The very first step is to accept your fear. You sound so ashamed about it, but you don't have to be! Fear is a natural feeling that we feel because in many situation it is useful to get us out of trouble. So accept that you will feel fear when trading, acknowledge the feeling, and focus your energies on making rational decisions. This is easier if you plan things out and force yourself to follow your plan despite the fear.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Will the month of May be better for Bitcoin?
« on: May 17, 2022, 10:33:27 AM »
Well, so far May has been even worse... I guess every new month gives us new hopes and expectations. But in this situation, I think we need to be patient. It might take time for prices to pick up again.

Sometimes I do falter, regretting I didn't sell at X point so that I could buy back at a lower price. It feels bad, but we cannot always foresee these things, so I try to just move on. I'm also actively avoiding panic selling.

When it comes to investing in crypto, you need to do it for the right reasons - not only considering the hype or the general direction of the markets, but also making sure you choose the right entry point, consider your risks and a reliable exchange.

It is hard to say right now the bank will trade crypto or not but it clear that some technology that blockchain offers make bank interested. JP Morgan open their lounge in one of the metaverse project. Also there was some positive news from some top bank about crypto integration. I hope soon this will be the reality.

I agree, nothing is certain but there are definitely reasons to believe banks will be interested in blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies. The most likely scenario seems to be the creation of CBDC's, from where I'm standing, though.

Stellar Forum / Re: stellar and bitcoin will stay survive
« on: May 10, 2022, 09:42:48 AM »
Bitcoin will definitely survive in my opinion. There have always been stagnant periods and bear markets, and these can feel really long when we are going through it, but I don't think this will damage Bitcoin on the long run. I feel optimistic about Stellar, too.

This is an interesting thought experiment. The incredible versatility of tokens and blockchain technology provides us with a whole new perspective on what the future may look like. It's just a little hard for me to imagine what things will look like because I see a lot of obstacles in the way of widespread adoption.

I'm not sure if they are essential either. Like most things, there are two sides of the coin (pun intended). On the one hand, new projects are the ones that have the most potential to multiply their price. On the other hand, it can be a gamble to bet on new projects, and if they turn out to be scam or just worthless, that can be damaging to the reputation of the crypto economy.

Ethereum Classic / Re: Ethereum Classic's Potential
« on: May 10, 2022, 09:24:14 AM »
are ethereum and ethereum clasic same?. can i make token like erc-20 on ethereum classic network?.

thanks before.

No, Ethereum (ETH) and Ethereum Classic (ETC) are two different things, though the name can be confusing. ETC is a result of a hard fork.

I think this article brings up interesting points. I mostly agree with the conclusions.

Litecoin Forum / Re: Can litecoin overtake binance and Etherium?
« on: May 02, 2022, 08:31:45 AM »
I agree with most posters, I don't think Litecoin can overtake Binance or Ethereum. I think it would take a lot of changes on both sides for that to happen and it is not a likely scenario.

I bought FTT, DIA, SXP. These are some of my favorite coins. As i see their bright future, i invested in them. If you look at their charts in the coinmarketcap, you'll see that they were in a good equilibrium point. But due to bear market situation, they are suffering but not too much. Almost all of these are above their average price. Moreover, their utility is increasing as well as the users. Utility matters  ;)

I agree, utility is important! Without it, a coin's future is much harder to guarantee. Nice picks.

Traditional banks cannot die due to the emergence of cryptocurrencies, because they are under the reliable protection of states. And I don’t see any danger for them from the cryptocurrency side. Banks play a very important role in ensuring the functioning economy of every state. Cryptocurrency cannot perform all the functions that banks perform. Banks will certainly adopt from the cryptocurrency and its blockchain technology the most useful for them. However, their nature will not change. CBDC is a prime example of this. The banking system improves its non-cash payments, but the essence remains the same.

I agree with most of the things in your comment. However, I think CBDC's do inherently change the nature of cryptocurrencies. Sure, the underlying technology is the same, but the fact that they are controlled by banks takes away from their decentralised nature and the fact that cryptos are supposed to be "controlled" by its overall users.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Hunting bounty is it profitable?
« on: April 25, 2022, 01:43:30 PM »
In the year 2017 we saw alot of bounty campaigns in the Altcoinstalk down to the year 2018, that time you can see useful bounty to participate but currently is very difficult to see crypto bounty that's successful, but do you think that bounty hunting is it profitable or not?

According to my observation, starting 2018 until 2021 bounty campaign was really not good at obviously not profitable.
However, this recently only I also noticed that bounty campaigns became good little by little and it depends on the BM who managed it. Therefore at this moment bounty campaigns is turning back its good trust to some of the community here in the crypto space.

This is good to hear, last time I looked into bounty campaigns I got to the conclusion that they aren't worth it, indeed.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Crypto Trading - Long term Vs Day trading
« on: April 25, 2022, 01:38:52 PM »
Day trading has a little bit similar into scalping way in doing trade via exchange, only their difference was the risk in scalping is too high rather than day trading. While long term is good only if the coins hold is really right and has a potentials to give profit in the future but if it is wrong choice of coin, that is the disadvantage of it.

This is an adequate comparison. Day trading also comes with its own risks and it can be more taxing mentally since you need to spend more time on it. However, short timeframes are more suitable for making bigger profits on the long run, especially if you are starting out with a small amount of capital.
