can choose to invest or trade as per your preference. Investing requires more capital while trading is quite affordable and you can earn consistent profits if you have relevant knowledge and skills. I would say it is ideal to engage in both as crypto is a valuable digital asset and can cater to both.
