Why i prefer Altcoinstalks more than Bitcointalk

Well, that's the way things are. For those who are already in high rank there don't need to feel pressured unlike to newbies. But altcoinstalks gives us all the chance for the position we eagerly wanted  and thanks to that.

I regret not using this platform all this years that I opened an account here. By now I would have become a very high-ranking member because of the better way it operates compared to Bitcointalk.

i have spend time on these 2 forums, and i think there are many differences now between these 2.

ALTtalks is easier to rank up than BTCtalks, its so much better for newbies... so i think in the long run, ALTtalks can do better. its really not easy to get merits. + i have to pay to be a copper member in BTCtalks, what kind of rule is that? and copper member still have many restrictions too... i paid and still get restrictions?? its really not fair for us.


however, this does not mean i hate BTCtalk, i still love both forums

There is no need for this comparison in my opinion because bitcointalk was once an easy forum like altcointalk to rank up, but as a result of too many spammers and account farmers the moderators change the ranking system,

Bitcointalk is more than 10 years and for the most part of tjose years members were able to rank up freely without any stress, so there is a reason for the change, hopefully this place will remain the same as it progresses or if the need arises look for an alternative method of ranking up that won't be too strict on members.

Copper Members are meant to have a certain benefits which doesn't mean you'll the benefits of a higher rank. Copper Member is absurdly cheap compare to a Full member rank so it's a fair trade. They have given you a statement from which you can choose to buy it or not based on the benefits they will give.

Though I really agree that the merit system in Bitcointalk is absurdly broken. They don't reward merit to constructive post no matter what you do. They only reward it to those who does guides and how to's which defeats the purpose of ranking up since in reality, newbies won't even bother making a guide as they are newbie themselves. Even Veterans won't since there's already a lot of guides out there. They are also meriting someone that they favor and tag users that they don't like.

Overall, Bitcointalk is controlled by some greedy men.

Altcointalks happens to be more flexible lenient and more accommodating when compared to Bitcointalk and that is owing to its recognition for blockchain decentralization without conditions, influence or control. Bitcointalk on the other hand seeks to control just about anything that flows through its platform meaning people don't have the kind of freedom that blockchain preaches.

I also feel the same way as you, because the rules made on the BTCtalks forum are very unfair for accounts that are rated small, hopefully there will be changes from the BTCtalks forum admin, while the Altcointalks forum rules are very friendly

I was a user of Bitcointalk-forum until 2018 and I was banned there for some far-fetched violations. But I continue to watch that forum and see there will be no improvements and indulgences for low-ranking users there. The bitcointalk-forum administration does its best to preserve privileges for high ranks and humiliate low-rank users and newbies.

Ranking up on Bitcointalk is not easy especially with the implementation of merit system. I'm stuck at Member rank there. In this forum, even new members who just got insterested in crypto during this pandemic can still rank up.

In my observation of BTT, a lot of people are stuck at Member rank because of the merit system. Moreover, they were stuck at this low rank for many months and even years, cause for most of them it will be absolutely impossible to collect the required amount of merit to move to Full Member. So we should value our forum even more, as it provides an excellent opportunity to reach high ranks and also has a friendly atmosphere for communication.

Hmm, You are right. Altcoinstalks rank increasing day by day by calculating posting/activity. And bitcointalk rank increasing by merit/activity, because of so much popularity of their forum. I mostly use altcoinstalks and love to use this forum. But i also like bitcointalk. Thanks.

Each and every forum has their pros and cons

it depends on what exactly you are looking for .

Altcointalk forum is more attractive than the Bitcointalk because Altcointalk forum cheating free.

Both are best forum for crypto treaders. Altcointalk is the common site that new comer enjoy this forum very much but that does not mean BTCtalk site not good. I think both the forum are use to good
