Well for now, even though etereum is experiencing a downward trend, EOS cannot be compared to eth. They will both surely recover from the dip but Eth will continue to maintain its usefulness. EOS really has a promising future and any thing can happen in the future.

As we can see now that both of these coins are having a struggle and not so strong in the crypto market but both of these coins will definitely survive because this is being supported by many investors.

Why don't we can compare EOS with ETH? It is faster and easier, it can be much better, but we have really big amount of different projects on ETH with tokens standart ERC-20, because of this ETH is much better now and it is really stronger ::)

Both of them will survive. EOS still need a lot of task to overcome ETH cause they still have a bug and hope the system will go stable in the nearby time. ETH still has a lot of demand for new coin / ICO to run on their platform. So at the moment ETH is more good than EOS.

The cryptocurrency industry is currently unpredictable, which is better, EOS or Ether. I think EOS is far from Ether in terms of market capitalization and price. But they are close to the features and functions. So, in my opinion ether is still superior to investment.

It will surely give a hard time to ETH, though taking over is still a far way and we don't know how ETH would evolve.
EOS was made to correct the defects of ETH with some of the people already involved in ETH and has a vibrant team.
On the other hand, ETH still have the larger number of brains and are too not sitting quite but are working for improving ETH furthermore.

EOS now has smartcontracts for ICOs and create new tokens.
It's a pity to make an EOS wallet that has to pay around 2-3 USD and that if multiplied by thousands of wallets, EOS can be profitable.
That is very objectionable for investors who are new to cryptocurrency that is different from the free Etehreum to create a wallet.

These two projects share certain similarities, for example, the smart contract technology. Ethereum was the first in the smart contract space and boasts a strong community. However, fans of EOS believe it improves on enough of Ethereum’s shortcomings to dub it the “Ethereum killer.”
However, it not easy to conclude that one of these is the best, at least for now, because anything can happen in crypto. I believe both are battling with smart contracts war, let wait and see who is the king in near future.

For me both will survive and remain a trend in ALtcoin as the best coin that Altcoin has. So I can't really predict the condition of the two of them in the future. What is clear is that my hopes for EOS and ETH are still fine and the price is increasing.

I agree with you but don't forget that the King of Cryptocurrency is always the power.
Bitcooin is King and everything played by Bitcoin, Ethereum and EOS will continue to follow the price of Bitcoin.

I think both coins will survive and this is because they are meeting needs or solving problems the the form of contracts and dAPP and this is unique which means they will always be needed at least for now

I suggest the same thing because I know Ethereum is very potential to experience a more rapid development. so this gives chances to gain a far greater advantage in future. other than that with Ethereum which has a high price, and supported by an ever-increasing development. so the price is soaring high in the future.

Everything has a bright future for next year and so on. Right now I am more familiar with ETH because I always use it to make fee transactions when moving tokens from wallet to exchange. For EOS, it is very rare for projects to use it, there are only 1 EOS-based token that I still have in the ICO stage. Hopefully EOS and ETH can be valuable crypto assets in the future.

Currently almost all of the altcoins are decreasing in terms of market price value but i think both Ethereum and EOS are good to invest as these coins will survive in the crypto market.Both of these coins are gaining popularity in the crypto community.

I do agree with you. For now, both are down as the market is not really that good. Comparing the two is a bit hard. I do think that this comparison between the two is more like between a veteran and a new comer or novice. Yet the two are almost the same in many ways. Being the veteran between the two is a great advantage that is why I would prefer ethereum but who knows eos will take over its place in the future.

Between EOS and Ethereum for me both can survive and have advantages and disadvantages of each. So I'm sure both of them can survive in the Crypto world for quite a long time if there are still many investors and Crypto users who use it to trade and invest.

eth and eos each has it's own distinct advantage and disadvantage.
eth - can be mined by anyone with gpu. plans to shift to pos algo so everyone with desktop can mine by just opening their wallet and stays online. used by majority of the tokenized projects.
eos- can be mined only by delegates thru dpos. selection of delegates is done by voting. main advantage is speed! currently the fastest blockchain, faster than bitcoin/eth combined by folds.
lots of current users still prefer eth, but some projects are shifting to eos due to eth traffic problems.
eth developers must come up with upgraded version or it may risk being overtaken by eos.

for me, I prefer ethereum than eos, because I'm sure that by 2019 prices will definitely rise again.
ETH is very good in the future because now it has created an ecosystem on their platform but it is not impossible that there will be a new platform that will replace because now more and more people are developing their own blockchain platforms.

Really I like both, especially eth cause their the 2nd generation blockchain which imitated by a lots of new projects and their project still on its early phase. A lots of development will happen on their platform in the future. Were still early adopters for ethereum. While EOS is keep their pacing fast, I can see that EOS made a lot of improvement from being an erc20 token now they have their own blockchain which is good on their part and turning point of their project.

As I remember EOS was top 3 coinmarketcap in 2018. But now it holds steady at ~3-4$. :( I hope EOS will be 30$ and get back to at least top 10 CMC.

Yes, I think the reason why EOS seems struggle, because There are more potential coin now. I think It is good for cryrpo currency market. EOS will take several years to be top 10 coin on CMC. Current EOS rank is number #27

I believe that a lot has already been said about the merits of the EOS in previous posts, but regarding questions about the confrontation between EOS or Ethereum, and whether Ethereum or EOS will survive, then I believe that such questions are generally inappropriate. Why you asked about this, because I see both are very potential coin. Ethereum is the King of smart contract platform, as many investors said. EOS is very potential and profitable coin for long term investment. So, I think both will survive.

Hey mate EOS and Ethereum two coins are very much popular and worthy for investment. So why are you compared with each other existence. Ethereum is the second favorite cryptocurrency in the cryptocurrencies market and eos also top ranked cryptocurrencies in market cap. I think both coins are lasting longer as cryptocurrencies lasting.

That's right, Ethereum is more potential than EOS, If you want to get profit for.short term, I think Ethereum is good choice. You can buy and use it for daily trading . I personally don't like EOS, I will choose DOT for my investment.

But If you asked which will survive, I think both will survive..
Because I see both are very potential and have big community.
I have invested in both and still believe they will have good future.

ETH and EOS are both good and they will coexist for at least 1-2 more bullruns. However ETH is better, has a larger community, a more diverse ecosystem, it has more potential than EOS.
I don't care much about their value, I believe ETH is 1/3 of its way in this bullrun while EOS trip is just getting started. So today I just sold ETH to buy another 100 EOS.

Both will survive with their own way, eth with system and fundamental, eos with innovation. Choose both will create higher opportunity to make income but of course fees should solve first. Why don't we can compare EOS with ETH? It is faster and easier, it can be much better, but we have really big amount of different projects on ETH with tokens standart ERC-20, because of this ETH is much better now and it is really stronger ::)

I don't think that Eos needs to be compared with such a popular project as Ether, before maybe it could still compete with Ether, but now this is no longer relevant. I don't think that any project will be able to compete with the Ether project, there can only be one project - BSC.

Eos, which was once called to surpass Ethereum, unfortunately could not even come close to Ethereum. As it is far behind in terms of price, it has not even been properly active lately. Instead of Eos, quality crypto money such as Solana and Avax came out. Eos is now history in my eyes.

Definitely there is no doubt ethereum is the survivor compared with EOS actually the whole crypto users know about ethereum but it's major problem is scalability and gas fee but it will be fixed in the next year Q1.
