I think It is possible, because I have seen many people said NEO is Chinese Ethereum and I also heard just rumours the Chinese govs will support this coin. But I think It just rumours. I think NEO has potential to be more popular and this coin has good technology.

The Chinese are highly nationalistic, and their support for Huawei in the matter of the US has shown that. I think with NEO too, they will support a domestic blockchain platform instead of Ethereum or EOS.

I agree with your opinion about Chinese government has support Huawei. I think Chinese government also will support their digital currency like NEO. NEO is Chinese Ethereum and smart contract platform. I hope this coin will be more popular at the coming future

It's hard to say yes because Chinese people definitely don't all choose NEO, because they have the trust in Bitcoin they are more Bitcoin than NEO.
NEO is indeed a coin that comes from China but not all of them are as desired, because now many who come from that country choose to work for other countries.

I think I have read about it. I hope It is not rumours, Chinese government will support their currency, like NEO and ontology. If the Chinese government support them, I think we will see they wil be big coin  mate. We all know who is Chinese.

I think this is an urban legend. :) can also be called a great marketing strategy. When people heard about this, they raced to get a neo. :) but the actual situation was different. Coins do not have citizenship, citizens do not have tied coins. markets run on more rational things.

I don't believe Chinese government will support NEO, I think Chinese government will create their own Crypto market. We all know , Crypto currency cannot be controlled, So I think government will not support Crypto.
