I've always made bitcoin an investment that can get money to buy what we want. I never thought of bitcoin as a payment transaction to buy anything. We must change BTC to fiat

Most people have that BTC to invest in order to get profit, not with BTC what can you buy, but to the profit that's what is used to buy something what we want, BTC is always used to invest, that is in my opinion

I only have a few tens of dollars in BTC and I'll probably never get a chance to use them to buy anything. In Vietnam, using cryptocurrencies for payments instead of fiat money is considered illegal and runs the risk of being imprisoned for intentionally fighting the government :)
However, I still hope I can do something about it in the future when BTC is widely accepted worldwide, such as buying a guidebook on how to make passive income from the PoS network of Bitcoin ^^

I have bitcoin. With these btc I can't use it for any purpose. Because bitcoin or cryptocurrency is still banned in our country. Bitcoin users are imprisoned in our country. My country prohibits using Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrency for payment, but my country does not prohibit its people from investing or trading Cryptocurrency.

Yes, I bought different coins with bitcoin. I had bought some coins with bitcoin before and I got a lot of profit from there. At the moment I have bought some BNB coins and some DIA coins with Bitcoin. Maybe if the market is good I can get a good one from all these coins.

In my country, it is forbidden to use Bitcoin for a payment tool, so I just use Bitcoin for a crypto asset. To pay anything, I need to convert Bitcoin to Fiat. Yep, the regulation in my country still doesn't allow us to use Bitcoin for payment purposes, but the government allows us to make Bitcoin as a digital asset. I think it is not a really big problem as long as it is legal as an asset.

Never, I hope that I can. But so far, in my country, BTC or other cryptos are only legal for digital assets, not for payment yet. Although the government is starting to accept the presence of the crypto. Here, if there is something big for industries that accept BTC as one of the payment, I will be glad to use it. However, those are commonly in outside of my country and I still don't mean to have certain transactions.

I never bought something with Bitcoin. I only use Bitcoin for trading or investing. I think Bitcoin commonly use for assets right now, maybe in the future we can use it as a payment tool. There is a big chance for Bitcoin to be a global payment tool as long as people are interested to use it and the value of dollars is getting to drop more.

I just used Bitcoin for. investment mate, I didn't use bitcoin for payment, Because I see bitcoin didn't accept at several countries.
I hope bitcoin will be permitted at the all countries, because I see bitcoin is very potential for investment and good payment.
Maybe We will see at the several years again, When the crypto currencies is majority at payment.

I don't have Bitcoin. But I imagine myself own 1 bitcoin, never to use it as a method of payment. Better investment than bought something and pay Bitcoin. Foods, cars, house, clothes will not become valuable but Bitcoin will.

Yeah I have used some of my cryptos to shop online including bitcoin. I go to know about Crypto Posters through NOWPayments (https://nowpayments.io/?utm_source=xqanxxx&utm_medium=ambassador&utm_campaign=np) website as they were responsible for processing crypto payments on their behalf. I got to know it easy to start accepting crypto with NOWPayment's API, buttons and plugins for e commerce platfroms.

I did, I bought a frame from a bidding on the other forum. I also bought subscription with the use of Bitcoin. Majority of my gadgets are bought in Bitcoin though it went through a third party application since some hope don't accept Bitcoin directly so I have to convert them in fiat and buy the gadget.

No, still now I don't able to buy anything by use bitcoin but I have some bitcoin and I use it for investment. and some of my bitcion I hold for future because I think the price of bitcoin and future of bitcoin are bright.

There are some Country where bitcoin is not allowed yet. For this reason no one can't buy any thing by bitcoin directly or there is no ATM booth after all there is no authentication of btc. That's why btc investment is the only process to buy and sell.

I trade Bitcoin with different pairs so i have hold BTC whether Bitcoin increases or decrease doesn't fact. Recently i have bought a small amount of Bitcoin which i used it in trade. It was very interesting for me to see how the participants of this forum will answer this question. Of course, the answer to this question was predictable. With very few exceptions, no one buys goods and services for Bitcoin. Unfortunately, Bitcoin remains primarily as a store of value and speculation in this market. It never fulfills its main purpose as a means of payment.
Most are hoping for and keeping prices going, which is not good.

I use bitcoin as investment, because in my country bitcoin didn't allowed yet be payment method.
Maybe at the next several years, while bitcoin allowed as payment method we could buy anything in bitcoin.
Hopefully bitcoin will exist, not be blocked by the government.

I remember the first time and maybe the last time I have used BTC to pay for anything was back in 2016. A colleague of mine introduced me to a site we needed to register for and the payment method then was BTC and this happened to be at the end some scam program we were registering for. I never really again used it as payment but just as an investment.

I’ve toured a few online markets to see if any products I can purchase via Bitcoin. But I failed after so much wandering or searching. The world famous online shopping doesn't even support Bitcoin which is very frustrating for us. But if the spread of Bitcoin spreads all over the world then maybe all the markets will support Bitcoin and I will be able to fulfill my dream.

Here we cannot buy anything with Bitcoin directly, because here the government has not legalized Bitcoin as a transaction tool. We here simply invest and trade Bitcoin for profit. And henceforth, we will exchange Bitcoin for Fiat if we want to buy something shopping.

Buy anything with bitcoin ? It can do , if the stores allow bitcoin as payment.
But not all of stores accept and allow bitcoin. I think It will take several time.

Clothing
And more...
For years, I have also used Ethereum, but much less since a few years ago it was not as popular as Bitcoin. In my country there has never been a problem finding stores and businesses that accept Bitcoin, especially since 2015, when Bitcoin became much more popular.

I'm buying stuff like domains and software and subscribing plans and three years ago now I shifted to domain registrar and hosting that accept Cryptocurrency I'm having a hard time funding my Paypal and do not want to expose my credit card and the big shift greatly benefit me, you can buy almost anything using Cryptocurrency because of the adoption.

I used bitcoin for bought Website Domain and one time i used bitcoin for buy a mobile phone i didn’t use my bitcoin for any others physical market.

Until now, maybe I haven't bought anything from Bitcoin because I prefer to hold Bitcoin until the price is 100,000 USD and if it reaches that value then I will sell it to keep my savings in the bank.
I like this kind of thing because I am sure that this Bitcoin will have that price and the value of Bitcoin can break through the price of more than 100,000 USD, we can see that the supply of Bitcoin is very limited.

Me too, I only used bitcoin for my investment. Because I never used it for payment method, as OP said bought anything with bitcoin.

The tokens you buy are very good and if you invest in Bitcoin you can make a lot of profit. You can make a lot of money in the future if you buy this coin.

I have a baby and Bitcoin was invested for my baby's needs and it really helped ease my husband's burden and therefore I used Bitcoin for baby needs and not bought for unnecessary things.
And it's also nice that Bitcoin is traded every day on Binance and it's simpler than others, for example trading Bitcoin that is paired with BTCxEthereum or BTCxBNB and the profit is taken from the Satoshi fraction that you get.

Bitcoin and various altcoisns that I have until now have not been fully sold because I am also sure that cryptocurrency is a future asset that can increase rapidly many times and my target is definitely there but not now.
I only sold 1% of the Bitcoin that I owned and 9% of what I sold, so 90% of my total cryptocurrency assets are still in my wallet and I also sell that to repair my mother's house because the house really needs to be repaired as protection and a place to rest.

I only bought altcoins with Bitcoin, cannot use it for buying goods in my country. We are only allowed to use Bitcoin as a digital asset, while for buying goods using our national currency (Rupiah). We have a regulation that we must obey it, now crypto is illegal to use as a payment tool. It probably takes a long time to ensure the government to use another currency in my country. Since a long time ago, we only can use Rupiah as a payment tool.

I use BTC as an investment, as well as trading. And when I want to buy something, then I will exchange my BTC for FIAT first.
Here it is not allowed to use Bitcoin as a means of payment, but I am happy even so. Because we are free to do anything in Cryptocurrency, including trading and investing.

bitcoin in my opinion cannot be used as a transaction tool for the long term or long term because bitcoin has a limited supply and has expensive transaction fees, it will make bitcoin users if they make transactions with small amounts or values, they will be considered again.

If in my country, we could buy anything with bitcoin , I will do it .
Maybe It will happen when everything will be crypto at the coming future.
It's just matter of time , we will see the digital era at the next several years again.

I have tried to buy thing with bitcoin and other crypto but here has no system like this. Even if you talk about crypto here in public place, you will face trouble and may get arrest by the police. This is why I have stopped for looking any place where bitcoin can be accepted to buy thing. But no worry, because soon my country may accept crypto and we will face it use case.

I have no experience yet of buying any items with Bitcoin, But in XRP I already tried it. I was bought in one of the well-known fast-food chains in my country and the food was get delivered in my place because my fiat is not enough at that time, the delivery rider was given me an option if I have a credit card or even a cryptocurrency and he will accept it and that was my first experience buying food using XRP as a payment.

There are many restaurants (not just fast food) where they accept Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as a payment method, most are in the United States, Europe, and South America. Although it is not yet something that is very widespread and only large companies and franchises dare to do. In my area there are no shops or anything that accepts Bitcoin as a means of payment.
But I often spend from the profits I get from this Crypto/Bitcoin through trading or investing, Usually I exchange the Cryptocurrency with FIAT and then I spend it.
The point is I am happy to know Cryptocurrency, although I have not been able to spend it directly but knowing Bitcoin for me is a very big advantage

What's wrong with limited supply? People don't require to use 1 BTC for every transaction. There is no problem with its supply, Bitcoin basically is created to be a payment/transaction tool. But considering the transaction fees, it may be a bit expensive now. However, it is still much better if we compared it with ETH transaction fees. BTC transaction fees look reasonable, while ETH transaction fees are quite worrying.

Not yet, Because In my country didnt allowed bitcoin yet.
I only use bitcoin for my investment.

It doesn't mean prohibit Bitcoin totally. But the use of Bitcoin is still limited, only allowed for investment and no for payment purposes. If you are talking about Indonesian laws, in our country only Rupiah can be used for payment purposes. It is stated in the laws, so I doubt Bitcoin can be used for payment tool in the near future. We must revise or change the laws if we want to use Bitcoin for payment purposes. And I think it is a bit impossible.

No, I just used bitcoin for my investment and doing daily trading.
I didn't use to buy anything yet
Maybe at the next year will buy several device.

Not really and I really don't intend to. I will rather have my Bitcoins as an Investment and Hodl them till such a time I feel it is right to take profit and will sell to my local currency for use and besides, not everything we want is sold for BTC :D

The question is not even clear that actually asking for buying something from online or shop or else do we trade in exchange with the pair of btc. Its rally mafe me confused. However i just wanna clear the point here that i never bought anything by btc cause it is not allowed here in my country on the other hand exchange is always our must using platform where we can trade easily with the pair of btc. Its a easy made answer of your question if wanna know more please quote and ask.

As OP said Bought anything with bitcoin, If bitcoin allowed by many government, I think It can be.
But for now, I think bitcoin just suitable for investment.
El Salvador allow and adopt bitcoin, maybe you can use bitcoin for payment there.

I'm still in college and I use the Bitcoin trading results for my tuition fees, such as pocket money, transportation, semester fees and all the financing for my college.
I am also sure that this Bitcoin has a very good future for finances who work in the real world without salary income and this Bitcoin can be used as a second job, like me while studying and trading Bitcoin.

I got Bitcoin that may not reach the value of 0.1 BTC because I am also not skilled in mining, trading, investing because all I can do is look at the Bitcoin price chart and continue to campaign on this forum with burning enthusiasm.
If time could repeat itself then I make sure that I feel sad that I have sold all the Bitcoins for the purposes of my house renovation and maybe it will get there when I have Bitcoin at a low price and sell it at a low price, unlike others who sell Bitcoin at a high price.

Actually I wanted to make purchases using Bitcoin in 2018, but at that time government regulations prohibited payment systems using Bitcoin, so until now I only used BTC for investment and bought other coins on the crypto market.

Still i am not buying anything with the Bitcoin because still not the most famous sites will except the BTC payment but i hope soon that the world famous sites will except the BTC and also the other crypto coins and that time i hope we can easily use the BTC as in the payment. Not yet. Here in our country using Bitcoin is not well known. We are many crypto adopters but not huge to the point of influencing government to use crypto. What we do to our crypto is exchange from crypto to fiat nor invest from fiat to crypto. Thats the norm for now. But I believe in due time things might be change as the world is fast changing.

the rules in each country are ensured that there are no similarities, maybe for countries that do not prohibit the use of bitcoin as a means of payment, of course there are no problems to worry about anymore, everything can be done. but we also know that there are still many countries that do not accept payments with bitcoin but allow transactions by first replacing them with the applicable means of payment.

I am new to the form but as far as I knowI've always made bitcoin an investment that can get money to buy what we want. I never thought of bitcoin as a payment transaction to buy anything.
