Bitcoin is definitely the king right now, but I think we should keep an open mind.

though to me, stable coin is needed to put trust in some newbie i crypto that it can be stable and the likes, and its also a means of increase more to invest and theirby increase on the long run. stable coin is just like safe investment.

I still don't patronize stable coin.  They were just created out of thin air and the dev just declare that is 1USD ea. with some fund backing that is actually cannot support the whole supply of token.  It is a mere propaganda to take your USD and present us with fake USD in form of cryptocurrency.  When everything in crypto is regulated, I am sure one that will meet a problem is this stablecoins.

I partly agree with you, except stablecoins cannot only be backed by fiat money. Fiat-backed stablecoins, in my opinion, aren't the greatest either. Nor are crypto backed ones. But take for example algorhytmic stablecoins. By having sound policies and regulating the issuance of money according to price fluctuation, they make trading a lot safer and protect from bubble effects.

I get that this is not suitable for lots of crypto enthusiasts but it is definitely alluring to "traditional" investors and if we want to have a shot at cryptos becoming more mainstream, I think we need stablecoins.

I agree with those saying this rise is not a reason to invest. The rising price in and of itself doesn't necessarily mean a drop is coming but I would be concerned that it just ends up being a bubble. Although it's interesting to see how it has reached even higher peaks since the original post on this thread. I find it too erratic and unpredictable at this point, but I am interested in watching where it goes in the future.

so far there has been no sign that can confirm that there will be a change from altcoin to substitute for bitcoin. it will take more time because it is not easy to shift bitcoin which has become an idol from crypto. all pursue and invest in bitcoin because it is clearly very profitable. This does not mean that there are no good altcoins but it will take more time for investors to trust more.

How is investing in bitcoin profitable now?  I see no reason to say that.  The price is constantly moving in different directions.  Previously, yes.  Now it is not profitable to invest in bitcoin

Short term it is very erratic, yes, but I for one believe that it will get stronger again in the long run. Bitcoin has seen some downtrends similar to this year's price movements but it always bounced back eventually, and I think it's going to continue doing the same at least until we reach the maximum amount of bitcoins. I read similar things in forecasts too.
