that there are even brighter , but the main problem of ETH nowadays is like what bitcoin is facing and that is when
there is congestion , the Gas fee truly increase so hard that we  cannot even use the network and needed to convert

Modifications of Ethereum from Proof of work to proof of stake made people to live the chain and to crown their worst thing they did, the staking made many people lost their chance of selling their coins at all time high. Ethereum had a run when they announced that the chain will be moving to POS which was smooth and the price went to $4000 but people who were bullish and convinced to stake couldn't stake and when all were unstake, they angrily sold and left.

Bitcoin collapsed, Luna and FTX are among the reason why ethereum has dropped like this and has remained dormant and now, they don't have any hype to pump the price but there has been ETH ETF lobbying that is going on. If that's approved, ethereum will have the same pump it had with Bitcoin but for now, I'm not too bullish until after halving.

Basically, ETH and most altcoins are still dependent on Bitcoin in the market. Except for the top gainers, altcoins sometimes surprisingly rise drastically in contrast to Bitcoin's conditions.
