Hello, I am new in this forum but not new in cryptocurrencies, I started trading cryptocurrency in 2016 and my first cryptocurrency I bought that time is vergecurrency and other penny coin. And I returned my money in bundle because they have good tech and very good team..So early this year I noticed that a lot of coin is now scam and failed promises. So please if you want to buy any coin don't go to coinmarketcap only because coinmarketcap can list any coin without verifying it well, just go to their telegram group and ask questions I think this can help you stay away from scam coin...
-
depending on the purpose of the developer team.
if they want to be honest and successful for the future, the Altcoins should not be made a fraud.
because the sudh psati #DevelopmentTeam has a wealth of experience with cryptocurrency.
-
but unfortunately now there are many #DevelopmentTeam s that are less honest because they think of themselves
-
Ya because of the increasing awareness of crypto and the benefit of smart contract that ca generate new coins easily definitely more scams will flow into crypto market.
-
OK. This is a very logical suggestion and it is very helpful for me to choose Coins that are so appropriate and profitable. It is true that what you are informing, we cannot be guided by Coinmarketcap. because for me it's not accurate. What is more accurate is to find out by yourself in our own way, so we can make a decision to buy or not the coin.
-
Direct contact to the team is more reliable than in coinmarketcap or in any in direct means. New coins are not all scams but more are. So let us be careful to choose ICO.
-
I believe not all new coins are considered immediately as scam coin. My suggestion to the admin is that they need to screen the new ICO's that are using this forum on their scam project just to convince investors to put investment to their ICO and once they had build up more money in to their ICO, they will leave and leaving the investors behind.
-
Yes, it is a good thing to get to know new coins. Need to see their projects through websites and telegrams. Learning coins or new projects is very important to avoid losses.
-
Unfortunately I do agree with you, I have more than a hundred tokens from airdrop and selfdrop but since the beginning of this year and until now all those tokens are no value or lesser valued than expected from their token info.
-
You should constantly be aware of scams. Nowadays it's everywhere.
-
Everything can happened in nowadays. And A lot of New coin only copy the Old coin Feature and so that's why it's so easy to make a scam coin.
if you want to invest in ICO, i suggest you to really research them first. You can Join the ICO if their technology is really something, a new feature that other coin don't have,
their roadmap, their team, their advisor, you must check all of them before joining the ICO right now.
cause the good ICO nowadays just like we want to finding a needle in haystack. I don't say All ICO is scamming but Most of Them looks so scammy.
So be careful and do your own research first. Don't just follow your friend or just seeing unbelieveable ROI that coin promising to give it to you back.
-
People that have such thought are not to be blame because they maybe once victim from many scam ICO. ICO nowadays has opportunity of gaining success because most of them are just made to scam the investors.
-
Hello, I am new in this forum but not new in cryptocurrencies, I started trading cryptocurrency in 2016 ....
Since your rank have been Sr. Member + Jr. Spartans, it means you are not a new one in this forum. Moreover, you are an experienced trader by trading more than 2 years. :D
....So please if you want to buy any coin don't go to coinmarketcap only because coinmarketcap can list any coin without verifying it well, just go to their telegram group and ask questions I think this can help you stay away from scam coin...
Yeah, you are pretty correct. The safest way for investment is buying the top coins in coinmarketcap. For me, top 15 coins there are the best options.
-
Yes i agree a big amount maybe up to 90% of the coins that is flowing into the market most probably is a scam. We should magnify the remaining 10% instead of emphasizing on the 90%, if you are able to get the 10% potentially good coins the losses you make from the remaining 90% scam will be nothing compare to the small percentage of what the good coins is able to profit you with. In order to do that you need to do your through research on which are the good coins and scams.
-
A good and reasonable advice. So far, to buy altcoins, I always focus on looking at the rankings in coinmarketcap. Because I think coins that are ranked well, they are coins that are safe to buy. And I thank you for the advice you give.
-
but unfortunately now there are many #DevelopmentTeam s that are less honest because they think of themselves
You're right. Those people who are greedy for money. so before we join an ico project or buy coins it is better to check carefully and study so you will not be able to edge in the end. there are coins that are not scams but the value is small.

most of new coin are scam nowadays and they cannot fulfill their promises .And also i agree on your statement above that don't trust buying coin through coinmarketcap because we have no idea if it has a good tech and team behind 'cause most emerging project on that site is not reliable and turn to shitcoin after all. That why i preferred also to stay here in forum 'cause we can easily determine those legit and shitcoin through their whitepaper and ANN thread which is a good idea to obtain more information about the project.
-
Not all of them, But most of them are really scams coins / projects / tokens and etc. We must still believed that there's always once in a million.

Well i think not all of the coin are scam, some are good coin and some are maybe slight good. But we still need to choose a good coin and we can maybe earn a huge amount of profit if we are going to select the right coin to invest. Choosing good coin is really important in crypto so that we can earn a profit.
-
That is why there are new projects like Watchdog to help fight scam coins. They help verify scam ICOs. If you find anything suspicious, why not report them at their Telegram bot. Make sure to have some evidence why you think the ICO is scam. The good part also is that you will be rewarded with DOG tokens in rare cases.

What I know is for a cryptocurrency to be listed on CoinMarketCap it must pass all the criteria required, as follows,
- Must be a cryptocurrency or a crypto token.
- Must be on a public exchange with an API that reports the last traded price and the last 24-hour trading volume.
- Must have a non-zero trading volume on at least one supported exchange so a price can be determined.
- For market cap ranking, an accurate circulating supply figure is required.
And lastly, you have to fill up this form, https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeqpM6DVuxNRJ43oD90fCsm8UltR9oIiFaVxxqt3ch_eJ5Dlw/viewform
I also wanted to add, why are we here? Isn't it to make money by way of joining/participating in bounty programs to promote new coins? Have you ever think the coin you're promoting in your signature and in the avatar you're wearing is a SCAM for being NEW?
-
Not all new coins are scam but it is true that most coins/tokens nowadays are scams.
-
We can't simply predict that new coins are all scam. Though we know some of them are scam, but other ICO's are having problems also that may affect their projects and become a failure. Maybe some of them when they get listed, has no more value due to bitcoin's ongoing bear market condition. Some also are from ICO's with unsuccessful projects. Or maybe their team failed to do some strategic moves to keep their projects going.
-
There is possibility new coin are scam nowadays because this kind of coin is not yet registered into exchange and hopefully I am not mistaken because of this it can make all the members will quite so we want to coordinate in the organizer that it will not be happen as soon as possible to make the programs continued and the investors will support into the end.
-
depending on the purpose of the developer team.

Yes I agree mate. I think It depends the project's purpose and the team. We must be carreful.
-
Previously, the coins that came out after the ICO-it was easier ! Now new coins are under huge pressure from the market and regulators, there is also strong competition in the market.
-
There is no correlation between CMC and the listed project being or not being a scam. You have to do your own due diligence before investing as you can rapidly step on a mine if you go in blindly.
-
Have you ever think the coin you're promoting in your signature and in the avatar you're wearing is a SCAM for being NEW?
That's a decent point. How much research do you do on a project before adding their signature to your profile? I'm guessing lots of people don't look too much into a project and prefer to look at the rewards rather than it's future potential (or not). Should really have faith in a project if you're willing to put your name on the line for them. Obviously everyone is responsible for their own decisions, but helps if we are responsible too.
-
I have participate in many bounty projects over the past months. And it appears their coins are just worthless and full of scam. It actually make no sense to invest your time and money into a project that has very little chance of being listed on exchange. Or into a project, whose coin is worthless on exchange no matter the bulk you possess.
I think the scam with this new coins are increasing and gradually reducing the taste of the cryptomarket.
-
Yes, there are many scam projects that make tokens that have no value. they could manipulate the market to register their tokens on the coinmarket cap. This is very detrimental to investors who do not know the project.

No I think There is good coin, It is not scam. But We must be carreful to choose it.
-
Selection is a good thing for traders to choose good coins and can be used in investment and trade rights. If you are good at choosing coins then you will benefit.
-

Do you have any tips or strategy on choosing a good coin for choosing of new coins?
-
Yes many coins now are fake..made to cheat many people. Its very hard for me to know whats real and what is not, since im only a newbie in crypto, what im sure of is that im very much determined to learn more about crypto even little by little.
-
Coin market cap is one stablished site that only add coins whos they think valuable, but regarding to scam coins it's our obligations to make research before buying because this will never be their problem if we choose wrongly.
-
My suggestion to the admin is that they need to screen the new ICO's that are using this forum on their scam project just to convince investors to put investment to their ICO and once they had build up more money in to their ICO, they will leave and leaving the investors behind.
-
One must do proper research and analysis before buying any coin because by believing on other words you may loose you investment. Yes we should not rely the coin on the basis of listing on coinmarketcap. If you have any doubt about the project he/she can ask in Telegram group for more clarity. Always due diligence otherwise you may loose because its not a gamble its all about your knowledge.
-
saw the ICO project by looking at the team from the project they made, some misinformation made the Ico scam project can be seen more carefully looking at the image, the purpose and vision, the project's mission, sometimes the website could cheat us, they would say the Coin had been sold softcap but in fact there is no achievement of softcap and they provide false information
-
You're right, Checking whether the coins are listed or not in the coinmarket cap is important for us to ensure that the coin is legit. However, there are some news tokens or coins that have not been listed yet but they have good concepts and future. I think it is also important for us to know the technology, team, and concept behind the new coins. Learn more and analyze deeper.
-
Not all. There are some great ones.
-
With regard to fraudulent coins it is our duty to conduct research before buying because this will never be their problem if we choose the wrong. The coin market close is one of the established sites that only adds coins that they consider valuable.
-
I disagree if all new coins are scam because a small number of them are potential and good, just because the crypto market condition continues to decline causing this coin to be difficult to rise and develop
-
Maybe a scam maybe not.scam or not new coins depend on the team,if the team is good it may be not a scam.but if you want to invest by looking at coins in coinmarketcap, buying popular coins and have selling high volume,if such will be less likely a new coin will scam.
-
You're right some coins nowadays become a scam but I'm not blaming coins the dev of the project is responsible to make their project become successful and not turn into scam, but there are coins that has a potential even if its new in the market
-
I think there are still good coins coming out. Its not about the coin who are scam its about there team who are trying to scam people in their coins
-

If one want to buy a coin just depending on one website to make the decision is not advisable. Previously many people was saying many ICO benchmark sites take money from ICO to give good reviews what makes you trusting only one site be safe. Comparing with a feel site with similar nature cannot give you a 100% rate that the ICO is confirm legitimate but at least will decrease the chance of going into a scam ICO.
-
I don't believe for some people saying that all new coins are scam nowadays because there are still so many legitimate projects that give the allocated bounty rewards in fact just last month i received tokens from a new finished bounty program and is now listed in an exchange market.
-
Nope. New altcoins does not mean scam. There are altcoins that created intendedly to help the growth of cryptocurrency. The strategy of marketing of different crypto is important because sometimes the success depends on how good the strategy.
-
I agree that there are a lot of scams in recent times, but I don't think it should discourage people from looking at new investments. It just means that you have to be more careful with in what coin you invest in and not just jump into every coin that comes out. It all comes down to research, do your research and only invest in ones that you feel very comfortable in. If your unsure chances are your gut instinct could be correct. Use good judgment, otherwise you could be missing out on a big investment..
-
Not every coin is scam ,
Some projects do not have strong belief in their and so when they fail to raise a substantial amount for the implemtation purposes, they grow jittery and quit. It doesn't make the project scam.
-
A reasonable regulation will not be out of place as it's become obvious that the P2P suburbanite system is not enough to extend the market cap of cryptos and extension their costs. ICOs have to be regulated to create this area enticing to institutional investors and additionally to remove the scam comes whose sole aim is to nobble the investment public. that is an honest plan, i'd not take into account that as a result of we tend to are suburbanised however since numerous investors and bounty hunters losing their valuable time and cash, we want one that may regulate ICO to audit these ICO even those rating sites aren't serving to investors to choose the proper project to take a position.
-
This is a good point but i don't think all new coins are scam. There are a lot of new coins are coming in ICOs that is imbalance comparing to the liquidity of the market. Most of the projects' team are inactive, their roadmap is fake or not so much dedicated to complete the roadmap, some team left after taking the money from ICO. All aren't acceptable manner and not good sign for that coins price in the market. I agree with your last suggestion that no investors should buy any coin depending on the price chart by coinmarketcap.
-
I agree that most of new altcoins are indicated as scam coins nowadays. But I disagree if you said all altcoins are scam, there are some of them can be trusted. We cannot claim all coins as scam since there are some of them still good.
-
Different crypto marketing strategies are important because sometimes success depends on how well the strategy is played. The new Altcoin does not mean scam. There is an altcoin created intended to help the growth of cryptocurrency.
-
Yeah, you are rest. Most new coins popping up around the corner turns out to be run off scammers but actually not all of them are that. It just that it is hard finding a legit project to invest it. You have to dedicate your time to do so
-
I've had a lot of encounter scams and it's growing! my token is beyond 200+ almost all here is of no value and no exchange! when the team knows that the project does not have a hope they will just scam out and no longer tuning back the money to people. At the present time double the care. Be wise and research before investing or join the aidrop
-
Many new altcoins are scam, it is indisputable. I am afraid if this condition continues. It can reduce the trust of investors to invest in cryptocurrency. Scam coins can make investors to worry of losing their money and decide to not invest in crypto anymore.
-
Yes you are right most of the new coins are scam that is why you have to be very vigilante when it come to chosen of coin. Although is not all that is scam.
-

Please not that going to the telegram group to get information whether a coin is scam or not is not realistic. Any coin that is a scam would definitely shut down their telegram channels ones they have succeeded in defrauding investors and participants.
In addition, coinmarketcap is just a listing sites and was not established to confirm the genuineness of a coin/token.
-
Many new coins become scam or dead coins. That is why we need to select the right coins, especially from ICOs. I have seen many cases about scam coins from ICOs. Scammers become smarter and make different ways to scam people. So, be careful to choose crypto coins today.
-
I won't say that all new coins are scams. But, we also cannot ignore that many new coins are scam or shitcoins.
This is too bad because there are growing scammers that deceive many investors and participants. Moreover, there are also many shitcoins after being on the exchange, they have no value and volume.
-
New coins are represented by various teams from all over the world. Of course, multi-million dollar fees have always attracted and will attract various fraudsters. However, in any case, there will always be new useful ideas in ICO projects that will be embodied in their new tokens. Therefore, it cannot be argued that all new coins and tokens are useless and are frauds. We still see the emergence of good ICO projects, which, even in this difficult period, are successfully completed and continue to develop.
-
Well, actually, I also think so. In this dump market, I also find many coins that are scams, or projects offered are scams. It is very annoying because, in the bear market, they make the crypto worse. That is why we must be careful when participating or buying such coins.
-
It's true that CoinMarketCap is always active when it is full of Bitcoin trading volumes.
If the coin is good and the volume is small then CoinMarketCap will not display the best in the top ranking.
-
The issue of scam coins is not a new thing in the crypto space. It is not necessary that all new coins coming up are scam. This is why there has been several announcement made on the scam sections and other threads to create more alertness on these scam projects. Since it is a free market, it is also required of every investor to do a personal research into a project before investing in it.
-
it is true that today there are so many scam coins, and we must be more careful in choosing coins, and we should invest in large coins for the long term.
-
i remembered the days of verge and siacoin. they sounds like vet and tron of today. i wonder what this crypto space will be like by 2030. we might expect a token that might out-smart bitcoin if possible. i doubt if it will happen. with the way things are going we might see set of new tokens topping the list on coinmarketcap.
-
Yes brother you just say very important and effective information because maximum bounty campaign are scams and fake ico arrangements. I don't believe new coins.
-
There are not scam project. Most of the project failed to reach soft cap during ICO and turn out to be not paying for our work but it does not means its a scam project its totally different. There are many project out their bit only few to succeed. So better examined the project before join in to avoid waste of time.
-
Right. I already know that. Therefore, I have never made a coinmarketcap as a reference for buying tokens or coins. Better to visit their site.
-
There are many scams but certainly not all coins. Some coins are good to buy even they are still at low prices. We cannot blame all the mistakes on the projects, we also need to consider the bearish effect. So, we must be wise to deal with the problem.
-
Scams are everywhere and every time. They are always there and appear to crypto space. Until now, there is no way to stop the scams. But we can know or determine whether the scams or good projects. It is the only way to prevent from following scam projects.
-
Exactly. I personally find out some scam coins from airdrops or even the ICO or IEO projects..
They are very professional. But then, they are not worthy because of the scam. I think we need to be careful and smarter when choosing to participate or buy a certain coin.
-
Recently I read an article about the Envion project (they collected about $100 million on the ICO). Now the startup is in the process of bankruptcy. And as all well began.
-
I think in an extended bear market, when the market cap of altcoins is bleeding, then all new coins looks like scam - losing 90-99% of their value and ultimately many failing projects running out of money due to the volatility of Ether prices. Recently it seems like people are gaining respect for these newer projects with many already providing outstanding gains in comparison to Bitcoin and most of the Top 10 coins. My money would be on HOT and GRIN long-term, personally.
-
~snip~ But we can know or determine whether the scams or good projects. It is the only way to prevent from following scam projects.
Yes, we can avoid the scam projects if we want to take analysis. Even if there is 100 accuracy on our analysis but it is much better than choosing projects without analyzing them. If we have friends that already become experienced crypto investors or traders, we also can ask them to help us analyze crypto projects.
-
I also think so. Many coins are scams. I cannot say that it is mostly. But, so far, there are still many scam coins, failed ICO projects, or even the doubtful coins that we can find on the market or on ICO/IEO. Just be careful then.
-
Hello, I am new in this forum but not new in cryptocurrencies, I started trading cryptocurrency in 2016 and my first cryptocurrency I bought that time is vergecurrency and other penny coin. And I returned my money in bundle because they have good tech and very good team..So early this year I noticed that a lot of coin is now scam and failed promises. You are very correct brother, the best way into investing to a good coin is to make a good research about the project, what problem is the project trying to solve and how efficient can the project solve this problem and also the team behind the project. By so doing we would be able to know what we are investing into.
-

I must also tell you that must of projects telegram groups or channels could be fake channels and some of them has many fake admin that will always give a misleading information about the projects. I think there are a lot an individual could do to get clear information about some thwse project(s). Some of these are thorough research all social media sites, active crypto rating sites, project location, a true identity of the team members etc.
-
This is our warning to not buy coins without analyzing it carefully first. Because of the scam coins, we must beware that probably we are the victims. That is why we should be more selective in deciding which coins to be bought.
-
projects which have good ideas not working because of bearish market and hackers get all the investors many like hell :'(

Yes I think it is true. Several new coins are scams now. We must be carreful. Learn their white paper and team behind them
-
It is true that a lot of new coins are scam at the moment, we must be more careful to buy a coin, and we should invest in large coins.
-
I will not say all coins, but, many new coins are exactly scams. We can see on the projects of crypto, many of them are finished. But, nothing happened to the distribution of the coins. Moreover, they may have distributed the coins, but they have no progress on the exchange after many months.
-

No, I think not all. Several new coins are good adn very potential. Today, It just a crisis, I believe It will be ok soon
-
Well yes you are right but not totally right. Not all new coins or tokens are. Scam, but the ones created just to deceive people and scam them of their money
-
Quite right, many people understand that now it is easy to deceive investors through cryptocurrency and therefore these people create scam companies through which they collect an incredible amount of money and then just disappear with this money.
-
All new coins are not scams but a few coins scams. Please don't damage our market with scam ico and coins.
-
There are scammers in each market, but one failed project does not necessarily imply that people behind it had scamming intentions. Sometimes there is just a bug in algorithm which costs too much to be fixed and people just move from such project
-
Projects with a good community in any chat platform are good but the final result is still with the founders, as long as they are honest to the community scam will the prevented.

depending on the purpose of the developer team.
if they want to be honest and successful, the Altcoins should not be made fraud.
because the ultimate psychological #DevelopmentTeam has a wealth of experience with cryptocurrency.

It's true, that the running project must have a good developer, so that it can create good tokens too, but the destruction of tokens is due to the selfish bounry hunter and not thinking about the destruction of the token.
-
New coins are scam now a days because this is the only work in this time the market is critical so that we can trust this work.
-
That's what I think though, most projects that are sprining up now adays are scammy in natire, making it very hard to know which project is real and which is not.. but one thing in crypto still stands always make good research before investing your funds.
-
Projects with a good community in any chat platform are good but the final result is still with the founders, as long as they are honest to the community scam will the prevented.
You are absolutely right, the project became a scam or not actually depends on the ceo itself, the team cannot make a scam if the ceo does not want, the ceo has full control over the project, because the ceo has a lot of coins in its assets

Hey. Yes you are right, I constantly check the number of people in the telegram group of the project that caught my attention. If the group is dead it can be seen immediately. Feedback from the project management is very important.

I agree with you we must follow their official channel on the telegram groups, Facebook and another social media. Usually i asked them about their company behind the projects, the link source code of projects on github, and the team of the projects. It is important thing to be known by us before making investment in new cryptocurrencies to avoid scam, unfortunatelly there are no many people who know more about the fundamental of aspects of new cryptocurrencies.
-
One way for us to choose a good project is to look at the dev team's activities in answering all questions from members and updating information about project development in their telegram group. But it's not 100% guaranteed that the project is real, because scammers have 1000 ideas to deceive us.
-
not all coins will last for the long term depending on the founders and the commitment they make new coins is very risky to invest
-
~ Snip ~
That's why the IEO is now an option for investors, as you say if a lot of projects die and are abandoned by developers, and fraudulent projects scare many people, for experienced investors, I think they will still be fooled by new projects that are then abandoned. by the developer, so in choosing coins for investment, be sure to always see updates on the website and the telegram channel
-
Some people says that there are new coins that are scam because these coins are just new and their project are not reaching the softcap but i think the team are just working hard so that the projects will be successful.

So many scam coins indeed! Nowadays, people should be very careful about where they should invest their money. if you are new to cryptocurrency you should definitely invest in the 10 top cryptocurrencies because they are more safer compared to the rest. the scam is everywhere which makes it very hard to know sometimes whether the project is legit or not. OMG!
-
Almost many new coins are scam. Actually a project always depend behind the team of that project. So I think the coinmarket is the best option to choose a coin.
-
Absolutely Right. You should invest old coins. Every new coin will become old coin or die. The old coin history has a fantasy reason.
-
There are many new coins with scam issues. But I see some new coins become popular. Surely, not all new coins are scams, we mustn't claim that all new coins are scams. Do the research and see that those are good or bad coins. Then, you can conclude yourself.
-
you made a clear point on new project because they are all the same. they are all copy cats. have nothing to add to the current crypto trend. i have decided to abandon ICO. Best advice to investors to stick to the old projects and support them. they will go places.
-
Yaa true, about 60% of ICOs now are scam, serious caution need to be taken when investing in this projects
-
There are many scam projects in the last year. But I see the scams will be decreasing this year. With IEOs, many projects look good and can be trusted since they will automatically list their token/coins in good exchanges. It is likely not to scam project ideas.
-
We have already passed the worst time in crypto space. In 2018, many people got scammed and lost many funds. I think they already learned something and won't get scammed anymore.
-
Yes I'm agree with your opinion because in ICO market maximum coins are fucking and they never arrange IEO (internal exchange offering)... So be careful about this.
-
That's why before you participate in any new coins project you have to do some study of such project to know what they are into before investing don't just jump into new coins project but you to also know that not every new coin do scam project.
-
Yes we have many coins in the market even that is good for healthy competition in the market but in the past 1 year I saw many coins has been listed and now most of them are just worth of pennies. I always believe to avoid get scammed one must do proper due diligence before investing in any coin.
-
There may be some new coins who turned out to be scams, but I think there are also coins whose teams are true and dedicated to their projects. It is our task to find out who these true or scam coins are by studying them carefully and do a lot of research before deciding which to join or invest.
-
Unfortunately, even those good project turns out to be fraud, because they failed to reach their goals. They run away with their investors so as with the bounty hunters. Hopefully, their would be a regulation to stop the scam project in the marketplace.
-
I Think not all of the new coins are scam, others have a true purpose and usecase lets not generalized without proper knowledge about the what we said lets be fair and considerate since cryptocurrency is considerate in sense of its purpose.
-
Not only the new coins are scam but more than 90 percentage of the altcoins are scam. Most of them lost 99 of their value and gave most of the investors huge losses. I also lost a lot of the scam coins, one should be really careful before investing in any coin. There are no real life adoption of the cryptos
-

Most of the new ICO's are just plain sh*t projects but no worries IEO's are here, what is IEO? Initial Exchange
Offering is the form of selling a project's token throughout a trusted exchange that will minimize the scamming
behavior of some projects.
That's correct, before investing it is a must to do due diligence to protect your money from scam projects, ICO's
are no good at this time because most of the scam projects are doing its fundraising through ICO's.
-
Not all new coins are scam, there are some new coins that are coming up with new innovation that need to be embrace.
-
how many times will people think about going to coinmarketcap as part of the plans in investing on a token. this is absolutely rubbish. simply go thru the whitepaper, verify the team behind the project and how things go well else it might fail off even with professional as board members,
-
Many new coins are sCam, I agree but there are some new coins with potentials. One has to be very careful, go through the whitepaper paper, try to find out more about a project before investing. Even the scam coins most times looks very genuine, carefully reading about a project can reduce being scammed.
-
Some new coin are scum bat we not call all nwe coin are scum. Many Scum coin are available naw a days. But Some Trusted Coin are coming in this Market. For this Trusted coin This Market going up.
-
not all new projects become husks among one of those who are successful including those on the market fail because they cannot raise enough funds to develop their projects So be careful for new projects
-
Yaa true, about 60% of ICOs now are scam, serious caution need to be taken when investing in this projects
If you say almost 60% of ICO is fraud, can you give us data and other information?
Not all ICOs end up scam because the market situation is very difficult which makes investors invest in old coins like BTC, altcoin does develop the latest technology with their ideas, but many ICO that succeed even projects that do not run the ICO can last until now.
-
The truth is that we have many fake project flowing around now than we have good ones but we can actually get to know good ones by the kind of partnership they have, we should make sure we research about any coin before investing by getting feedbacks from community through telegram group and some social platform, we can also visit their website to get enough information.
-
it's true, there are a lot of new altcoin popping up and many are spamming, but there are also some good new coins, so we have to be smart - smart to find and choose a new altcoin if you want to invest in the new coins.
-
Yes, there are many scam projects that make tokens that have no value. they could manipulate the market to register their tokens on the coinmarket cap. This is very detrimental to investors who do not know the project.
A scam project getting its coin listed on coinmarketcap? This is quite weird and new to me. Normally, scam projects do not even reach that stage because most of them do not have working product and end after the token sales where the project makes their money. Anyway, investors must be cautious and always alert about this and must be ready to do their own personal research on projects before investing in them because it is a free market and there are no fixed regulations to check scam projects for investors.
-

no one knows for sure whether or not you bought a fake coin.to new projects need to be treated with caution. I prefer old projects which are 3-4 years or more and which are included in the top coinmarketcap. such coins as ltc, etc, eth, nem are my favorite. If you already want to buy a new coin then you need to study white paper, road map, team

Really. I think CMC is now being strict on listing. Also, they increase the daily required volume for a token or coin get listed. I just dont trust them before cause they list even shitcoin and known as pump and dump tokens. Good thing they now improved all the necessary requirements for the project. I guess the market now is goind. somewhere right? Hope you can advise a very good one on us
-
I think its not all. some are still genuine and honest, after the cryptocurrency popularity was increased many of aspiring tech start up has join the cryptocurrency bandwagon and aiming to disrupt existing centralized businesses or system. and because it was operated in Blockchain technology it means it was tokenized. so for me not all new coins are scam thats my stand about the issue.
-
There are always new coins being released almost everyday and its true that majority of them are scam or just not so competitive to such task in their projects, but there will be little chance of new promising coin
-
i was highly disappointed with this crypto buhaha. i finally run a cross check of all the airdrops i joined last year. only to discover that 90% are scam. they disappear leaving no trace of them. same might happen with current projects on going. we are yet to see the full business getting close to crypto because of the scams involved.

I would agree most of the new cryptocurrencies are just scam projects that wanted to steal our precious money in the form of ICO's
or anything similar to that with tons of false promises that will eventually never happen in the future but there are still few good new
coins you only need to make due diligence to find.
-
Most of them are scams. They want to take some money in the potential investors and run away that is why we need regulations in this space so that the investors have some protection in case of fraud. However not all new coins are scams. there are new coins that has new innovations in this space.
-
Yes I agree with you.
-
I think not all coins are scam, it is just turning scam when a project team and admins decide to be a scammer, also if the project fails and some people invest on it and the value of coins suddenly drop down, it is gonna turn to be a scam.
-
yes you are right scam a lot
and not only scammers a lot of projects that can not realize themselves
look at prices when exiting
no growth
tokens can't keep their price
-
Nowadays maximum number of Bounty Campaign are scams and fake because of the illegal Hunters and project founder. I think ico and IEO experts should provide a sticky rules among the scamming and fakeness.
-
A lot of coins are now coming out that do not have a real product. They are being inflated, they are collecting money from investors, and then the coin is rapidly falling, I think that in the future there will be not so many altcoins, but only those who are currently working on their product. So try to invest in coins from the TOP 20

Yes, there are a lot of new scam projects are coming. Even you can see many scam coins listed in CMC. After collecting and listing in the exchange, many coins/ tokens team become unseen. Investing in such coins/ tokens are very risky. These shitcoins are very dangerous for the growth of crypto market. That's why only old and established coins should be selected for investment.
-
I won't say scam unless new coins completes its roadmap but there are some projects their developers abandon their project and give no update of development/progress and implementations of the roadmap. Every coin has their own roadmap and we should not expect miracle with new coins in short time. It's not fair if we have a huge expectation from the new coins and we can not judge the performance of new coins on the basis of short time performance in the market. It takes time to implement the full roadmap of the coin then we can expect some price development in coins value till then we should also keep patience. Yes listing coin on CMC is not a guarantee of successful project we should also due diligence before investment.
-
many ICO scam in the last year, i think the reason that is the market go down and ICO did not engough money to start, so they scam and many investor lost money and many thing
