Title: Brave swag: where you can pay BAT token

Privacy-oriented Brave browser's Swag Store now sells non-fungible tokens (NFTs), or digital collectibles that are tokenized on blockchain.

Brave has partnered with Origin Protocol for the initiative, which powers its store via decentralized e-commerce marketplace Dshop since April last year. The extended partnership now allows Brave to sell NFTs in return for crypto payments.

Swag Store accepts ether (ETH) and Brave's native basic attention token (BAT) for payments, in addition to credit cards.

I came across this article by chance and got to know Brave's market, called Swag. It is interesting to see this market more and more items and buyers can use ETH or BAT for payment.

Have you ever bought anything on the Brave Swag? Do you think in the future Brave will focus on Swag to turn it into a major e-commerce platform in crypto sector?

I have never tried to buy anything from Brave Swag but when I tried to access the website it was very interesting.
I assume it will be a good and lasting online shop because it is oriented towards purchasing souvenirs using Basic Attention Tokens.
The more adoption of Basic Attention Tokens in the commercial business, the better the chance for Basic Attention Tokens to survive.

We can see that Brave is expanding its market: from the browser market to the e-commerce market. As a result, BAT has more real value instead of just a payment method for advertising on Brave. We don't know Brave's intentions on BAT yet, I wouldn't be surprised if BAT becomes a way for users to pay transaction fees or participate in exchange IEOs.

To be honest, I don't think I'm ready to use BAT for the purpose of buying anything, because I believe the price of BAT will grow very impressively in the near future. And maybe in the next 1-2 years, people who have used BAT will regret using BAT to shop for something whose value declines over time.

I understand that there are many people who have the same opinion as you, but paying with crypto provides an enjoyable experience for everyone, just like the first time we pay with a bank card. The expansion of ecosystem will make BAT more valuable and all BAT holders benefit.
At the same time, the introduction of this platform will also push other e-commerce platforms to accept crypto sooner.
