The only time I see BTC not influencing altcoins is when it's the only crypto that's outlawed. Only then can ETH take over as the new King. Chances of that happening is probably 1% or less.

Bitcoin remains the King, Ethereum still has a lot to prove if it wants to take the crown and the decoupling was always a dream, but It’s never happening.
ETH is losing some ground to SOL, and they in time will lose ground to newcomers and every other judgment by people is just a statement about themselves.
do you believe in your statement, is it true that ETH is inferior to SOL at the moment?
Even though ETH is the top altcoin that will not be matched by other altcoins.
Depending on what you measure,  when you include L2, Solana usually remains behind Ethereum.
But Solana wins in some areas as an L1 to L1 comparison.
And if you're asking about winning or losing in market capitalization and trends, right now, yes, Eth is winning
However, the claim that Ethereum will not be matched by other altcoins is an overly hasty and inaccurate assertion.
A single point in time tells us nothing.
I don't mean to join you in your Ethereum vs. Solana argument but I'm curious about the congestion that was mentioned. Was it really that bad that it cannot be compared to the usual Ethereum network traffic? Or maybe it's the outage that happened three months ago?

This is the first time I've read that term used in crypto, it's often done in stock market. You'll have to completely trust the seller and whoever is the developer/founder of that project because that's clearly a huge gamble. You have no basis for valuation other than the potential upside of the token.

I wonder how the seller got a hold of the token. Was it sold to them through ICOs or other type of private sales? Usually, tokens sold through that method are still locked (non transferrable) until it's officially listed on an exchange (open market).

XRP - Ripple Forum / Re: Will we have XRP Spot ETF soon?

If Ripple does not act quickly, the attention of the crypto community may focus on SOL Spot ETF because SOL has also become a major player in this market and the demand for investment in SOL is also extremely large.
I think that is what's happening right now. XRP ETF is already at the back and talks about SOL ETF is at the front/center stage. There seems to be a lot of attention after several speculations on social media were posted and various articles news outlets were published. Stakeholders would probably capitalize on this.

Did they just invent a new term to find a new way to market their project? SocialFI? What's that?

Anyway, this might be one of the few projects that you could get in early before it becomes a trend and blow up. I view investing in this as a gamble that's why I do not recommend putting a lot of money. Think of it as buying a little and forget that you ever bought it.

If Xabi doesn't underestimate Atalanta, he won't play with a random person as a striker. He keeps their best strikers in the bench, it is very annoying for me. I know Xabi is not stupid, but it is a careless way if he didn't optimize the potential of the main striker in the final match. But sure, it already happended, Xabi must take a lesson from the match. I think it is okay to fail in this match, so they won't make the same mistake in the future.

It's always easy to point out mistakes post-factum, after the result is known. There must have been good reason for Alonso to choose that starting line-up, if he worked well, everyone would be praising him.
And I think Bayer's defence is much more at fault for the outcome than the strikers are.
Yes, of course, Xabi had all the reasons why he chose that line up. I'm also curious why he didn't choose the best possible starting players for the Finals? Were the strikers, that UNIVERSE mentioned, suffering from injury? If they weren't, then I would lean towards the reason that he underestimated Atalanta or that he was simply overconfident.

Pacers had another game in the bag and blew it. Haliburton didn't play and the Pacers got up 18 on Boston, still led by 9 going into the 4th quarter. Looked like they were going to pull off a miracle, but instead they went cold late in the 4th and Boston took the lead in the last minute. Boston won 114-111 and now lead the series 3-0.
It's almost the same as the game 2 of the Mavs vs. Wolves.

Pacers are not coming back from this, not with Haliburton injured. If ever, they can only extend this by one game and the Celtics will finish them at home. Too bad it'll end early because I expected more from this series.

With this two figures being isolated but exemplary examples for ladies, do you think we will see more female interests in the crypto space?
If you already understand that these are the exceptions, why would you still use it for a potential change in mindset of the general public (females)?

I read that women are the predominant consumers and that's why I don't think the numbers would change anytime soon. As an experiment, try to ask some random girls/women you meet and ask if they know what bitcoin is.

As a side note, I hope you're not part of a group that's low key promoting some CEX.

I don't care what he's done before but ANT made really made bad decisions in the final minute. What the F was that pass from their second to the last possession that became a turnover? His teammate on the right was wide open but he decided to keep on spinning and then threw a bad pass. Is it nerves?

Anyway, I enjoyed both teams fearlessly attacking the basket.

In your view, what will be Costa's plan when he faces Strickland in 302? I'd like to bet on him because of the attractive odds but I'm not sure how he'll approach it. The guy is a black belt jiu-jitsu but he also loves to brawl. Do you think he'll fight smart with takedowns and submission or he'll mostly trade punches?

I went for Pacers +10.5 again for game 2 and I didn't even bother to watch the game because I'm confident the bet would win ;D Little did I know that Haliburton was struggling in the third quarter and had to be sidelined for the rest of the game.

What's your read on West's Finals game 2?

While reading the OP, I was thinking of the possible power interruption in the area as the reason why they said the mining company could pose a security risk but then I noticed it's Chinese. That is all we needed to know. No need to think about crypto and blockchain technology.

Crypto Wallets / Re: Can PACK replicate BNB's success?
« on: May 23, 2024, 04:29:56 PM »
Is Pack another token under Hedera chain? If so, then why would you want to use BNB, the native token of an independent blockchain, to Pack which is a native token of a wallet? You'll probably have a better picture if you compare is to Trust Wallet's TWT.

Well, there are international tax treaties among countries and citizenship also plays a role in it. Depending on what was agreed upon, these laws are set to prevent double taxation for one individual. It would be possible that if you earn from working in Spain, the Spanish and the French Government could create a new agreement that you don't need to pay in Spain but you'll be required to report your income to the French Government. That sounds ridiculous but it's just an example of a treaty between States.
