Exactly when will Bitcoin halve

The max supply of Bitcoin is now 21m BTC from a total supply of 19.64m BTC, will there be more additions, then what is added is the total supply or max supply.

Maximum supply is maximum possible supply!
If the entire earth drops Bitcoin mining now there will be no bitcoin mined and we'll be stuck  with 19,644,375 BTC and we'll never have 21 mils.
19,644,375 BTC is the current circulating total supply, it will go up by 900 tomorrow, 900 the next day and it will keep growing after the halving by 450!
Common misunderstanding but the maximum supply or the circulating supply of bitcoin will not go down after the halving!

How do you predict that after Bitcoin finishes halving, will it be the same as in 2021, which immediately experienced a considerable decline or will it continue to rise?

Sorry but I don't predict things, Bitcoin has shown to not care about anything so trying to draw TA charts or throwing darts at pieces of paper with the prices on it while blindfolded will be just as precise, trying to guess it is a waste of time.

Perhaps you should check coingecko Bitcoin halving landing page., you will see the remaining countdown days to Bitcoin halving and the block it is going to happen.

What you need to know is that Bitcoin halving is programmed to happen at block #840,000, as soon as that block is mine, the miners reward is going to be reduce by half and but days to which this can happen may alter since block comfirmation times can change sometimes, it's average for 10 minutes but sometimes, it takes more than that average time for a block to be comfirm, if we have plenty of this occurrences, then block comfirmation time will alter the time of Bitcoin halving. Be using that page to check for the countdown, no need to confuse yourself further.

Halvings are determined by blocks not by any precisely specified time and happen every 210,000 blocks. So the next halving will be at block 740,000.

A little correction from me, the correct one is at block 840,000

The easiest and most valid way is, open the Bitcoin blockchain explorer website then wait until the 840,000th block arrives, that's where the halving moment occurs.

For example, I opened mempool.space, it will look like the image below



Currently, the Bitcoin blockchain is in progress at block 833111, which means it still needs 6899 more blocks to reach block 840,000.

The estimated process for one block is 10 minutes, but that is sometimes faster and sometimes longer, so the estimate will always change depending on how fast or slow the block completion process is by the miner.

Well, sorry but I think you are wrong, if we know how to look through bitcoin blocks, and match it with our current date and time, it's easy to the exact date when the next halving will occur or happen, this I believe what big platfoms like Binance exchange, coinmarketcap and several others have done and have come up with the day in which the next halving will occur, there is already a count down to that date on all the platforms that have researched and confirmed the day the next halving will occur, so for now, I do not see any reason why we can't or should not believe those data and make us of it.

It says 74 days on January 29, so that is Friday, April 12, 2024
As we speak their calculator says
47 Days 11 Hours that would be  Saturday April 20, 2024!

Also funny, Binance says 45 DAYS 06 hours from now, so at least one of them will be wrong!

It has been provided by coinmarketcap to see when the halving will occur, but the most important thing for me is not the halving which will occur in the next few days but I am really waiting for the bull run which usually occurs after the halving occurs as happened in 2021. because when a halving occurs there are usually no significant changes until a year later the bull run starts, I have noticed circulation like that from several halvings ago.

Anyhow, we're estimated to be almost exactly one week from the halving. The price is taking a beating with over 7% dump in a space of 6 hours, but looks like is slowly climbing up again.

Honestly, I thought that the halving would become less important with time, but it is obviously the only constant that we can (somewhat) predict when it comes to Bitcoin, so people still focus on that one point as some kind of start from which everything starts. It's not that the thing is completely pointless, but when you experience 2 halvings, then the third one isn't so fascinating anymore, right?

Why would this be relevant anyway? To a typical member or user of cryptocurrency, what's the point in knowing the exact time? I think it's important for miners but normal users don't really affect in terms of what's it's going to do.

I think Bitcoin halving this year will just be a meaningless word, if the news about the Western world is not good then Bitcoin will continue to be red, there will be a lot of Bitcoin sales and not just Bitcoin but other crypto coins as well.
The current Bitcoin cannot be described by indicators or candles because they are useless if the elites have moved in.

Bitcoin halving isn't useless. If there is no halving, it will accelerate the mining of the remaining coins. Also, if there's no Bitcoin halving, no new ATH will be created. The history of halving indicates that the price will explode. This is what most investors are looking for because the potential profit is huge. We are very excited for the halving and hope that everything we expect will materialize.

Since Iran striked Isreal, so many people have been saying this is why BTC price is down and how it would keep the price down, but i seem to disagree, i just think this price correction will be for a very short time and would not be significant.

There's been good events for BTC so far this year, especially with the spot etf approval in the U.S market, so i don't think one 'negative' news can keep the price of BTC down for a very long time.

Whenever there is a significant fluctuation in the price of BTC, we often seek the reasons behind it. War, FED statements, and presidential elections are often cited, but I believe these are just one part of what drives BTC price adjustments. Another part comes from the intrinsic nature of BTC itself: BTC price has been rising continuously since late 2022, creating uncertainty in the market. The number of profitable BTC is above 90% (on-chain data), which could suggest a reversal for reaccumulation before BTC can resume its growth.

Some argue that the positive impact of halving has already been absorbed into the BTC price, and that halving could be a sell-the-news event: we may see a slight decrease in the BTC price followed by sideways movement after halving instead of strong growth as scarcity increases. We will wait to confirm this hypothesis on April 19th.

Quite interesting. From what I have learnt, halving process is initiated after all 210K blocks have been mined. Clearly, no one knows the exact time when all blocks would be mined. The predictions made are based on mathematical calculations, using a specific mining rate/day as a standard for calculation.

I agree with you. If anybody actually knows the time, minutes, and seconds that halving will actually take place, then they will just say it in their post. I have lost count of how many topics I have seen on this forum and the other forum about people saying that halving is just a month away, just a week away, and just some days to go  like the OP said, but no one can know when this will happen. All we can say is that halving is going to take place this month when the number of blocks hits 740,000. So, we are expecting it sooner or later. Some people are already saying that it's going to happen on the 17th of this month.
