I think this is a great decision by the Ukrainian government by not limiting themselves to accepting BTC, ETH and USDT20 alone. It’s better to have multiple options since there are so many cryptocurrencies in the market right now.

As Ukraine government already legalized cryptocurrencies, they are one of the crypto-friendliest countries in Europe right now before the Russian invasion started.
Kudos to Polkadot’s Gavin Wood for being a generous person willing to help out financially.

I think It will have good effect for crypto currency.
I personally hope the war will end soon and everything will be okay.

I also really appreciate the quick response of Polkadot coins to the crisis in Ukraine with Polkadots being given away for free and this is a very good symbol of humanity..
I think Gavin Wood is enough to give away his many Polkadot coins so that he can generate enough finances for the crisis in Ukraine and congrats for the Polkadot coins being accepted in the Ukrainian community.

Calls from the crypto community for Ukraine to accept other cryptocurrencies have been answered. The official Ukraine Twitter account shared that it will now accept donations from Polkadot DOT.

Totally agree with you, this is just a Win-Win relationship, and the fact that Ukraine has more money to restore infrastructure, take care of the people, those are good things that DOT funding provided.
Charity has always been a popular way to promote brands, as long as it's appropriate and beneficial for everyone. With the idea and the donation, Polkadot deserves to be promoted to crypto users as a means of promoting financial freedom and expressing the love of peace.

If in my position in Gavin Wood, maybe I will not be that simple, he is able to provide Polkadot coin assets only for donations to millions of USD.

Correct , war is war they need help no matter what form it is , either crypto or cash , either food or other things what is important is the thought of giving when someone is in need.
and also correct that this war must End , it runs for years now and the people are suffering and not the government.
