What happened to LIBRA?
It started with the Bitcoin Bullrun in 2017 and Facebook finally got hooked on the idea of creating a cryptocurrency.
But until the Bullrun stops LIBRA leaves itself without any further development.
Now Bitcoin has entered the Bullrun market and reached a new All Time High, but LIBRA is still standing still and just changing its name to DIEM. What happened to LIBRA/DIEM ?

The appearance of Libra / Diem has nothing to do with the state of prices in the cryptocurrency market. Governments and their regulators have feared the growing power of Facebook and the potential for abuse with the combined data of its users. Therefore, this stablecoin, which has not yet been issued, still has certain difficulties with the future circulation. To get away from the US regulator, Libra is registered in Switzerland with the name Diem, but recently one of the companies in England announced that they have been using their cryptocurrency with the same name Diem for a long time. Zuckerberg was out of luck again.

I periodically check this section for news about Libra / Diem, but there is still nothing new about the release of this sensational stablecoin at the time. At the beginning of December, it was promised that Diem might appear in January, but he passed, and we still do not see the appearance of Diem. The new difficulties with the Diem doppelganger are apparently not resolved. Zuckerberg is losing more and more time and his chance for the importance of this stablecoin among cryptocurrencies.

Facebook's Libra cryptocurrency is readying to launch this year (2021) but the future of this crypto is not pre-determined. It may do well out of the chute; it may tumble. I’d recommend waiting for some kind of track record allowing some price action analysis and only consider it then.
